The staff was polite, particularly when interacting with children. They were proactive in suggesting options that might be more suitable. However, there was a mix-up with our order, and a different waiter had to come and ask us what we had ordered. The preparation took approximately 30 minutes.
When the food arrived, my son discovered a metal object in his dumplings. Upon inquiring, the staff informed us that the dumplings were not made in-house, and they only cooked them. I would have expected a dish replacement or at the very least, an apology.
When we approached the cashier, we were offered to stay and finish our tea. After declining the offer, they allowed us to leave without charging us for the meal
Palermo Cafe
On Ketavan Dedopali Avenue, not far from Avlabari metro station. The cafe is family friendly, they meet with love, they cook delicious food and the most reasonable prices, they checked everywhere more expensive. The interior is modest, but mentally, comfortably, the dishes are large enough for one for two, soups can be taken in halves, excellent food, wed check 1500- 2000 rubles, compared to prices in the city lower by an order of magnitude, where to eat for two from 3000 rubles and above, we got 5000 rubles. Food in Georgia is more expensive than in Moscow, please note.
Try the meat and potatoes, the wine is decent, my husband highly appreciated the chacha. Georgian lemonade is beyond praise. The hostess is just a miracle, she calls all the visitors: my children, after that you don't notice how you become a child who came to his parents to have a delicious meal. And note this sincerely with love and soul! Live music in the evening and dancing)))
A small cafe in the center of the capital of Georgia - Tbilisi with very sincere and friendly service. The price tag is humane, considering that this is the center of tourist Tbilisi. The interior is ordinary without frills. The menu is small, but everyone will find something to their liking. The portions are large. The service is fast, but sometimes the waitresses confuse the order tables. But this is a small detail. The only drawback is the car parking. There is practically no room. We parked the car nearby, and upon returning found that we were stupidly "locked up" by another car. I had to wait for an hour for the negligent owner, who did not even bother to leave a phone for communication. So be careful with that. Otherwise, we were satisfied. I recommend this restaurant to everyone to visit. You won't leave there hungry, that's for sure.
We've been to this cafe twice.
The interior is very outdated, but everyone goes for delicious food and an adequate price tag (almost).
The portions are large, really tasty, so don't order too much from hunger. We were, for example, at Saamo on recommendation, and were very upset (the interior is prettier, but more expensive and generally tasteless).
Don't expect European service and standards in Palermo - it's a simple place where you can feel like an old friend.
The only thing that confused us was the miscalculation. You may not have noticed the % service charge, but at least it wasn't on the menu. The first time it was 3 lari more, the second time it was 9 lari. With the same waitress, the hostess's daughter. We did not try to find out, to make a scandal - the money is small, instead of tips. But if you have a clear amount laid down for the visit, it is better to clarify this point in advance.
Otherwise, we were satisfied and we will be happy to come back again.
An absolutely wonderful cafe, with an unforgettable, wonderful, kind-humored, cordial and extremely hospitable hostess Victoria! You come to this family cafe not to have a quick snack, but to sit and enjoy Georgian and European cuisine. Everything here is delicious at home, fast service and quite affordable prices for huge portions! Having been here once, I no longer want to go to other places with indifferent waiters, and we came here again and again. I especially liked the pilaf and eggplant salad, very soulful trout. And Victoria's red wine is extremely delicious!Prosperity to your institution and health to you Victoria! I recommend it to everyone!
The most sincere hostess, Victoria! Even looking at the photos now, I want to eat kharcho, khachapuri, and dolma again.. Victoria's food is delicious! Victoria welcomes every guest as a family member. It's very nice to be greeted like this and to be given delicious food. We came here with my daughter several times during a week of vacation in Tbilisi, and before departure we also stopped for lunch. We said goodbye with such warmth! Thank you, Victoria. Prosperity to you! I recommend everyone to visit this warm place in a Warm city.
A great place of peace. Delicious, kind, homely. And if you talk to Victoria (the director), then you will have an interesting story about her unusual life, and the strict look of her grandmother - why only one khachapuri took. Live music (we are not particularly fans of this) it is very appropriate and does not bother. They play music from famous movies, beautiful romances, etc. Very, very
I came here on the recommendation of a travel blogger on YouTube, and I didn't regret it! It is not a very large and homely cafe. The staff working harmoniously in the hall immediately attracted attention. Taking orders, taking out dishes and cleaning tables for guests were very quickly carried out by several women in the full dawn of their years. I got the feeling that I came to visit my beloved and caring aunts to taste khachapuri. )
The menu is not big, but all the main hits of traditional cuisine are there. The portions are simply huge! Think carefully before ordering TWO different dishes. It will be difficult to leave the table.
Kharchos with chacha, made especially for the institution, are simply indescribably delicious! A salad of baked eggplant and juicy khinkali finally convinced me of the skill of the chef of the establishment.
All this, combined with the local flavor in the communication of the staff with the guests of the cafe, left a very pleasant impression.
The conclusion is simple - I still want to come back here!)
An unambiguous recommendation. 20/10
Delicious, large portions, inexpensive, warm, friendly staff, speaks Russian. They are treated like relatives.
The place is simple, but with a big soul and hospitality. They sing live, which adds color.
I really liked it. 🥰
I wish success and prosperity to the owners
A small cafe with a chic kitchen, wonderful housewives. A very warm welcome, the hostess herself came up several times, sincerely, friendly, tasty and satisfying. By the way, it is quite affordable at prices.
It is located next to the Avlabari metro station. A cozy, homely cafe, with a modest and simple setting. Very tasty, not expensive dishes. Good wine, chacha. The service is friendly. Live music is great. I recommend it to everyone
Great place, delicious and reasonable prices. But let's go in order:
Workers:
10/10
Our waitress Victoria had a very pleasant energy. A cheerful and pleasant woman to talk to. I really liked her manner of communication, you can immediately feel the Georgian blood
Atmosphere:
10/10
Very nice and pleasant atmosphere, lots of space and there are always free tables. The cafe looks authentic, beautiful decorations on the walls, comfortable wooden tables, everything is very cozy
Waiting time:
10/10
Our order was quite large, but it was brought very quickly, there was no such thing that someone was sitting and eating, while others were watching: everything was fast and immediately
Meal:
10/10
We took dumplings, pizza, pancakes with meat, eggplant salad and khinkali
The dumplings were very tasty, the portion was large (about 14 pieces of dumplings) and hearty, after they you could not eat anything, even it was hard to finish them because they are very satisfying. The dumplings were with sour cream and butter, so they were delicious and did not stick together.
Victoria recommended pizza to us. She said it was the best pizza, and it's true. We took a ham pizza, one of the most delicious pizzas that I have tasted in Georgia.
The pancakes with meat were small but hearty, there was parsley that the child did not really appreciate, but everything else was delicious
The eggplant salad was delicious, we fell in love, very tasty, the perfect balance of salt and spices
Khinkali was also delicious, they were brought with sour cream and they made us very happy
Menu:
10/10
There is a large selection of Georgian cuisine, there are also European dishes, so it will suit any guest, it pleased
I advise everyone to visit this institution at least once
The best restaurant not only in Georgia, but also in my life. Very colorful... It's incredibly delicious. The wonderful hostess came out to us, took the order herself, helped with the selection of dishes (just an amazing choice), communicated with us very nicely, very family-like. Amazing people work here, they are very sociable, friendly and passionate about their business. They were interested in how we were, helped us figure out how to eat this or that dish correctly. All the dishes brought were delicious. Very tasty. The price is absolutely reasonable for such an amazing place. This place made our day and left wonderful memories! Thanks!
Delicious home cooking! Homely family atmosphere! The hostess is just a very pleasant woman, warm-hearted, welcoming, with a good sense of humor! Thank you for a delicious dinner!
What a cozy and wonderful restaurant!
The food was delicious, the portions were good, and the table wine was pleasant.
I was served by three wonderful grandmothers who were very friendly, spoke three languages and suggested the menu to me.
Usually, I try not to give a good grade. I don't really want to make a place super popular where it's comfortable and cozy. But this is a special case. Vic's mom, the owner of the establishment, asked. By the way, she is 38 years old today - so it's even hard to imagine what level of "Delicious" will be in Palermo today.
In this place, for the first time I tried a simple dish (fried eggs), which I absolutely do not understand how it could be made so fantastic.
Here, for the first time, I ate something with boiled and fried onions - although the very sight of such a product makes me feel the most disgusting.
My friend and I (who also calmly tasted the dish with the cilantro he hated for the first time) came every morning and just went with the flow - Vic's mother offered us herself. And every time it was something super special and amazing.
So, I definitely recommend it and get ready to eat after Palermo only in Palermo) if, of course, after breakfast or lunch you just want to eat)
Victoria - my Best Wishes To You!!! Live Happily Ever After!!! And May Your Establishment Prosper!!! :)
A great place to relax and have a snack. Recommend. Pleasant service, there is a menu in Russian. The hostess Victoria is a very kind woman, she can recommend good dishes. In principle, everything is delicious. The price is pleasant, for example khachapuri in Emiritinsky 15l, in Old Tbilisi 20-25l, although everything is very close. Take into account the place is popular with the locals, everything can be occupied, book in advance or come early.
A very atmospheric family cafe of Georgian cuisine. They welcome and treat guests like family ! The food is incredibly delicious and the portions are large) the prices are reasonable! I recommend you to visit
Everything we've tried is delicious at home! The hostess is the main attraction of this establishment, treating every visitor with soul and care. I want to return to such places and remember them for a long time.
A nice, cozy cafe with live music. But the main and absolutely charming asset of this cafe, its soul is its owner Victoria! This amazing woman greets you as a dear guest, jokes with everyone, asks if it's delicious, who can't decide on a choice will give advice. Everything is very tasty here, from khinkali to the author's pilaf (I have never eaten such delicious pilaf!)absolutely gorgeous Grandma's eggplant salad. And homemade wine! There are no words.! By the way, you can grab a bottle and go home. We walked around the city a lot and visited many cafes, but we did not find such an atmosphere, such cordiality, speed of service, delicious Georgian food anywhere. By the way, the prices are very pleasant! When you are in Tbilisi, be sure to visit Victoria, you will not regret it! Many thanks Victoria, for those pleasant evenings that we spent in your cafe, good luck and prosperity to you
Amazing, sincere and cheap
They taught us how to mix delicious natakhtari correctly, fed us hinkal for lari and wished us a good day
Delight, I will definitely come back here
A very cool place in Tbilisi, everything is homey , Georgian , real.Victoria and her daughter treat their guests and their business with love.Very tasty. We went to breakfast - omelets are divine.Iced coffee instilled a special love in me , but it 's special there.Thank you for the hospitality and delicious food.I wish the hostess to remain as attractive, eternally young and healthy.I definitely recommend you to visit. It's 10 out of 10 ❤
This is the first cafe where everything is at home that you don't want to leave. We were in Tbilisi for several days and our guide told us where to have a delicious meal. The good-natured hostess Victoria met us, a smile does not leave her face, sat us down, fed us, treated us to wine and showed us a master class on how to eat khachapuri in Adjarian. It was something, laughter and fun could be heard from all corners of the cafe, thanks to the cafe owners. I definitely advise everyone, the portions are large, you can take one for two and taste it.

An amazing cafe, with amazing cuisine, pleasant service. It was in this cafe that we experienced Georgian hospitality. The dishes were very tasty, the portions were huge. The wine is awesome. Many thanks to the hostess Victoria, you will rarely find such a warm welcome. She tries to feed everyone, to show how to eat a delicious dish. A visit to this cafe leaves a long pleasant aftertaste from both the dishes and the people who work in it. And khachipuri!!! The dough is fluff, I've never seen it anywhere, it's the best! Victoria, thank you for your hospitality.
An excellent home-made cafe with live music!, where you can taste national Georgian dishes inexpensively, as well as drink homemade wine. Friendly staff and even friendly musicians! And most importantly, this is the hostess of the cafe - Victoria!🔥🔥🔥 You won't leave her hungry for sure! Go at least once, you will understand everything for yourself!
Palermo is one of, if not the best place in Tbilisi. It combines cordiality and care with unobtrusiveness, the taste of homemade food with stability in quality, delicious food and reasonable prices. After eating there once, we returned every day when we had the opportunity. Delicious homemade wine, huge portions, and a charming hostess gave us a feeling of home away from home.
A very soulful cafe. We found it by accident: we asked a local Georgian where you can have a delicious and inexpensive lunch. He took us by the hand to the Palermo and introduced us to the owner, the charming Victoria. We were offered many delicious dishes. Eggplant salad, author's pilaf, dolma. If you mix local lemonade with the taste of tarragon and with a creamy taste, you will get a drink reminiscent of the Lagidze fruit waters known in Soviet times.
Many people come here for a cup of excellent coffee. And, of course, try homemade wine from Georgian grapes, made by an Armenian woman according to a Jewish recipe.
When we are in Tbilisi, we will try to visit this cafe again.
We were warmly welcomed and well fed. Four for 60 GEL, inexpensive and full. We went on the recommendation of local residents, we were very satisfied. I recommend
For 9 days in Tbilisi, we have not found a better cafe than Palermo. A very sincere hostess, delicious homemade food, a small price tag.
Homemade wine is the best of the wines that we have tasted.
I highly recommend it
Excellent cafe, prices are below average, everything is delicious, the hostess is very hospitable)) The portions are large, they cook like at home, the location is good, I recommend it.
We came to Georgia with an excursion for four days and on the second day of our stay in Tbilisi, a local resident advised us to have a cafe with delicious and inexpensive cuisine))) He took us to this wonderful place, where we met a very cozy homely atmosphere. The daughter of the owner of the establishment, Malvina, was very sweet and friendly. The dishes are very tasty, the portions are large (we took for two, and the salad for four)). We liked the cafe so much that we decided to have dinner here with a friend. Victoria, the hostess, a surprisingly attractive, energetic, friendly lady, fed us as if we were her welcome guests at her house! Amazingly delicious pilaf, eggplant and excellent homemade wine!!! This is probably one of the best establishments we've ever been to!!!
We got into this institution on the recommendation and did not regret it. A traditional menu with large portions. On a budget. Very tasty. I liked: kharcho, khinkali, khachapuri in Adjarian, vegetable salad. The branded fish did not come in. The taste was interrupted by the hot sauce. The interior needs to be improved, but cleanly. Also, be ready for a long dawn, they have some problems with this.
a wonderful cafe, they will show you everything, they will tell you how to eat. We went to dinner, we didn't even think it would be such a good evening. The man plays the accordion and sings beautifully. Victoria (the owner of the cafe) told how to eat kebab properly and brought her own wine. It's a great place.
We've been here twice. We had dinner once, and before departure we went for breakfast.
I liked the dinner, we ordered khinkali, they were very tasty. Vegetable salad is a large portion. In general, it is budget-friendly and delicious.
There was some kind of misunderstanding with breakfast. We ordered an omelet with ham. They brought us ham and mushrooms. When we asked what we ordered only with ham, we were told that we were not heard when ordering (although the woman wrote down everything we ordered in a notebook in Russian). We were in a hurry and couldn't really wait for another portion to be cooked, so we agreed to it.
After 5 minutes, they came up and said that they had mixed it up in the kitchen. Then they came up again and said that they would have to pay not 8 or even 10, but 12 lari, since there was both ham and cheese. There is not even such a position in the menu. The situation is ugly, and customers do not go to a meeting, although the employees actually make a mistake.
It is not clear why the cafe has such a high rating. Inside there is an atmosphere of the 90s, nice women serve, an elderly man plays instruments and sings, but the food is tasteless. Shkmeruli is one chicken quarter divided into 4 parts, more bones than meat. Tobacco chicken is a huge plate of not very tasty potatoes. It is absolutely not worth its 24 GEL. For the same money and even cheaper, you can eat much tastier in Tbilisi.
The most sincere service and delicious food in all of Tbilisi. The prices are pleasant, live music is played periodically. If you're around, be sure to check it out!
A pleasant and delicious place. Friendly hosts and staff. Delicious homemade wine, excellent soup with meatballs, dolma and veal with beans. A small check.
A gorgeous place with adequate prices and with large portions! Peculiar waiters, but this betrays a separate charm to this restaurant! I highly recommend it!
A great, cozy cafe. We really liked it!!! Everything is fresh and not expensive! ❤️Everyone will find something to their taste, that's how we were created 😁many thanks to all the employees❤️especially the hostess!!! Good-natured, responsive, caring, humorous and just beautiful❤❤❤❤❤ and the owner is also nothing
We recommend you to try red wine, khinkali, khachapuri, fish, spicy, coffee and most of all you liked mushrooms with meat and cheese baked️very tasty!!! It's good that there are places like yours where you can spend time with friends!!! 💐
After all, a person should eat and drink and enjoy his work. It's a gift from God.🌺🌺🌺
We wish you a good mood and wonderful visitors
Sincerely, your guests from Siberia
A very sincere cafe, with the most friendly and caring staff. The food is very tasty, and the atmosphere is like at home. You can also buy the most delicious homemade wine and chacha.Thank you, we hope to see you on your next trip.
It's a pity to even put one star. Just got out of there. It feels like they spit in my face. The hostess began to teach me how to eat a kebab. She took my kebab and brought it to her mouth with the words "take a bite." Lula is terrible. It is impossible to eat. When she saw that I was eating without enthusiasm, the hostess began to show me how to eat. She took my food with her hands and showed me how to eat. With the same hands, she took the money and gave back the change. By the way, they do not accept cards. All the food is stinky. The terrible interior of the 70s. Grandmothers waiters generally spoil their appetites with their appearance. Words cannot describe my condition after that damn cafe. The building is also an emergency one. It can collapse at any moment. The hostess is cheating. I don't know who writes these lauded reviews, which I just bought into
We were here on 12.03.25. We ate the most delicious food and drank delicious wine and cognac during the whole vacation! It's a pity that on the last day, otherwise we would have come here every day! We were fed by a beautiful woman Victoria! A warm place, I recommend it!!!
The atmosphere is amazing!!! Live music. Victoria is extraordinary, affectionate, attentive, she did not leave anyone without attention! The prices are very affordable, the portions are huge, they were taken for several people. The cuisine is homemade, delicious, national, but not very spicy in a European way. Pilaf is a bomb. I recommend it from the bottom of my heart!♥️
Great location, convenient location, polite and attentive staff headed by the hostess! It was like visiting my grandmother, very tasty, huge portions! Good homemade wine! Live musical accompaniment makes the evening the most colorful!
A very cozy and atmospheric cafe!polite and sociable staff, homemade cuisine with a local flavor. Clean -tasty-pleasant. And live music , everything you need for relaxation and mood for any occasion
A great cozy cafe with great music and sincere service!
Delicious homemade Georgian and Armenian food!
A very nice and welcoming hostess!
We will definitely return to this wonderful place!
I recommend it to everyone, you will not regret it!
