What can I say?! A wonderful source. A lot of positive emotions. Incomparable beauty. Useful barefoot walking. I recommend definitely putting something on your head, using sunscreen. Take a snack with you.

If you go to Pamukale, then do not expect something like this, but I still recommend visiting. The source itself has apparently run out, the water in the baths is not everywhere, half of them are empty. The best time to visit is either early in the morning or in the evening. There are a lot fewer people.
It is very beautiful, especially from a bird's-eye view.

Delight. You need to see with your own eyes! We traveled without a tour, by ourselves, on public transports from Antalya there and back, perfect! I recommend it right before the opening, so that you can take a photo, then there are so many people....)
A magical miracle of nature, it is worth visiting this place. In one place there is an old Roman city, a mineral spring with body temperature and the famous white terraces of the cotton castle. Don't forget to wear sunglasses, it's blinding like at a ski resort from the snow.
I advise you, T. K. It is a UNESCO heritage. We were with a group, check-in to the store is mandatory, but it does not bother because they give little time, they told us, looked further, but there was not enough time for the sights themselves. There were a lot of people, so you had to wait for the moment to take a picture. The Cleopatra spring is also worth a visit, the water there is really mineral, reminiscent of Borjomi. Naturally, not to rejuvenate, but to refresh!
One of those places that you've heard about and seen in pictures, but when you see it with your own eyes, you're surprised once again how beautiful and diverse the world is.Nature is an amazing creator.Choose to visit at the earliest in the morning, opening at 6:30.Don't forget the sunglasses, the whiteness is blinding. And they will be ready to move a lot.The entrance ticket can only be purchased with local money.
The ancient city itself, the calcium mountain, and especially the theater are magnificent, but the Aphrodite pool spoiled the experience. The water is hot, there are a lot of people. It turned out that we were thrown like meatballs into a soup to cook. Yes, and for a fee.
This miracle is wonderful, wonderful, wonderful, the pearl of Turkey, I recommend it to everyone.Great view in the amphitheater, beautiful ruins, travertines are magnificent, a lot of people, if you eat yourself, buy e-tickets in advance, otherwise the queue is long for regular tickets.
A very interesting place! Make no mistake, it's worth a visit! The ancient city of Herapolis is also interesting, the ruins of which are located nearby. You want to be here longer than the tour is designed to be.
I decided to write a review on the tour, I hope it will help many people make a choice. An excursion to Pamukkale was taken through Anex with a hot air balloon flight. Let's take it in order:
1) The cost for two was ~ $640. Not a few, but we decided to try it. I must say right away, the service did not match this money. For example, for info, the price at the Kilit travel agency is $ 440 for two for the same service - it's unpleasant that the price is too high at Anex. There is a feeling of being deceived (
2) We were accompanied by a guide, a native of Turkey, named Janan. During the acquaintance, she said that she had about 30 years of experience in conducting excursions. This raises a question, because the guide did not have a sufficient level of knowledge of the Russian language to conduct the tour. It was very difficult to hear the information from the guide with such an accent. The guide also made a remark to many of the group, as in kindergarten, to keep quiet, although people quietly discussed one issue, did not chat, and even more so did not shout. There was a moment in Pamukkale when the guide stopped telling, because there was another guide nearby who was telling his tourists loudly (in Russian without an accent), by the way, much more interesting than our guide) Janan went to him to make remarks that he was talking too loudly, because it knocks her down and she It's hard to broadcast. It didn't bother us, tourists, and we asked to continue the tour, we could move 15-20 meters away and continue talking, rather than go to another group to figure it out.
There is a question of certification of the guide, she gave little information, told uninteresting, no more data than in Wikipedia (it so happened that she told more about the city of Bodrum (from which we left) than about Pamukkale! Although the tour was in Pamukalla. Sadly, keep in mind when choosing Anex Tour.
3) Attention, there is a lot of built-in promo in the tour for tourists' money, for your money! I think this is extremely arrogant, because the price of the tour cost quite a lot. I had to visit: a jewelry and onyx factory, a textile factory and an alcohol market with oils. All this is free of charge from the hotel! And how much time has been spent! A nightmare! And of the whole Pamukkale tour, only 3 hours are given, and it would be possible to allocate 5 hours instead of visiting these shops. Of course, it is impossible to get around all the sights in such a short time.
4) The main "feature" of the tour was a balloon flight. We were transferring from the main bus to another transfer that took us to the balloon launch site. But the driver made the wrong platform and in a panic began to drive everyone back into the bus. Then we waited on the bus for the road to clear (because it was occupied by inflated balloons) to drive to another site. Moreover, tourists not from our tour calmly photographed the process of inflating the balloon, but we were sitting on the bus waiting. As a result, during sunrise, we were shaking on the bus, rushing to another site - the sediment remained.
But! Flying on a balloon, this fantasy, Emotions, and views are at a height. Still, a good organization of the service and it would be a complete delight!
5) They promised a glass of champagne when the balloon landed, but instead they poured some kind of soda) It's funny, even here they saved money.
As a result: the cost of the tour from Anex Tour is significantly overstated, the reasons for the overpricing are unclear, because the service does not correspond to the content. The price of such an excursion should be cheaper. Or the cost is the same, but the service is higher!
So, dear tourists, keep in mind what you may encounter when choosing a tour from Anex.

It has become very expensive (2024 30 euros admission), only 3 upper baths work, in which everyone is sour, the baths that we see in Google, in reality, have been dry for a long time, they are not even filled for appearance. It's very sad. Artificially made it bigger, but Pamukkale is almost dry. Let me remind you, Cleopatra's bath is a separate cost.
A unique place! Travertine deposits on the mountainside. An extraordinary, fabulous landscape! One of the main attractions of Turkey, the natural and cultural UNESCO World Heritage Site "The Ancient City of Hierapolis and the Pamukkale springs". A beautiful historical place, picturesque nature. The downside is a lot of people. But still, I think everyone should visit! Geothermal springs with a water temperature of 36" C and reservoirs-terraces formed from travertine. The cascade of terraced baths (pools) decorated with snow-white calcite stalactites is amazing.
The main disadvantage is the organization of the tour. We bought outside the hotel, from local agencies in Antalya, compared to buying from a hotel guide, it is about a third cheaper. The road is quite heavy, despite the comfortable bus. But the most unpleasant moment is the constant visits to the shops when moving both there and back. We've been everywhere - in a textile store, at some factory, at a wine tasting and in a bunch of some small shops. And only 3.5 hours were allocated for the entire tour of the complex, i.e. an excursion and personal time.
It's a very beautiful place. This
is a big plus.I haven't been there for a long time . According to the latest information, nothing has changed externally. The number of tourists staying there and the prices have only increased
I was in the springs without a tour group, a completely different impression. Going from below is much better than going from above.. Fewer people , clean water, cool terraces
Guys, this tour is not worth it. Of all the sources, there are only 2 remaining, the rest is completely dry. Wasted time and money. The guide and the guys on the beach won't tell you about it, but upon arrival they will look soooo surprised.
An unusual natural landmark. But not WOW. The place is overly praised as something amazing and fantastic, but in fact it is an ordinary chalk mountain, not high. Overlooking some kind of plain with a city on it. I was a little disappointed to be there. I expected more. There are baths in the form of Cretaceous craters. The water is clean, you can walk along these springs. I advise you to stock up on sunscreen, otherwise you can get badly burned (water and white have a very strong reflection).
The place is very beautiful! Wow! But the tour was organized from Pegasus with omissions (it took two hours to drive, we drove three, and generally 4 extra with a bunch of shops). The guide kept silent about the paid visit to Cleopatra's springs, praised all the way, handed out tickets and then, in fact, collected money. These pools are a dubious pleasure, a lot of people in a small puddle. So we did not go there (40 minutes of loss of time) things to the storage room, immediately went to the travertines, went through all 12 pools down slowly with pleasure))) and a bunch of photos, there are two observation decks at the top, there were, the museum and the Roman Theater were already running((( three hours was barely enough, it's hard to imagine if we went to the springs of Cleopatra, there would be no time at all (((we got some mineral water back there is a place where to pour))
forcibly to all Turkish shops in a row - stones, wines, bed linen, arrived at the place in the heat by 11 o'clock, gave 3 hours of time on the spot (they were not enough) advertising Cleopatra's pool for cooling in hot weather and that the depth is up to 5 meters for an additional fee of 300 lira for two. As a result, with phones, they are not allowed there for your money, even in a waterproof case, there are a lot of boulders piled up in the pool right at the surface of the water about which you can get a bunch of bruises, the depth is more than half a meter there - it is impossible to swim - you cling to the bottom with your feet or boulders, the water is dirty above 35 degrees with a disgusting smell - you do not cool down. In addition, the water contains radioactive radon, the usefulness of which is in doubt, you will stink of radon for a long time despite the shower. It is believed that the object was created artificially in terms of piled columns to create an additional source of money. No Cleopatra would bathe in such a thing. Definitely not worth the money and possibly dangerous to health. We advise you to take a walk around the city of Hieropolis and travertines, also without abusing being on them. The tour itself is disgusting because of the promotion of Turkish shops and cafes - they do not warn about the shops when buying the tour.
Although everything is original and dried up, but they are not to blame for this)) we created artificial lakes, we were delighted with everything in general)) and from the ancient city and from Cleopatra's pool) I liked everything, we drove ourselves by car, without excursions)
For God's sake, it's not worth coming here already. It was cool here 5-10 years ago, when there were pools, everything was natural! Now there are no pools, they make extensions out of cement, they make you walk barefoot, although there are areas where it hurts to go barefoot, the entrance costs 200 rubles. In general, unfortunately, I do not recommend this place. This is already a tourist trick, and not a true natural creation.
I personally liked the cool source! The only thing is that this is not Cleopatra's pool because Cleopatra lived in Egypt!!!! Therefore, do not believe that Cleopatra swam in this pool!!!
A popular tourist attraction in Turkey. Three entrances: North, South and Lower. And everyone has a soe opening time. A single ticket. In Pamukkale and in the ruins of Hierapolis. In September 2023 - 700 liras.
