It's beautiful and very patriotic. The monument-chapel is located on a small island, opposite the sports complex, surrounded by a river and a picturesque view, if you do not pay attention to the huge sprawling residential complex nearby

It is located on an artificial island on the Svisloch River, in the very center of Old Minsk. The memorial is also a popular place for newlyweds, who consider it a good tradition to lay flowers at the monument. This complex symbolizes the memory of all Belarusians who died in military operations outside the country.
