An amazing place with a courtyard, all the dishes that were taken were sooo delicious, I recommend trying manta rays, you will not find this anywhere...
The restaurant is colorful, there is Armenian and European cuisine. The portions are large, they cook very tasty. The fish (mermaid) is just licking your fingers. We were told in detail not only about the range of wines, but also about where which wine is produced, its history. The service is fast enough. Prices are lower than in the city center.
An establishment with an amazing selection of wine, hot dishes, as well as desserts. I have never been disappointed yet, the lamp-like atmosphere is very good, especially on cold evenings when the fireplace is lit. In summer, you can sit outside, there are also places on the balcony, but I was not comfortable there, because there is a roadway and noise under it.
Lovers of washing down meat with beer, unfortunately this place is not for you, there is no beer on the menu, but I will help you choose wine at the highest level.
The staff is extremely polite. Delicious, pleasant atmosphere, a large selection of wine. A portion of pork in Dilijan style is my respect, you can feed two or three at once.
+a good selection of Armenian wines, delicious salads, a very cozy courtyard, there are places on the balcony
— not all wines go by the glass, many are sold by bottles, a burger and steak must be asked in advance to be served hot, otherwise you can get them warm
Delicious delicious delicious
Order manta rays and they will pleasantly surprise you
The service is the highest
Hospitality 11 out of 10
Nadia, thank you very much)!
Very tasty. The portions are huge). If you order something, specify the volume). For example, a pork kebab on the bone is two pieces of 300 grams of the freshest meat. But it's the best I've ever eaten. The cuisine is local, the products are local and fresh from the local gardens.
I was led to good reviews, but in fact the restaurant is so-so. The hall and the furnishings are the best thing in it. According to the dishes. We took salads, mushroom cream soup, red bean soup, pork ribs and manta rays. Salads are normal, they are difficult to spoil, soups are also fine, but the hot stuff is full of seams. The dumplings turned out to be fried dumplings in some kind of mayonnaise sauce, the ribs turned out to be terrible - it felt like they were first boiled into soup, then taken out, smeared with tomato sauce and put in the oven for 15 minutes. There is no question about the taste of baked meat, boiled bland taste and nothing more.
Prices: one and a half times higher than in restaurants in Yerevan. Including tea, more than 11,000 drams per person (with a bottle of pomegranate wine).
I really liked the pleasant atmosphere and delicious dishes. Before that, we visited the terrace, it was a little different. It turned out to be very cozy inside, now we will come in more often.
I recommend it :)
The establishment attracted by the presence of a terrace. Allowed with a dog (Chihuahua). For comparison, this is more difficult in Yerevan.
There were few visitors during lunch. The dishes were cooked quickly and tasty. Of the minor disadvantages: the compote was very sweet and the trout was a little dry. I liked the meat on the bones. Chicken with vegetables is very juicy and delicious
I liked the fast and courteous service. About 20 thousand drams were released for four people. Is the tip included in the receipt? Which is very convenient. It is not the most expensive establishment in Dilijan, but it is very worthy.
View of the photo from the topmost level of the terrace.
Be sure to visit for gastronomic pleasures.
A cozy restaurant with a fireplace, hidden in the streets of the mountain town of Dilijan. A good selection of wines, the best cocktails in Armenia (try Mountain Spritz with mountain herbs.very tasty food, next to which it is worth coming from Yerevan, or from Moscow.
I was at the institution at the end of April 2022. I tried a raw plate, several positions of wines, ribs with potatoes. I liked everything very much! Delicious, stylish, high level of service, beautiful interior, separately pleased with the presentation, the eye is always happy that you will have to taste! The waiters are young boys, very polite, attentive. There is a large selection of wine, in the evening there is nowhere to go to Dilijan to hang out, you can sit here with good wine and in a pleasant atmosphere. The music is not loud, you can communicate comfortably. There is also a summer veranda for 4 tables.
On August 4, 2022, we had dinner at this wonderful institution. The staff is friendly, the atmosphere is conducive to a pleasant evening.. Special thanks to the chef for the delicious food (lamb leg, mushrooms, ceviche and orange wine were ordered) We recommend it!
We visited this institution at the end of October 2021. The restaurant itself is not heated enough, given that it was no more than 10 degrees outside and it was raining. The restaurant is ordinary, the room is small. Before accepting the order, the waiter silently brought two bottles of local mineral water. It was just the two of us and we thought it was a compliment from the establishment, since they hadn't even brought the menu yet. After that, we made an order and first, as expected, brought the salad, and then the second. The second course had grilled ribs, they ordered two portions, but brought one. We thought that the second one would be brought next, but after waiting for 10 minutes we got nothing. We asked the waiter, and he looked surprised and said that the order was for one serving. With grief, the second portion was brought in half, so we ate in turn. We drank one bottle of 0.5 water. After finishing their lunch, they asked for the bill. The bill was brought in Armenian, but even in Armenian we realized that mineral water was included in our bill. As a result, it turned out that the water was included in the bill without their consent and without warning. In general, there are good impressions from the city of Dilijan itself, but not much from this restaurant
If you're in Dilijan, go to Papanino House anyway. It was a leg of lamb of the highest quality. The meat was easily separated from the bone and at the same time it was very nicely fried on the side. Then they explained to me that it was cooked for 6 hours.
We ordered a salad - it is also very tasty, toasted sesame gives a very cool taste. The wife had something like a dolma (in composition), but not a wrap. It is also very unusual and very cool taste.
Washed down with tarragon lemonade, just as it should be
Well, I highly recommend it, the chef is a genius.
We were in November - there are few guests, they serve quickly. The choice is small, but the national dishes are interesting - soup with meat balls, mantas (you will be surprised at such mantas), salads, pasta.
Pleasant interior and calm atmosphere
PS the restaurant is on the second floor :)
A wonderful cozy place, delicious food, the menu is in three languages (Armenian, English, Russian) the service is ordinary, the average check, including 10% tip, 5200 drams, (787 rubles, 11 dollars)
The lamb was over-salted, the portions are very small, the establishment itself is not authentic Armenian, it looks more like a parody of an Italian restaurant, we are not very satisfied with the service, we were served for a long time, ignored more, tried to serve more Armenian visitors. The compote was ridiculously diluted with water , for comparison , the next table with the Armenian guests was served an undiluted , brighter compote of the same kind:(( disappointed
One of the advantages was a snack with tomatoes, not bad, but if objectively the place is not worth a visit.
The menu does not match the composition of the dishes. I ordered 2 dishes - everything went by. The soup menu did not specify cereals, but in fact it was. The salad on the menu was with nut sauce, which was not in the salad
