The park has a lot of entertainment for children at an affordable price, as well as a large free playground. The zoo is small, but the child was interested. The only small cafe.
The famous Lugansk (Voroshilovgrad) park at all times in several generations!!! Let it be small, but pleasant to the point of nostalgia! And the Camelot company made its efforts to improve the park (garden) on May 1st!
The park, of course, requires restoration, and when this happens, it will again become a cozy and favorite vacation spot for Luhansk residents, it seems to me. Now there are carousels, where I saw a lot of kids. I was amazed by the mini-zoo in the park with the attitude of the staff to the animals - they treated the animals with such love and care! The teenage bears gave a performance of "escape from Shawshank", the foxes were furious. A curly-haired ostrich with ADHD walked around and constantly bullied a calm little black one, Nutria ate food with her paws, just like my daughter still does. The lion is sleek, the mane is better than mine... I wish you, dear ones, recovery and prosperity.
The park is great. On earth, all landscaping work is done exclusively. It is well maintained and beautiful. Roses are blooming everywhere. Good playgrounds , normal coverage . When I was there, the rides did not work, although there are ticket offices, they say that tickets are valid for the whole season. There is a cafe too , it was also closed) . There are tents with water, ice cream and sweets at the entrance to the park) . Overall a good impression, a cozy place) thanks to everyone who works there)
Cons: Old, unattended rides, high prices in the main cafe Camelot, an abandoned building right on site
Pros: Untouched nature (which is not cared for), good Camelot decor throughout the park, average prices for attractions
The park does not change from year to year))), I rode these carousels when I was little, now my children ride there. It's gone for the little one. In fact, the carousels are 35+ years old, the zoo is like that, but it doesn't stink. There are no boats (this is a swing in the form of large boats, the olds remember), in their place is a pool with different swimming boats. In a summer restaurant, beer runs out for some reason until the evening, although there are no people, and this is on Saturday. In my understanding, the park was exhausted on the first of May. I really hope that everything will change for the better.
The feeling that you get to the USSR, the prices are simply shocking, the most expensive attractions are 250 rubles, beautiful alleys, fountains, a pond - you want to come back here. Here you can also satisfy your hunger in the Camelot cafe, quickly, tasty and inexpensive
Unfortunately, all the swings are outdated, there is practically nothing for the adult contingent. You can see the condition of the wheel from the photo. It is necessary to carry out, if not re-equipment, then at least reconstruction or thorough restoration.
It's scary, scary, very scary. Old amusement rides, probably my parents used to ride them when they were little. Everything is primitive. The zoo is generally terrible, poor animals. They look very tortured. It's disgusting
There has been no repair for a long time, the rides are already in need of repair, as is the whole park. There is a long wait in the restaurant and even higher prices
It's time to change the Ferris wheel for a long time, I'm soon years old and once the chains were changed and something else after 90, when I personally went down from the top of the stairs, which was held on the structure itself
The only amusement park in Lugansk. The carousels are all old Soviet, but they are working. There are few staff, two guys for the whole park. There is a zoo nearby , the smell is not very good . But the children are happy to have what they have . I hope they will carry out reconstructions and update the carousels .
It seems to be a frontline city, but it is as calm and unhurried as all the southern cities of Russia. The park is at its best in the USSR. But you can't get the atmosphere and mood like that anywhere, well done, keep it that way from small to big!
The only place of recreation with attractions in the city. The attractions are probably already 50 years old, and there is little shade in the heat, it's a pity there are no investors for the reconstruction of the park. The zoo stinks terribly, I feel sorry for the animals.
As in a happy Soviet childhood) the wheel is the same age as me)) it creaks and shakes, people run every 4 booths, they seem afraid of overload. But there are a lot of people on weekends! Poor Lugansk people, be patient a little more, your beautiful city will blossom even more than before.
The park is well maintained, there is something to see. You can have a good time with the whole family. But the rides are already outdated and require renovation.
The park has already been restored! It remains only to restore the concert venue (shell), so that when the war ends, the orchestra of the law enforcement agency (Ministry of Internal Affairs, or army) will perform there! In order to cultivate patriotic education among pre-conscripts in this way!
The place is good, restore a couple of buildings and it will be great) There are attractions, there is a zoo, where to eat, too, there is a nice place for children and parents to relax
There was a good amusement park with attractions from small to large. But now everything has been closed after 2020. They have now been restored, but the tile looks like someone vomited on it after getting wet...
A park from the childhood of any child of the USSR. The attractions are from there, the Ferris wheel, the daisy, the whirlwind. Everything works, everything is painted and maintained in the most attractive way, but the quality is 40-50 years old and you can't hide it) the park itself is beautiful, greenery, lawns, cafeterias. Further development and prosperity of this place.
I'm pleasantly surprised. The park is open. Attractions are working. You can go for a ride. The park is clean. Mini cafes are open. You can have a drink and a snack. People love the park.
I have been to this park, there is something to strive for and develop. The territory is not large, the prices in the cafe are too high, which does not correspond to the status of the establishments.
The swing does not inspire confidence, but there is nowhere to go in Lugansk except the park on May 1. The zoo is sad, it's a pity for the little animals, they need a place more
A park for recreation and entertainment for the whole family:attractions, carousels,a sandy playground, a zoo with a wide variety of animals (bears, lion, donkeys, llamas, baboons, sheep, guinea pigs, rabbits, arctic foxes, foxes, raccoons, nutria, snouters, turtles) and birds (pheasants, peacocks, pigeons, parrots, eagles, crows, owl, chickens, ducks, ostriches, emus).Green landscape, photo zones, many benches, free Wi-fi throughout the park, lotteries for children, ice cream cones for every taste, cotton candy,a cafe-summer playground. The Ferris wheel is impressive-a bird's-eye view of the city. The prices are good-a children's ticket is 50 rubles, an adult ticket is 70-100 rubles. There is a kiosk with pastries and drinks next to the exit.We liked it very much, the children were satisfied. We recommend it!
It was a wonderful summer, where my children and grandchildren spent time riding on swings and went to the Zoo, to look at animals, birds and other residents, I think the ticket I bought is pet food and employee pay, of course you can work on something, but that's all.
We were with the whole family at the opening of the season, got into terrible queues at the ticket office for tickets to the attractions. The prices are reasonable) but unfortunately the rides do not look reliable, the Ferris wheel seemed to crumble with people ((( and in general, we were satisfied with the rest in the park)))
Attractions that are over 50 years old have been installed. The park itself is in a depressing state. At the moment, I strongly do not recommend visiting it
A park where you can have a good day off with your family. The prices are INEXPENSIVE, compared even with Rostov

A wonderful park, everything is great from a neat lawn to a cafe, a zoo. As for the attractions, I would like to see something new, as well as on the site of an abandoned building in the park

My favorite childhood park. It really needs an update!!! Swing- carousels of the Soviet era 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️
It is a very atmospheric and pleasant place, the staff are friendly, everyone does their job with pleasure, the guys in suits are funny and do not stand still, there is a cafe, a Good Children's area, there is a smell of animals above the children's attractions, but nothing, because there is a zoo, a lot of animals. It is not expensive and pleasant, I advise you to go

The park of May 1 is the park of childhood of not a single generation already) A nice park, but small. There are attractions for both kids and adults. The Ferris wheel! Zoo. There is also a cafe on the water) barbecue in the assortment. Birch grove)) playground for children. A small pond. In the evening, beautiful lighting in the park. Come relax with the whole family!
