Having visited many Marriott hotels in different countries, I regret to say that Park Chalet has nothing in common with Marriott. There are complaints about everything.
There are not enough storage cabinets in the room, a tattered armchair, a non-closing toilet and shower with excellent acoustics, leaking showers, and a tiny sink. Sometimes they put water on, sometimes they don't… Cleaning only consists of folding towels and making/changing the bed. Nobody even thinks about vacuuming.
Breakfasts are a separate topic. There are not enough deep plates, empty dishes may not be changed for a long time, there are 2 types of juices from drinks, water without gas, tea, coffee. That's it... Now even in 3* hotels there is more choice.
The SPA does not monitor the contingent, there is no lifeguard in the pool area, people in outdoor shoes and outerwear can easily enter.
Well, and most importantly, there are no lockers, no instructors, no rental service in the hotel located at the ski resort. There is also no direct access to the slopes. Everything is at the Shahdag hotel, which is worth choosing when traveling.
The restaurant in the hotel is very expensive, and some drinks are not on the menu. There are questions about the dishes. A cradle with cartilage, burgers are not tasty, nuggets give the impression that they are store-bought. Basically, the resort has a big problem with food for children. There is no children's menu, all meat is seasoned.
The resort is exclusively designed for skiers/snowboarders. The rest of us have nothing to do here. A completely strange system of lifts, which you need to reach by bus, which runs once an hour.
Of course, there are advantages. The staff is friendly, very comfortable beds, large rooms, a normal-sized swimming pool.
A super great hotel. The best in the resort.
Lovely large rooms. Great delicious breakfast.
There is a swimming pool and sauna.
Ski storage and rental are available at the nearby Shahdag Hotel.
A good hotel in a small ski resort, designed in the style of European hotels, on the 4th floor there is a high-quality restaurant with a small but thoughtful menu (although sometimes you have to wait a little). We were at the resort for a week, visited all the restaurants, this one turned out to be optimal. Ski storage - solid 5! Everything is warm, skiing from the threshold, a little confused, ski rental is organized, etc., but you can put up with it. In short, a confident 4 plus
The hotel is good, but in some places it requires minor repairs: blowing from the windows, a battered armchair, etc. And the cleaning is average, not pulling on 5 *. The restaurant is nice, but very expensive. Dinner for 2 without alcohol and steaks is 120-150 manat.
A very beautiful hotel with beautiful mountain views. Spacious rooms and luxurious breakfasts.
There is no access to the tracks and rooms where you can store equipment. I had to rent a locker in a nearby hotel, which, by the way, has its own access to the slopes and lifts.
The best ski resort in the former Soviet Union. We are resting for the 7th year. The park chalet has an excellent restaurant on the top floor with authentic cuisine. The prices are high, but it's worth it.
Thank you for such a reception ! Everything was at a high level ! The room is wonderful! Views! The view is wonderful , the territory is clean ! Restaurant with a view! It 's delicious and the music is good ! Excellent lobby , polite and hospitable, I want to come back!
New beautiful rooms. The bathtub is in front of the window. Everything is luxury. The restaurant upstairs is more expensive than all the others nearby, but everything is delicious and the panorama is beautiful.
The pool is large, not a paddling pool.
We arrived on 02/21/2021 at 16:00, although the establishment was at 14:00, and the rooms were not ready yet.
With a small child, I had to wait an hour for check-in. The service is disgusting:
