The park was founded in 1805 by the first governor of Minsk, Z. A. Korneev, and was originally called the Governor's Garden, renamed in 1960, when reconstruction took place. In the park there are:
a stadium for playing and holding field hockey championships (the only one that survived in Minsk after the Great Patriotic War);
planetarium, observatory and meteorological stations; ice palace HC Yunost; monuments to Maxim Gorky and Zachary Korneev; observation "Ferris Wheel"... I recommend it for a family vacation...

Отличное место для прогулки с детьми 3+. Есть несколько интересных аттракционов для малышей. Бегают белки. Самое большое колесо обозрения в Минске. Есть 2 больших бесплатных площадки. Туалет детям до 7 лет бесплатно. Парковка вдоль дороги почти всегда занята, но место найти можно. Без проблем можно найти блинчики и кофе. Из минусов хотелось бы доработать общепит, поставить больше новых, разнообразных взрослых аттракционов. Вечером приятно пройтись вдоль канала, посмотреть послушать фонтан.

Here with children ::-) The carousels are simple, but neat, well-groomed. The first acquaintance with the Russian roller coaster - the Wild Train - happened to my son (7 years old). Prices are now 4.5 rubles, 3.5 for large families, 1.5-2 for children's attractions. But there are queues.
In general, I am satisfied, I remember as a child I had to stand for 2 hours now for a maximum of 30 for seashells, I did not buy tickets to the racetrack (I paid at the box office by the way with the contactless application!), but just took a queue and paid with the pay application. The result got everywhere!! Cotton candy for 4p. Aquagrim 10-30p. You can take pictures with animals for a fee, did not specify the parrot, snake rabbits.

Отличный и ухоженный парк практически в самом центре города. Много зелени и живности, которая судя по всему весьма комфортно там проживает. Это я про уток, что размеренно плавают по каналам и про белок, что становятся объектом охоты для детей. Взрослым найдётся на чем покататься в парке аттракционов и конечно что нужно не забыть заглянуть на колесо обозрения, для особо смелых есть даже открытые кабинки. Образцовый парк что тут ещё можно сказать

Большая и в то же время уютная территория. Очень зелёная, красиво оформлены клумбы, рокарии. Множество аттракционов и развлечений для детей. Ну а для взрослых тоже можно найти по душе развлечение - нас вот всегда манит к себе колесо обозрения. Здесь оно большое, кабинки есть открытые и закрытые на 4х. На открытые кабинки колеса стояла большая очередь.
Есть где перекусить - кафе и киоски с кофе, мороженым, снеками.
Туалеты имеются, платные.

We like this park. We come every year. This time we arrived on May 5 at 12:30. There were people, but not too many. We found almost the last parking space near the main entrance. There weren't many people in the queues. We bought a ticket and immediately got on the attraction. Almost all the attractions were working, and each had its own visitors. Three hours was enough for us. I can't say about the ticket price, because I didn't buy it :) But they got into the planetarium for the "Wanted Planet" program. Небольшой, но уютный парк с аттракционами. С мая работают фонтаны, на озере и реке можно покормить уток и голубей, возле ёлок - белок. Для любителей велосипедов есть специальная дорожка. Аттракционов не столь много, как хотелось бы, но колесо обозрения есть. Вечером можно посетить обсерваторию. Есть уютный тренажерный зал, кафе. Легко добираться на общественном транспорте. Отличное место для отдыха с детьми-есть прокат машинок, рядом расположен цирк.

And if suddenly the child wants to go somewhere else, go back to the cashier, stand in line and so on indefinitely. But despite all these disadvantages, there are still a lot of people in this park.
