A very cozy hotel. In downtown. We stopped five or six times. The staff is very friendly, easily translates into Russian, joking. A good breakfast, a restaurant at the very top of the building and windows on two sides. Nice clean rooms, you can have a dog. A couple of times there was a problem-in the shower the water did not quite have time to go down the drain.
General impressions - we will definitely come again.

A large hotel located in the city center. It was built in Soviet times. The furniture of those times. The hotel has centralized air conditioning. Perhaps it is because of this that an extraneous smell is felt in some rooms. The staff knows about this feature. Therefore, if you feel it, they will change your room without any problems. The breakfasts are delicious in the form of a buffet. During the pandemic (April 2021), everything is different. Breakfast is given to you in the form of a "dry ration". In boxes packed in a bag. Pour coffee or tea yourself, into a cup. And you go to your room to have breakfast. I admit, the rooms are not adapted for this at all. However, lunch and dinner are served in a completely different way. On two floors of the hotel (8 and 9), the rooms were stripped of furniture. They put only tables and chairs from the restaurant there. It turned out to be like separate offices. It's clear, a pandemic. In them, food is brought to you personally. Which you pre-order at the restaurant by phone. The menu can be taken at the reception. Probably, after the pandemic, everything will return to its place. New - you can rent an electric scooter at the reception. The hotel staff is friendly. Parking of cars in front of the hotel is free. Do not forget to take a pass at the reception and put it under the windshield of the car.

We have been going on weekend excursions for many years. There is something to compare it with - we have been to many places in Estonia, Bularus, Vologda, the Golden Ring of Russia, Karelia. The Latgola Hotel is the best. The service is excellent, the restaurant is characterized by abundance and quality of cooking, the rooms are comfortable. We have a very large group of SPGUPTD of more than 45 people and everyone agrees that it was more convenient and attractive to stay overnight. Prices are available even to state educational institutions and senior teachers. It is located in a beautiful convenient location in Daugavpils. On the ground floor there is a wonderful supermarket with delicious Latash products. Our grandmothers (from 75 years old) immediately run for cheese - the taste is "like before". I recommend everyone to visit the Latgola Hotel.

Excellent location in the center. The rooms are clean and quiet. Very helpful and friendly staff. Fast internet connection. Free parking. Delicious breakfast buffet (wish: there may be more dishes for vegetarians).
