A good hotel. I was most pleased with the friendly and welcoming staff. It was very pleasant to return to the room in the evening and see the clean, treated plumbing. A soft cozy bed and a fascinating view of the Western Dvina. One of the disadvantages is a low-quality hand basin and shower.
Cafe "Volna" on the ground floor a la home cooking for the price of a restaurant. For this money, I would prefer a restaurant instead of a cafe. Of the dishes, I can recommend only draniki (lush, delicious, fried). Pasta is ordinary pasta with pieces of meat, and the soup of the day is an ordinary homemade mom's soup, something like mom's improvisation "I cooked it from what it was." The staff is very pleasant. Pleased:)

We didn't book in advance, but walking around the city, where we were for the first time, we saw this place. We were lucky and just had a double room. The interior was clean, towels and toiletries were in place. The mattresses are not very comfortable, but they will do for 1 night for traveling, it is economy.option. There is a refrigerator inside, which is convenient in summer. The staff is very friendly.
The only drawback is the spiders. On our 3rd floor, they were very noticeable closer to midnight when the lights were turned on. Both small and quite large. When I turned on the sconce, and not the main lamp, the guys ran towards me... If we were traveling alone, I wouldn't have fallen asleep there myself. Probably the reason is that the place is by the river.

I spent one night at the hotel. A mid-level hotel. If you just spend the night, then it's fine. In general, everything is good, clean. But the carpet caught my eye, which needs to be changed a long time ago, seems to have been cleaned, but with a touch of long-term dirt. Both the furniture and the bed linen do not seem to look ancient, but in appearance they look like in the 80s of the last century.

Hello, a normal hotel, the price is high quality. Very good staff mostly. Even for 4.5 only due to the fact that on the day of check-in, September 2, they booked in advance for some reason they settled in a two-bed room, converted from a single room, very cramped for two people and with a window overlooking the cafe and banquet hall, there were banquets in both places (Friday) the noise did not stop until 23-30, further we asked and were relocated. And here the first surprise was offered several rooms with windows on a quiet street, normal spacious, real double rooms. The question is why it was impossible to immediately give a normal double room?. After twelve hours on the road, I wanted to relax, and not move to another room. And there was another unpleasant moment with the number. We said we were leaving on September 10th. On the eighth, they tell me on the ninth you will need to move to another room, since you are staying with us for one night!!! A group from Latvia is coming. They need a double room. Well, I couldn't stand it. Let me ask you, do you book rooms by room number? And if there are rooms, then why not immediately put them in some other room, why in the one in which we already live. Why do I have to move in for one night before the road. It's not clear at all. But when we came back from a walk, they told us, sorry, this is the receptionist who messed you up, leave the test in your room. But the mood was ruined for half a day. So it's a minus to her for immediately sending her to a small noisy room, if there are good ones, and she got a little confused. By the way, the kettle was also given with a broken lid, the next day Dasha or Nadezhda changed to a normal one. Two Hopes, Dasha, just clever.
Towels are written to be changed every three days, changed at the request of the fifth, but cleaned cleanly every day. In the shower stall, the door broke immediately, but the plumber fixed it a day later, but still it barely moved. There it is not necessary to put it on again, but to change the wheels. The cafe could have been open at least since ten. But there is a kettle and you can have breakfast in the room, since the products are amazing, sour cream, cottage cheese, cheese. You can have lunch at Domiana, Dominika's pizzeria, or the Chabor dining room opposite the polyclinic on Kommunisticheskaya Street. You can have breakfast and lunch (from 8-00 it works) very, very decent and absolutely inexpensive. And if you take the whole room, the city, and most of the staff, then everything is very good. But not all of them.we checked in on September 2, were given a double room, booked in advance. Since it was impossible to fall asleep after twelve hours on the road.They did not refuse to transfer it. The room turned out to be a real double room, spacious, Windows facing the main street. The question is, really, it was impossible to immediately check into such a room, especially since they were. We were offered two to choose from. Moreover, the same administrator did not tell the shift that we were up to the tenth.You can wash it off later. As a result, we were almost evicted in order to put someone in our room and give us another one. Again, it is not clear why, I had to be embarrassed and ask what rooms are booked under the room? And why should we move to another two-seater, and this one will be given to others. Well, then everything turned out, I didn't have to move. But it was only with one administrator when they settled in. Then everything was very good. And they gave me a kettle and plates.Both Hopes are very attentive, Dasha. The room was cleaned every day, but the towels had to be replaced. The rules say a change of linen once a week, half a month every three days. We lived from 2 to 10 inclusive, we asked to change the towels on the fifth day. In room 408, the shower stall door fell off. The plumber put it in place for the next laziness, but pay attention there it is necessary to change the wheels, the doors barely move.
Here is a true story. The staff is five after all, the conditions are four plus.
And what is missing is breakfast.The cafe only starts at twelve o'clock and with a much higher price tag than in the city.

The staff is nice and friendly. But no more, the plywood walls feel like that. You will laugh, but I got up at 5 in the morning with the number on the right of their alarm clock and at 7 in the morning on the left side. Audibility is just tinny. We settled in because of hopelessness late at night. We didn't even think about staying another day because of poor sound insulation.

The rooms are clean, the plumbing is disinfected, the staff is friendly, the room has a refrigerator, a comfortable bed, an armchair, a coffee table and a desk, a large shower room. There is a grocery store within walking distance. The only thing is that athletes are constantly quartered, so there is an unquenchable smell of sneakers and armpits in the corridors.

We decided to take a walk around Polotsk and come here for the night. We accidentally went to the Parus Hotel, looked at the offered room and decided to stay. We visited a Soviet-era hotel, modest but clean. The plumbing is disinfected and really clean, the bed linen is clean, the mattresses are comfortable and the pillows. The room is not smoky, this is a big plus for us. And, most importantly, the price of the issue. For that kind of money, you can't find a better place to live for a short time.By the way, the iron and kettle were taken from the administrator, no problem. So we recommend this hotel, not because we did not live in luxury rooms, we just arranged the price-quality at this moment.
