Ducks and swans live here, they say that there are a lot of fish, we saw snakes in the water and under the trees. There are a lot of people on weekends, I think that on weekdays it will be more pleasant to walk through the shady forest along the lake. And in autumn it must look very picturesque.

There are many recreation areas around the lake, there is a cafe, there is a rope park - you can fly over the lake on a cable car. Quite a lot of people walking around. The lake is popular with both tourists and locals. It is best to get there by taxi and ask the taxi driver to wait an hour or two for a small fee.. If you let him go, it will be difficult to call a taxi. There is also a hiking trail from Dilijan, but it is for the prepared, since it runs along mountain trails and has a length of 13-15 km.

I read somewhere that the place is suitable for tracking. Sorry, I didn't notice. Even for a walk in nature, it's boring. The lake is shallow. We went in a big circle - we did it in an hour. But they were knee-deep in mud and bitten by mosquitoes. It had rained the day before, the paths were impassable, they went deep to walk through the foliage. The views of the beech forest inside were not impressed. It's more picturesque in front of my house. I do not advise you to waste time and dirty your clothes in wet weather.
