We were at the hotel from November 5th to 15th. I liked the hotel as a whole, decent, but not without nuances.
Food and drinks: the breakfasts are good, you can have lunch right away, everything is there, almost every day something new is added.
Drinks: diluted juices, water, coffee, tea.
Minus: We took alcoholic cocktails, here the miss is complete. They gave me a chance three times, different cocktails, just ice with syrups everywhere. Either they regret it, or they don't know how.
Room: got a view on the 5th floor overlooking the sea, very lucky. The furniture is not new, but everything is clean and tidy. We didn 't expect anything new in general . I liked the concept (separate collection of plastic on site).
Minus: not enough light (as I understand the idea), the shower is not removable, there is no shelf for soap accessories, one hook for all towels.
Location: excellent, two beaches are within walking distance, everything is nearby, just going down the hill, climbing up the mountain was sometimes difficult, but tolerable, a shuttle goes.
The most important disadvantages that have happened in recent days:
1. We lived without air conditioning for three days. They constantly said: yes, we will fix it, but it was fixed only on the third day at night, after which it flowed all night and flooded the room a little. Since we don't sit in the room, we didn't care during the day, but at night it was uncomfortable without pre-cooling the room.
2. They added an extra position to the receipt for the bar, promised to sort it out every day, in the end they did not decide, each time we explained again what we had not eaten, they told us: we will figure it out, come tomorrow and so on in a circle. In the end, we paid, because we didn't want to spoil our mood and rest because of this situation and go every day and think about it. they imagined that they had left a tip)
The rest is a comfortable hotel, delicious food, friendly staff.
This is a chain of hotels, consists of three buildings and swimming pools, you can swim in any and eat on the territory of each, which changes the situation.
We had a family vacation in November 2024. The hotel is excellent, there are English-speaking Thais at the reception, the rooms are huge, clean, cleaning every day, breakfasts are varied for any preference, the entire infrastructure is 3-10 minutes away. Exchangers, cafes, shops. To Karon beach 7 minutes walk to Kata beach 8min.
We took a 7-night tour in September-October 2024. The staff is friendly and helpful, always ready to help, but they speak only English. Without unnecessary demands and "gifts", they were settled two hours earlier in room 507 — with a view of the garden and two beaches, a large balcony and a picturesque bathroom. We washed the floors and changed the towels every day. For whom the "number of rooms is outdated" — it is better to go to Turkey and the UAE.
One of the advantages is a large green area, two beautiful but small pools, Kata and Karon beaches are a 5 and 7 minute walk away. The hill on which the hotel stands is not as scary as it seemed from the comments (at least for the young ones).
What the hotel has to work on is food. A good buffet breakfast is monotonous, but you will not stay hungry. Lunch / dinner was in the format of Thai cuisine sets (monotonous and not always delicious), while the European menu was promised to open for 7 days, but this never happened.
