This is the coolest place in Penjikent: open-air excavations. Something has been restored according to the original sketches. There is a small archaeological museum. Friendly staff

There is a small museum with exhibits at the excavations of the Sogd settlement. The main finds from this place are kept in the historical museum of the city of Penjikent, in the National Museum in Dushanbe and the Hermitage in St. Petersburg.
