Of course, the hotel does not pull at 4*, it is 3*.
Among the advantages: good breakfasts, good Wi-Fi, excellent location near Istiklal, pleasant staff (but not all).
They put us in a room with a view of the music bar, which is open until 4 a.m., and the window in the room does not close until the end, so this club was almost in our room. The first request for relocation was ignored, and when I started swearing that I would take the money and move out, they said that tomorrow they would be able to move into another room when people moved out.
In the morning we were moved, the room was quiet, but the window also did not close tightly, keep this in mind, this is probably a problem of the hotel, and therefore it is very much pulling from the window and you can catch a cold.
Another minus was in the shower - the water spilled all the way to the hallway, and did not leave, as a result everything was in the water.
A very pleasant hotel, a great location near both the tower and the tunnel and the Issyaklal-it was very convenient. The breakfasts are modest, without variety. The rooms are small but cozy, clean, there is a swimming pool, but we did not have time to visit :)
We were in February of the 24th year. The hotel has a super location for which you can forgive a lot. Near the metro station, Galata Tower and Istiklal are within walking distance. The room is quite good, of course, but nothing critical. Delicious breakfasts in the cafe at the hotel.
Despite the very small room, everything was decent: a pleasant smell of diffusers, good air conditioning, delicious breakfasts, caring staff, a great location near Istiklal Street, 200 m from the metro.
A good hotel with a great location - right close to the Galata tower, the historical tunnel, Isiklal Street and other attractions. The only thing that would be worth improving is to make the breakfasts more varied
We really liked the hotel. Very convenient location of the hotel, near the metro and the central pedestrian Istiklal street, with numerous cafes and its unforgettable flavor, along which an old tram runs. A 10-minute walk to the Golden Horn Bay, there are many cafes nearby where you can eat delicious food, but after taking a few walks, we realized that there was no point, since the hotel cafe had the lowest prices, and very good and delicious cuisine. There are several elevators. Upon check-in, we were provided with a room of a better category than we ordered, on the 7th floor, the Windows overlooked the bay, with a very beautiful view, especially in the evening when the city begins to play with its lights. The TV shows 4 Russian channels. Upon check-in, while waiting for paperwork, coffee or tea is offered. The room is clean, there are necessary towels, a kettle with tea sets (mugs, sugar, tea and coffee bags), water in small bottles. There is a good powerful hair dryer in the bathroom. Shampoo and soap are available. During our stay, the room was cleaned every day, we only came to the hotel to spend the night, and we were always pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness in the room. There was no corkscrew and bottle opener in the room, but we did not need it, since in the hotel cafe there was always beer at a price several times lower than in street cafes, and what we bought in the store, accessories were provided to us without any problems upon request. The staff is very nice and responsive, they reacted quickly to all problems, everything is positive. I recommend this hotel!
Good afternoon, I've never seen reviews, but this time I can't help myself. Of the advantages of the hotel, only the location, in the central part, the rest is just tin, they position themselves as 4 stars, breakfast eggs boiled In a shell, peeled eggs and an omelette, slicing two types of sausage from paper, coffee in thermoses when asked for cappuccino, we were told that this is a paid service, there is no question of any porridge for breakfast , juice powder, a room with 2 beds, one pair of slippers, there was no hair dryer in the socks , they had a fight, they brought a hair dryer, there is not even a glass for accessories in the bathroom, That is, the brushes are just lying around, 2 hangers for two in the room and usually 5-6, there is no threshold in the shower that will separate from the toilet, That is, you wash in the shower and towels were constantly laid on the water in the toilet, well, they asked for an iron, it's not that, nor black, but also there is no signal on the TV, in Russia this hotel is 2 if not lower
There were five days, cleaning was carried out every day, towels and bed linen were changed, there was no dirt in the room (I read previous reviews). Sometimes the Wi-Fi and the TV were messed up. The shower is nice and clean. There is a swimming pool, hammam (included in the price). All the hotel staff are friendly and immediately responded to requests.
Never, under any circumstances, choose this hotel. The rooms are dirty. Towels are only for one person. The breakfasts are disgusting, there is no choice at all. They bring you cheese on a plate, one slice of tomato, one slice of cucumber, three pieces of sausage, an omelette and a croissant. But there's a whole plate of bread. Tea is not always poured. The card for entering the room is constantly demagnetized. The only advantage is the location. Nearby attractions. No foursome. She doesn't pull a two. If you don't want to spoil your vacation, then don't stay in it. This is the worst hotel we've ever been to. And we were in Valencia, Prague, Poric (Croatia), Crete, Lisbon, Milan, etc.
The hotel is very dirty. When checking into the cleaned room, there was a tuft of hair on the table, torn sheets, a blanket with a huge yellow stain, the shower was torn out of the wall, dried snot on the floor in the shower.... there is nothing to say about the staff, they are not interested in helping the guests at all, complete indifference. Breakfast without a choice, what you brought, you eat. The layout of the room is very inconvenient. The washbasin at the entrance in the corridor did not fit in the bathroom. The hangers are broken, the TV is not working.
Excellent attitude of the staff. Always with a smile, always ready to help. It's a bit far to the tram stop, but it takes about 7 minutes by tram to get to the historical sites. A 5-minute walk to Istiklal main shopping street and a 10-minute walk from Galata Tower. The food in the hotel is for 4, there are not always enough places for breakfast, but this is compensated by the excellent attitude of the staff. The spa is good, but expensive. The rooms are excellent, the furniture and plumbing are a bit old, but clean and cozy. Cleaning every day, change of towels every day. A set of shampoos, shower gels. Tea, coffee, sugar, kettle. Two bottles of water every day. The overall impression is very positive. I recommend the hotel.
From the point of view of the design and architecture of the hotel, everything is fine, but the hotel staff screwed it up completely. They gave out a room with needles and invisibles on the floor, not even talking about the rest. We barely managed for someone to come to clean it up. As a result, at 1:00 a.m., the 3rd cleaner came who was cleaning with Turland mats. The staff is terrible.
