One of the interiors of Gomel Park, and the park is beautiful in everything. Everything is nearby, the main thing for children is there are a lot of places where they can roam, well, they did not forget about adults. ;) In the heat, it's good to go into this "font" and cool down or take a steamboat ride through the Sozh.
The Gomel embankment is very decorated with this fountain with a sculptural group, which beautifully depicts an ancient inhabitant of the city, as well as a symbol of the Gomel land - a lynx and a beautiful shuttle boat. The whole composition is located at the very bottom of the Kiev descent against the background of a beautiful panorama of the Sozh River. I recommend visiting residents and guests of the city of Gomel.
The sculpture is cool, there was no water inside yet, so the bravest sat down on a lynx with shiny ears :) Next to the benches for recreation, the boatman himself is colorful. I liked it as part of a walk in the park.
The best park in Belarus... Have a nice time with the kids. Very beautiful. There are many attractions for children and adults, there is a place to sit and have a snack...
Against the background of this sculpture, every Homel resident and guest of the city must be photographed. If desired, you can even cool down in some water. And next to it there is a craft fair on weekends in summer. Beautiful products at very reasonable prices
A very beautiful monument. But the only thing that bothered a little was the lack of pointers on how to get to it. The locals know, but visitors can't immediately find

A beautiful monument, very elegantly inscribed in the fountain. However, the fountain is too small.
An unusual and rather pretty monument is installed on the territory of the park near the embankment. In a small pool with water there is a sculpture of a boatman (pioneer), it is quite interesting, I recommend to inspect it.
The monument to the legendary historical figure - the Boatman and his lynx was installed in 2006 in Lunacharsky Park. It is not known for sure what the name of this settler of the XI - XII centuries was, however, there is such a character in several legends at once. The man and the lynx are looking in the same direction and wondering if anyone else needs to be taken on board the canoe.
The boat is installed inside an improvised circular pool equipped with a small fountain. The condition of the sculpture group is excellent.
Go. Go.Go.Go Stranded!!!!!
My beloved and hometown, the wonderful fountain of the Sozh river embankment!!! In summer, a riot of colors adorns the majestic sculpture, in winter the view is no worse!!! Come and admire the places, as well as the warmth of the citizens, the most beautiful places of the cozy city of Belarus!!!
Poor lynx, his ears are regularly rubbed ;) Let's just say this is one of the iconic sculptures of the city, located in the park area on the embankment
A beautiful place with picturesque nature, in principle, a good place to take pictures, and throw a couple of coins for good luck, near a beautiful embankment, and pleasing to the eye nature😉
As the monument itself is not bad at all, but why the boatman? Apparently there is a hidden meaning somewhere. But it will be interesting for the guests of the city. And in the heat of the children.)
The monument is beautiful! As a symbol of the first settler, the symbol of the city fulfills its function. Nevertheless, the feeling does not leave me that it was created nevertheless as a place for tourist breakdowns, as a point of mandatory viewing by tour groups. Since our city is devoid of architectural excesses due to objective reasons (wars, eternal province), it is necessary to create them and it does not matter that there were no special reasons for its creation - this sculpture helps to attract tourists to the city, which means to replenish the budget, i.e. everything revolves around money. I hope that I am still mistaken in the last assumption as the main reason for the idea and installation of the Homian.
Monument to the first Homel resident. According to legend, the man who founded Gomel sailed to this place. That's why there is a monument to the first Homel resident. But it is somehow not quite well located - with its back to the river. Earlier, the Raketa passenger quarry ran along the river from Kiev to Gomel. For example, if we restore this most interesting and convenient route now, then arriving passengers, guests of the city, will be greeted by the first Homel resident with his back to them.
But these are dreams. And now the back is seen by vacationers riding a pleasure boat or vacationers on the beach on the opposite shore.
The monument itself is very beautiful, but the continuation is not entirely successful.
