The cathedral is located in the center of Minsk. Conveniently located, right on Nemiga. Very ancient architecture. At the same time, it gives the impression of a warm temple, where they are trying to preserve the building and the prayerful spirit of centuries-old traditions. The male choir, which sometimes sings on Saturday evening, makes an indelible impression at the service. The sound is cheerful, fresh, very inspiring and tuning! Deacons have strong voices, they pronounce everything clearly and distinctly. The sound in the temple — you can hear every word! It has become much better compared to what it was before. Good candlemakers, no one pokes at the handkerchiefs... It's nice to come in and ask God for help, to thank him for what is sometimes so difficult to accept

The oldest church in the city. The cathedral was built from 1612 to 1620 in the Baroque style. The cathedral looks like a Catholic cathedral, but it has always been an Orthodox church, although it was significantly rebuilt. Of course, with a rich history. Previously, it was surrounded by a large Peter and Paul Monastery, which was even visited by Metropolitan Peter Grave of Kiev, Galicia and All Russia. An extremely interesting place. During the Soviet years, the cathedral was closed. In December 1941, it was opened, but in 1944 it was closed again and rebuilt for residential premises, then for an archive. From 1972 to 1978, the cathedral was restored in order to recreate its original appearance. It was opened in 1991. The most beautiful view of the cathedral is from the pedestrian bridge across Nemiga Street.

A pleasant atmosphere inside the temple, many icons of ancient writing. The painting has not been restored yet. It is clear that the temple suffered during the persecution of the church. But people are trying to rebuild. The miraculous icon is an Inexhaustible Chalice. A wonderful priest in confession. There is a very pretentious woman on the candle box. It is intended to be a place for prayer. During the Liturgy, the general conciliar singing (parishioners sing). This greatly interferes with prayer. It's a well-known fact that when you sing, you never pray. Otherwise, everything is fine.

My beloved, beautiful temple in Minsk. Catherine's :) Murals are being actively restored. One of the oldest buildings in the city. There is a particularly revered shrine in the temple - the icon of the Mother of God of Valaam.

I always went to this church and even got married there. But today I was unpleasantly shocked. I did not have time to put a candle to the icon - a worker came up and extinguished, took out all the thin candles, although they were only lit at all. I left the more expensive ones. And so it is under all the icons. What is it and what is it called? Why then sell thin candles if they are immediately taken out and thrown away???????? The sediment is unpleasant-that's not to say anything…… I'll tell everyone I know about it and post posts. It is unlikely that I will return there, and for those who walk, keep your candle in your hands while it is burning, otherwise it will be quickly thrown out, unless of course you bought a thick and large one. Shame on you!!!!!!!!

Be vigilant when visiting. People with mental disabilities are allowed on the territory and in all buildings of the cathedral. So, an aggressive alcoholic followed me from the library at the cathedral. He continued to threaten even after she said that she would call the police, but at least he stopped following her. The employee in charge of video surveillance in the cathedral sent to clarify the issue to the guard inside the cathedral. The latter turned out to be the same toothless alcoholic with a red face. No responsibility whatsoever. It's a shame for a temple with a 4-century history.

I love going to church. Inspiring. Psychologically, it helps to be Kinder. Thanks to Vladimir Krasno, the Sun, for giving us the Greek Faith, i.e. Orthodoxy, by exterminating those who offered blood sacrifices through the Heroes of the word God. The temple is very beautiful inside.
