A wonderful place for the soul. Handsome, powerful.
The children's corner is well thought out, a bench, bells, a shop. Exhibition of decorative cathedral houses. At Epiphany, lenten pancakes with tea were distributed for any donation. Everything is thought out for people. Well done!
It's hard to name such a place, but I'll try. The cathedral is gorgeous with its decoration and grandeur. The territory attracts with its beautiful flower beds and layout and temples. I would especially like to mention the church shop, where they always help if you don't know something
I really like this place. No wonder Peter and Paul Cathedral is called the heart of Gomel. It is very beautiful both inside and out, the territory is gentrified, a playground is equipped, there is an icon shop on the territory where you can buy, it seems, everything: candles, crosses, icons, prayer books, books of Holy Scripture, calendars, etc. The clergy are good. You just walk around the territory and enjoy the beauty and silence. People come here to be alone with themselves and God, to thank the higher powers for something or to ask for help.
It is a very beautiful cathedral. There is a beautiful painting and iconography inside. The autumn festive choir sings beautifully and performs hymns. There are many individual relics, including a whole reliquary with a very large number of relics of various saints. Although some aunts who watch the candles often chat and discuss the parishioners, it is impossible to focus on prayer.
It's very beautiful and spiritual. Just stand, look, be silent, even if you are not a believer. Everything is tidy, neat, and clean. Without unnecessary pretense and pathos.
They baptized my brother, everything is even very beautiful, there is a playground and you can call yourself to the kolakal and there is a circus shop and benches
The cathedral is beautiful, the attentive attitude of the priests to the faithful. It has great historical value. Gomel residents love this cathedral very much.

I will add my 4 stars to the overall 5.0 rating to adjust organizational issues. In a city with a tourist pass, I have been to different churches for the Liturgy, there is something to compare it with.
There is not enough brightness and solemnity of the service. The alarm clock with the gate open shines with low-power bulbs and then only half.((
I didn't hear the gospel at all, there are no microphones, I had to search and reread it myself.((
This is something that stands in stark contrast at first glance.
Otherwise, the temple is beautiful and majestic, there are many parishioners - this pleases)
Stop and listen to the birds singing!
On the territory of the temple, there is an exposition of greenery and swans! Look at the chanting schedule, many years ago, there was an organ there!
Next to the temple there is an opportunity to collect holy water ... in the corners with the height of a man, the figures of Saints!
The most important church of the Gomel diocese.
The large cathedral looks beautiful from the outside and is very decorated inside. The church houses the relics of St. Manefa of Gomel.
The territory will be pleased with models of churches, a variety of colors and decorations.
There is a large shop with a huge selection of Orthodox literature and utensils.
There is a special playground for children.
And the cathedral is located in the park and near the river, I highly recommend a visit.
The central Orthodox church of the city! In the early 80s, I still ran to the planetarium, saw the starry sky projected in the altar, the take-off of a space rocket...in the center of the temple, instead of a panicadile, a pendulum hung and showed the movement of the earth ...in the early nineties, the Temple was returned to the Orthodox Church, although Catholics claimed this temple (they even ordered an organ in America), and during repair work, the burial of Italian officers from the Second World War was discovered in the basement. The remains were moved and reburied near the Samaritan spring .Thank God, this is our cathedral now...Beautiful paintings, holy icons, relics of saints, to which you can venerate with prayer...According to your faith , so be it to you !!! Thank God the Orthodox!
The most interesting thing is in the courtyard. The exhibition "The lost temples of Gomel region". Miniature copies of churches and cathedrals, assembled with attention to every detail. It is very unusual, we have never seen this anywhere.
A very beautiful church inside.
There is a whole exhibition of models of other churches outside, probably something themed, but I'm not sure.
The church is in a beautiful park.
A place of peace of mind, located in a picturesque location. Very helpful employees of the church shop. They answer any questions. I really liked it, I will visit if possible
A very beautiful cathedral both internally and externally. A spring with holy water, a flower garden, benches have been arranged on the territory, an exhibition of models of churches in Gomel that do not exist now has been made
Everything is very beautiful and well maintained there! Wonderful women work in the church shop , who kindly explained and suggested everything ! I wanted to remember my sister and they told me how to do it, and I also got answers to my questions from them! And the territory is generally a paradise!! Thank you for such beauty! At least once , but everyone should go there , young and old ! I took my granddaughter there too! She was delighted! Good health to All and God's grace, in this difficult time!!
On the territory of the cathedral there are models of temples that no longer exist. I've never seen this before. The cathedral has painted walls and ceiling. Very impressed!

A very inviting place. Peace of mind and balance reign within the walls of the temple and on its territory.
It's worth seeing and touching it.
Very well restored, it stands in an amazingly beautiful place on the high bank of the Sozh River. Next to it is an exhibition of the lost temples of Gomel - it's a great idea, well done
A beautiful building. It is included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. You can visit it not necessarily as a religious object, but as an architectural monument. In Soviet times, the cathedral was converted into a planetarium, as it has a suitable dome.. In the 90s, the building was returned to the Russian Orthodox Church. Now there is no planitarium in the city, but the building has been restored to its beautiful original historical appearance.
The cathedral of the 19th century is located on the territory of the park, nearby there is a church, a chapel, a bell tower, a church shop, sculptures. The temple itself is large, bright and sincere. I recommend a visit.

A beautiful cathedral. I really liked it both inside and outside. It just so happened that I came right on Christmas Day.Because we were visiting from St. Petersburg. I was pleased with the icon of Xenia the Blessed of St. Petersburg. I really hoped that I would see her and for sure, she was there!)
We live nearby and often go to the temple itself, walk around its territory (children spend time on the playground). Very well maintained, clean. There are flowers all around, there is a place where you can collect holy water, there are also models of already inactive churches and temples in Gomel
