The ancient city of Phaselis is a picturesque ruin, beaches with views of Takhtaly Mountain and a favorite vacation spot of local residents. We were on Saturday and all the secluded coves and decent places on the beach were occupied by Turkish families, and cars were constantly passing along the road from the entrance to the "city" itself. Entrance to the territory is paid - 220 liras. I like to wander and climb the ancient ruins, so in general I liked everything. Aqueduct, thermal baths, the remains of temples, the agora and a well-preserved theater - all this smells of ancient history from the time of the conquests of Alexander the Great.

A wonderful historical place with beautiful coves, ancient ruins and picturesque views. Very atmospheric! The visit is paid, but it's worth it. There is a cafe in the parking area. You can visit the beach (relevant during the season). Restoration work is underway in some places, but this does not interfere with the visit. I recommend it!
Magnificent, fabulous, ruins of antiquity and one of the best beaches in Kemer, especially if you are with children, there are changing rooms, shower and toilet.
Honestly, well, it's kind of fun.
We rented a car and drove to the checkpoint - the price is 372 lira per person (372x3 = 1116 rubles, as of August 2024). They take it from the number of people in the car.
It is necessary to go for the emotions of the ancient city. In the morning and take water and energy. The place is open until 20:45.
We were passing through and couldn't enjoy it for that amount. A lot of construction equipment, wires, etc.
There is no guide, wifi or notation in Russian (only one information board). There are a lot of people, but everyone swims in the bay - there is no special feature, in my personal opinion.
But if you are a fan of Assasins Creed Odyssey, you definitely will

It is located very close to Kemer. A small square of the preserved city, with the Lycian Trail running through it. It's a small Roman theater, but it also has its own Andrian's Gate. Because of the beautiful nature. You can take a short hike along the Lycian trail to Paradise Bay. Admission cost about 10 Euros in January 2025 or according to the museum card. You can drive directly to the ancient city.
Very beautiful! It's good that the city is being restored. We took a taxi from Chamyuva, it's a long way to go from the bus. A round-trip taxi, taking into account the fact that $ 25 is expected. One way (back) 15. Admission is 10 dollars. Children under 8 years old are free of charge. The ticket office accepts only lira, so change it immediately from the bus driver. Or at the supermarket, they accept dollars and euros, and give change in lira. There are three bays there, it's very good to swim. But it's better to take shoes for swimming, you can cut them on stones.
It's a very beautiful place. You can travel by bus 08, both from Kemer and Antalya, and from the village of Tekirova , the fare costs 40 lira . The entrance fee is 10 euros , but they take in lira , there were not so many lira with them , I exchanged euros for lira from the bus driver. Construction works are underway on the territory. But this does not prevent you from seeing the beauty of the ancient city. The second bay, which is located behind the baths, is perfect for swimming
Phaselis is an ancient city (16 km from Kemer), located among a picturesque protected park, with 3 pristine bays.
After getting acquainted with the ruins, you can relax here — swim, sunbathe.
Many people come here for the whole day.
On weekends, it is a favorite place of the Turks. If you don't like crowds, the best time is during the week.
I was here in the fall of 2022 and found myself there again in May 23rd.
The price of an entrance ticket has jumped as much as 4 times. Perhaps this is the only disadvantage.
ps: this time, we found an ancient neck from an earthenware jug on the beach. They admired and left a piece of history on the stone.
The place is beautiful, the nature is amazing, but the man ruined everything. There is a lot of garbage. The Turks are pumping money and all they have done is put a couple of large garbage cans near the sea and at the exit. Admission is 10 euros per person. Moreover, the car has exactly the same cost. A very sad attitude....
My favorite place in the vicinity of Kemer! We came here for free from the Tekirova Shell gas station. I've been here 2 times, the first time in 2017 on a ship, the second this summer. An unforgettable atmosphere of antiquity!
Admission is paid. You can enter the museum with a card. One of the pearls of Antalya.the sea in the first parking lot is rocky and gravel.you can go through the forest and go to the beach.this is a place of sand and not too deep, a place of complete pleasure, one of the warmest seas on this coastline. The ancient city is perfect at the moment, excavation works and arrangements are continuing. As you dig, history gushes out..summer is beautiful separately, winter is beautiful separately.
The park itself is great, but everything is spoiled by a large number of swimmers and sunbathers, as if we are not in a historical place, but just on a city beach (
The ancient city is located on a picturesque peninsula, the ruins of the theater, agora, Roman baths, aqueduct are very romantic, admission is 10 euros, only lira is accepted, keep this in mind
Admission in 2024 has risen in price - 10 euros per person. They paid in lira, but the price was indicated in euros (apparently, now they accept not only lira). From Chamyuva, you can take the A08 minibus for 35 liras.
In my opinion, such an entry price is not very justified. There are ruins of an ancient city, of which the aqueduct and the theater are well preserved. Well, some bas-reliefs on some interior details. There are also several picturesque coves.
Judging by the OSM maps, you can get here for free on foot from Chamyuva past the main checkpoint, but I haven't tried.
An interesting and beautiful place.
Definitely worth a visit if possible
There was not enough information about each building. What it looked like, when and how it was used, etc.
We went from the Phaselis Rose Club hotel (Tekirova) by bus (stops right at the hotel. 30 liras for 1 person. It takes you to the ticket sales point. They accept only lira and euros.!!! The ticket price is 350 liras for 1 person!!!!We had dollars, we waited for 3 buses to exchange them - it didn't work out. We used the downloaded Yandex maps and got to the ruins for free. The road is normal, the only thing I had to climb up and down the mountain (in sneakers, no problems at all). It is part of the Lycian Trail. On the way, we saw turtles, a lizard and fished crabs in the bay. I consider 1000 rubles for viewing the ruins to be an inflated price. But the natural attractions are just great: pine trees, mountains, beach - fine sand. Date of visit May 2024
Bus number 8 runs from Kemer, costs 30 lira. The entrance to the museum is 220 lire. Interesting, beautiful. Nearby beaches. The water is warmer on them than in Kemer. Tourists are taken there on boats to swim. There are few people, the beaches are not equipped. It's good to go here for the whole day, grabbing a snack. Locals come with their tables and chairs for picnics.
The incredible beauty of the city is located in a gorgeous picturesque bay. Currently, the entrance costs 220 lira, which is 880 rubles at the time. We got from Kemer on our own on a regular bus, only they told us the Facelis and they pointed out to us which one to get on, like 108, not exactly. It takes 20-30 minutes to drive, the fare is 30 lira, 120 rubles. They accept lira, dollars on the bus, no difference. The bus takes you directly to the ticket office, then you need to walk 500 meters to the beginning of the city. There are several beaches, there is even a shower on the Far beach, there is an open-air cafe. There are remnants of buildings, streets, an aqueduct, an arena (theater), and everything is very colorful. I recommend.

It makes sense to visit only as part of a walk along the Lycian trail from Paradise Bay without paying 10 euros at the entrance. The views to Phaselis are simply gorgeous, though I can't imagine how people walk in the season, well, it's very hot in the open sun.
As of November 2024, little is available, reconstruction is underway, dust is everywhere. The main street of Phaselis is closed. You can see part of the baths, the amphitheater, the aqueduct.

Admission is 10 euros per person! Everything else is a matter of taste and preferences. Three bays surrounded by relict pines. They are trying to make the ancient ruins look presentable, so that they can then take 50 euros from the nose)) for residents, the price is much lower, so there are more of them here than tourists. Locals have picnics here and swim in one of the bays. You can get around all the ‘sights’ in half an hour, since nothing particularly catches the eye. The characteristic monotony of the ruins is typical and does not differ in anything special or unique for the Turkish coast.
Today we decided to go to the ancient city on our own. We took the 08 bus from Tekirov and drove off.
The place is beautiful, but I do not recommend going there by gravity. We need a tour, information about this place.
As it is , it 's just the ruins of the ancient world .climbing them in the heat , that 's it ...for an amateur.
Personally, I didn't feel any excitement. Therefore, take excursions where the guide will tell you in detail about this place.
Everything is fine, except for the entrance, 10€ , quite expensive. You will see the remains of an ancient city, a turquoise sea, a dangerous stone entrance. If we take into account the entire coast, then there are more worthy places. If you are nearby, then visit
Unfortunately, we were unable to see the sights. On the website, the entrance price is indicated in euros, but they sell only in lira. They did not find an exchanger of any kind.
We were in August 2024. I recommend going there early in the morning on weekdays, while there are not many people. Set aside 1.5 hours for sightseeing. And then swim in one of the bays. The entrance fee is 10 euros. But the payment is only in lira. You can pay with an UP or Letim card.
Phaselis is quite worthy of 4-5 stars as an ancient city and an excavation site. There is nothing much to see, but the opportunity to touch the antiquity is unique.
The problem is that Phaselis, in addition, is also a nature reserve and a recreation area with a very (very, very!) a high price for admission. For this price you will get 6 toilet cubicles, and 6 changing booths, plus 2-3 kiosks with food and drinks. They don't know what it means to "clean up garbage", "organize parking", "maintain cleanliness and order" here at all. And you're sitting in some kind of wilderness, I can't even compare with the "wild" beaches - rather with some dysfunctional streets of the most depressing cities, and for your money you're shoveling garbage to enjoy the beauty of the ruins, or the view of the bay, or swimming in the lagoon.
It's creepy
The undeservedly high price for a ticket is 170 lira, a huge territory with several zones of remnants of an ancient civilization, most of it is fenced, work is underway there, excavations are underway somewhere, fortification is likely somewhere, if you walk, it is quite difficult in the terrible heat to walk 2-3 km from the ticket office to the ruins on an open road without shade, several picturesque coves in the rocks, but the far one is a rather long shallow approach over large stones in the water, not very comfortable, but then just sand, beautiful views with mountains and yachts, if you have the strength left, you can walk along the Lycian trail, there is another bay on the left with a cliff
If history was difficult at school, if there is no understanding about the work of archaeologists, if there is no imagination and spatial thinking, if beer in the bar is more interesting, then it is definitely not worth wasting time on Phaselis.
We arrived on the 8th route from Chamyuva, walked from the gate. We like to walk-wander, next along the Lycian trail I will get to the excavations.
Beautiful views, a centuries-old history unearthed, everything is available, reach out, touch, freeze and imagine how it once was here! Wander along the paths between the houses, climb the amphitheater, look around from the bays. If you are looking for paradise on earth, then it is on the Mediterranean coast
It's better not to go on weekends, there are a lot of locals on vacation.
Excavations are underway, there is a lot of equipment on the territory.
Admission is free for Turkish citizens
Tourists 180-220 liras😁
Beautiful, clean sea, beautiful view of Takhtaly😍
It is very beautiful, a significant historical place! I recommend it to everyone! But definitely with a guided tour! It will be more interesting this way!
There are two ways to get here: by bus 8 from Kemer, which will take you to the entrance, where you will pay 220 lira for an entrance ticket, or walk along the Lycian trail from the village of Chambva, with fabulous landscapes and deserted sea coves. In the second case, you will not have to pay for the entrance to Phaselis) The historical complex itself is very impressive, and the nature and the sea around are amazing.
A great place to relax with the whole family. There are hiking trails, a great sandy beach, clean water.

I definitely recommend visiting this place, nature, a photo for memory, it distracts well when you get tired of the beach, you couldn't reach Phaselis because you were in uncomfortable shoes (I recommend comfortable shoes), but we had enough of the trail itself, a great walk, but we need to be ready to climb uphill and from the mountain))
We came in from Paradise Bay, on the right side of the bay itself, there is a "hole in the fence" :) in one of the photos, a red dot, this is the place where the "hole" in the fence:)
The entrance cost 220 lire, and how many emotions! I liked all these ancient, antique buildings, ruins, fortresses, baths and even the amphitheater very much. There is even a beach with sand, it's really very shallow, but there are no waves (very cool with small children). You can take a very good walk, if you have time, be sure to come!
A beautiful place with the purest sea and an ancient city in the pines! From Kemer about half an hour by bus. Of the minuses, there is only one cafe in the park with a meager selection of food. If you go for the whole day, it's better to take food with you.
The so-called museum is not a museum at all. This is an office for collecting 220 lire for visitors. In fact, this is a shop that has captured the beach. Nothing corresponds to the museum. There are no excursions. But there is a grub. There are no plaques near any of the exhibits. The ancient ruins are in terrible condition, no one takes care of them. Scientific approach - 0. Trees destroy old walls. There are no shore fortifications to protect the ruins. Turks creatively break out pebbles and creatively combine different designs from them. Part of the pebble is dragged into the swamp of the "museum complex". Upstairs in the aristocratic part there are a few pathetic stones, which they proudly call either a palace or a fortress. Access to a significant part of the structures is impossible, only through thorns and steep slopes. The territory is polluted with garbage.
In general, everything is so sad that my heart breaks.
Do not go, do not encourage greedy stupid merchants finishing off the old city.
A very interesting place, we took a leisurely walk, took pictures, and the children were also interested. After a walk, you can swim on one of the beaches (there are several). We chose the one closest to the parking lot, there were the least people.
