The rooms are beautiful, clean, but without frills, especially comfortable - a bed and a shower. The hotel is very quiet, but sometimes there is music in the bar 2 houses away. We had dinner at the hotel and ordered in 20-30 minutes. The Internet in the room on the 1st floor is 4 out of 5. The air conditioner is a little noisy. The breakfasts are pleasant, and so is the staff. The beach is uncomfortable and with muddy water - you can walk to the neighboring area. And it's even better to swim to the island (to go to the port 2.2 km through the mountain, not to go straight to the port. Tuktuks don't come here. There is a type of mini kitchen at the entrance- a sink, an extractor hood (working) and a countertop. There are no dishes. A large refrigerator.
Air conditioning is normal.
Everyone writes about modest breakfasts. All right. It's always the same: scrambled eggs, toast, rice, sausages, something similar to ham, cucumber, tomato, lettuce, cabbage. Sauces, jam, tea, coffee.
In principle, it's normal for me, we don't stay in a hotel)).

We rested for the second time in this hotel, in October 2024. The hotel itself is good, there is a swimming pool and everything is nearby, but the problem, like the first time, was the dogs that start barking in the morning and wake everyone up, no matter what room you live in. My wife said that we would not go to this hotel anymore, we would look for something else, in a quieter place. Depending on the rest of the reviews, this is really a problem. We will also leave a recommendation at the agency not to offer this hotel.

I stayed at the hotel from 12/14/14 to 01/06/15.
Cons:
1. 300 - 600 baht is required for the passage of any guest, depending on the time of day. It doesn't matter who it will be, friends or girls of the most ancient profession. At the same time, they did not provide any service: they did not give any water, no towels, no bathrobe, and nothing.
2. The staff is not ready for dialogue when it comes to their money. If you owe something to the hotel and have not paid within 24 hours, then you simply will not be allowed into your room. And they won't communicate with you until you pay as much as they say.

3. A huge number of dogs at the hotel. If you are traveling on foot, then be prepared that a pack of dogs may attack you.
4. The hotel had empty rooms when checking in, but if you want to check in before 2 p.m., it will cost 200 baht per hour.
5. The cost of the hotel is 100k rubles for 23 days, about 4k rubles a day is expensive. Considering that the cost of a condo near the hotel, for long-term rentals, costs 30k rubles per month.

As for Volkin Street, it's a 25-minute walk, as well as to the pier, from which you can sail for 30 baht to the skeleton with clear turquoise water. A 20-minute walk to the Buddha and a 10-minute walk to the observation deck (this is, of course, a beauty). We did not rent a scooter, because hiking is just a joy for my husband and me. And, honestly, I was IN FAVOR of hiking. We walked, enjoyed the sun and the air. We took a taxi to Jomtien (for the sake of interest, to see how the coast has changed in 3 years, when we were last there). In general, the hotel is wonderful.
