My great-grandfathers lived in this place. When there was still an Archyreev Alley (now there is a small part of it near the orphanage, the Germans at the beginning of the war took cows from the local population and dried their skins on these lime trees.The master's garden from the highway to the lake, somehow counted, there were about thirty trees left, old ones covered with moss, but all bearing fruit. In autumn, Pan invited local peasants to pick apples. He paid every day, fed at lunch, and at the end of the day he was allowed to take home a basket of apples. My grandmother told me that she earned a lot of money by working in the garden. There was a mill on the site of the boat station. THIS IS OUR FATHERLAND! I live near Surganova Street, where my uncles and aunts lived at home.
