A beautiful and very harmonious place. Buildings and structures do not overhang the square and do not litter the space. A good architectural design of urban space. In the evening, high-quality lighting, quiet music and a warm atmosphere of hospitable Batumi. You can take shelter from the weather under canopies. Everyone is friendly and competent... It's a great place.
A special atmosphere. It is very beautiful and pleasant to be there. The architecture is fascinating. You can just sit in your thoughts, or you can eat in a cafe, right on the square, which is also interesting.
Definitely worth a visit. An incredible place, cozy, beautiful and modern. The photos turn out just fine. I was there in cloudy weather and on a sunny day. It's beautiful in different ways!
Beautiful Italian-style square. It was built in 2009. A hotel with very good prices. The center of old Batumi. I recommend it! It is better to book rooms one month before the trip during the season. We were on New Year's Eve 2024/25. A room for two for a week cost about 35 thousand rubles.
The place is amazing, the view is mesmerizing! Live music plays in the evenings, which makes this place even more romantic and magical!
I recommend that you definitely visit the Square in the evening.♥️
Piazza Square is a kind of landmark in the old part of Batumi. A beautiful place where there are hotels, restaurants, coffee shops. On warm days, you can sit on the square with a cup of coffee, listen to the chimes. Just sit and watch the passers-by.
So , a nice place . Many waiters do not always go to the meeting. There is no physical menu, only the cure codes. And if you don't have the Internet or your phone is dead... then alas and ah - these are your problems ...
without exaggeration, the place is overrated.
The cuisine is mediocre, high-quality products, but about the service, no, we have not heard... A regular butter knife goes with the steak... if you ask, the bartender can share... The portions are huge, but alas not as tasty as we would like...
A separate story is about the artists performing on stage. He can turn on the sound like he's the only one who gets high... The evening program may be interrupted by a call from the minor key and then the musician also goes to prayer... (at least that's how it was the night we got there.).
You can go take pictures, have a cup of coffee, but you can eat in other more pleasant places..
I do not recommend it, but I do not dissuade either...
The price tag is pretty high...
Piazza Square, an atmospheric place, looks like a European city. There are a lot of tourists, tables are available to sit. The largest mosaic floor in Europe! The kitchen is light, for delicious dishes you need to go somewhere else.
A great place for photos in Batumi. Just like in Venice. It is very convenient to call a taxi here. There are a lot of tourists. There are many shops nearby. There is a Christmas tree here for the New Year.
Great place! Walking through the streets of the old town, we came to the Piazza. The square is very interesting, as if you were in Venice ... you couldn't help but sit in this extraordinary courtyard, surrounded as if by Venetian palaces. There are many cafes inside and all are very decent, we chose Georgian. I liked everything very much: snacks, grilled meat, and, of course, Georgian dry red (the waiter advised). The service is fast, the kitchen is super!
The Square itself is a work of architectural art! I definitely recommend you to visit.
The photo turned out to be much worse than it is in reality!
A nice and beautiful place to walk in Batumi. It is very colorful and interesting. The cuisine is delicious, the prices are about the same as in other cafes in the city.
We visited Georgia in August. Seven unforgettable days in Batumi. I went to the Piazza. Nicely. I like the combination of modern and old in this city. Cozy streets, I want to walk and walk along them. Cute cafes where we went to try something from Georgian cuisine. Aura Georgia is very memorable. For a long time I could not move away from the desire to swim in the sea, walk along the coastal paths, look at non-stale goods laid out for sale on benches, listen to music, they immediately turned on Kairat Nurtas, apparently a man knows how to distinguish us, Kazakhs)))). He said that he likes our people, and we like your culture, your people. Thank you. I hope to go again...
A wonderful, beautiful place, with live music, in general, Batumi is a fairy tale and wonderful people, not like in Tbilisi, although in Tbilisi we only met 2 oddities in 5 days of rest who advised us to learn Georgian, the remaining 98% (if it's young people, the adult generation speaks Russian wonderfully), communicated a little bit in Russian, we speak a little bit in Georgian, in English, and no one has canceled the sign language. We felt very good in this country, more sincere than in another European place (we are our own anyway!).
On the market, they accidentally called lari rubles, Tetri kopecks, we were corrected, make no mistake - they are offended!
It is a very beautiful, but small place, there are several establishments on the territory, you can look in and take a couple of good photos, clean and cozy.
It is a very atmospheric place, in the evening you can have dinner with live performances of musicians! The food was not particularly impressive, but here you eat "spiritually"!)👍
Definitely worth a visit)
Listen to live music and drink a glass in the open air,
The menu is in electronic form, there are waiters)
The food is mediocre, cooked quickly, carried for a long time if fully planted.
The toilet is paid.
I recommend it, It's great
A beautiful place in the old district of Batumi, live saxophone music plays in the evenings, as well as groups of musicians, people dance, everything is very beautiful!!!
One of the central squares!
It looks very beautiful. In summer, live music is played every evening.
The overall impression is slightly spoiled by the quality of food and service in the establishments on the square.
A great place to relax and stay. Comfortable rooms. Three restaurants, everything is very tasty. Live music from 17:00-23:00. The breakfasts are hearty, delicious khachapuri and lobiani. Recommend👌🏻
You can relax in the evening. Prices are above average. When served by good waiters, everything is not bad. Live music almost every evening. After that, they turn on pleasant jazz.
A beautiful, atmospheric place. You can sit at the tables. Delicious coffee. Live music in the evenings. A beautiful clock with figures in the gate.
We definitely come here when we visit Batumi
Getting to this square, you find yourself as if in a fairy tale, everything is shrouded in legends), live music, a clock and a turret, atmospheric establishments and friendly people who we met
It is a purely tourist place. It's worth a look for a few photos and no more. There is no special soul in this place, which cannot be said about the cozy streets and small cafes along the way. A better solution would be the path to this place than the place itself.
Around the square there are elegant buildings with arches and columns, decorated with mosaics and frescoes. These architectural elements give the square a special charm, recalling the rich cultural heritage of Batumi. In the center of the square stands the clock tower, which has become one of the iconic sights of the city.
Generally super. How I visited Italy. There is a stage on the square, and there was a live performance by the artists. There are cafes and tables around the perimeter of the square
An atmospheric place of Batumi. The square is surrounded by hotel buildings, so it is practically closed from the wind. It's very similar to Italy. This is the main idea. Several cafes. A stage for musicians to perform. A screen for broadcasting sports matches. There are few parking spaces. Nearby there are souvenir shops and the Church of St.Nicholas.
I was in Italy, compared it, yes, it's a bit similar. It's a nice place. Lots of cafes. A tourist point to visit. Architecture in style. Music, coffee, shade!)
A nice place with a claim to memories of Piazza San Marco. Take a look at.for an hour, have a cup of coffee or a glass of Georgian wine, chat with new friends and continue walking around old Batumi. A pleasant page in the knowledge of the city.
A very beautiful place in Batumi. In the evenings, almost all the places are packed, there is a tower nearby and bells rang every 15 minutes. There is music and a lot of people dancing. The waiters are polite (if anything, note that their uniforms differ in different colors, and one half of the waiters fall on half of the square, and the other half of the waiters on the other side of the square)
A beautiful and clean place.
A large number of different nafes for every taste and purse.
Live music is played here in the evenings. You can even dance!
It's a nice square, but I liked the angel fountain the most. This place clearly has the properties to inspire romantic fantasies! Being single, I did not miss the opportunity to try the water from this fountain))) The impressions of the visit were funny and I hope that the angel with arrows will soon play his role!
You can imagine after a few glasses of beer, hookah or wine that you are in the square of Italy or Venice)) A good location for evening relaxation, dancing and live music in summer
I liked the musical and dance design of the evenings spent in the wonderful atmosphere of the restaurant. All this together with the traditional cuisine of the restaurant made it possible to enjoy its visit. I recommend visiting it and enjoying the southern flavor and atmosphere.
A beautiful square! There are also cafes where you can have a delicious meal, sit and enjoy the views. Or you can just take a walk. This is possible in March)
A must-visit, a great place with live music in the evenings and pleasant cuisine)
There is a broadcast of sports events👍👍👍
Everything is very tasty, a large selection of dishes and drinks)
