Great viewing room!
We'll go up fast enough with beautiful views
But one thing!
Part of the way you fly over the cemetery
Payment by credit card
You can get there as part of an excursion, or better by yourself on the T5 tram.
A trip along Nabezhnaya
I went up on the cable car. I walked back through the cemetery
There is a cafe on the observation deck
I don't know the prices, but you can definitely drink tea, sit at a table with the best view in Istanbul
Pierre Loti Hill is one of the most famous viewing platforms in the Eyup area of Istanbul. It is named after the French writer Pierre Loti, who lived in the Ottoman Empire at the end of the 19th century and was fascinated by the beauty of the city.
Pierre Loti has written several books about his life in Turkey, including the novel "Asiyade", in which he described his love for the country and its culture. His works helped popularize Turkey among Europeans, and many tourists come here to see the places described in his books.
After reading all this and seeing this hill as a point on the route of most excursions, we went here. We chose the optimal route, in our opinion: we took a taxi to the upper station, walked upstairs, went downstairs and left for the historical center by boat. To be honest, it's up to you to decide whether it's worth going here on purpose. The view is beautiful, of course. But it is also in the center of Istanbul, and most of the restaurants are no less (and often even more) luxurious. The observation deck and cafe are adjacent to the cemetery. If you choose the option to walk up to the observation deck on foot, go through the cemetery. In general, I don't know, it's a strange place for me.
There are two cabins on the cable car, it's better to get into the first one (the overview is better)…
A good place for a sightseeing tour. The main sights of Istanbul are visible: Sulaimaniyah, Blue Mosque (SultanAhmet), Hagia Sophia, Galata Tower, etc.
A very beautiful fork opens from there. The only thing that bothers is that there are graves at the bottom. There is a cafe where you can sit and enjoy the beautiful view of the city.
The view is good, but…
The 3-minute walk over the graves
The cable car passes over the cemetery
There is a cafe, toilet, souvenir shop upstairs.
You can get there by ferry or tram.
