Should not go the restaurant.
We ordered 800gram lamb meat “Kuurdak” then they served huge femur bone and over fried small and hard meat.
Very much difference with picture.
And most sad issue was every employee was take dinner and watch us and lough and talk.
It was terrible experience that's ever in Uzbekistan.
They should shame it.
We stopped for a snack on 03.01.2025, hoping to try the delicious local pilaf. We ordered three servings, manti and samsa, tea and beer. There was very little meat in the dishes, mostly fat and veins. We asked to change the pilaf, the waiter replied that it was leftovers (!), so there was more fat, although the portions of pilaf that were served after us at the neighboring tables looked better when filled with meat. After my husband got a bug in his pilaf (!), I didn't feel like eating at all. The hostess, or the manager, of the establishment apologized and agreed that we would only pay for the beer.
Not a bad place. Comfortably. It's hospitable. After a long walk around Samarkand, we stopped for dinner. The menu is modest, but tasty and not expensive. We were even allowed to connect to WiFi. Special thanks for that.
Very tasty. But! Arrive no later than 12:15 - 12-30. Later, there will be no mutton. And from 13:15 - 13:30 they can put up a sign saying "there is no pilaf." Take the supplements (they bring a large dish with salads and other pleasant additions to the pilaf). They are not expensive. Remember that 8000 is less than 70 rubles :)
In addition, there is a bowl with ayran in which a cucumber is finely chopped. He drank straight from the bowl. That's really not to come off and drink the pilaf delicious! Tea is at the end... Magic baklava for tea.
Have a nice.
By the way, my wife and I have been to Tashkent, Samarkand, and Bukhara for 11 days.
The best pilaf is here!
Of course, the level here is more of a dining room than a cafe. We ate the pilaf, it was delicious. But the service, of course, is lame. And the restroom, it's generally trash... Behind the screen you go to the toilet, along a mini corridor with artificial flowers, incomprehensibly old or with a layer of dust that won't wash off.., the door to the toilet is smeared with paint so that it doesn't shine through... !! It is necessary to think over the cafe above the restroom, and make it cozy and clean.
It's a great place. We came here to eat as soon as we arrived. The atmosphere is what you need, the dishes are very tasty. Pickles are a separate respect, just a bomb. Thanks!
Friendly service, fast food delivery, inexpensive. The interior is very so-so. And, unfortunately, the pilaf itself upset me a little here. It has nothing to do with the pilaf, which can be enjoyed in many establishments in Uzbekistan.
The pilaf tastes good, the staff is friendly, and the prices are affordable. Everything is a little tired inside. In general, the interior is cool, national.
Very tasty pilaf and shish kebab! And a hospitable place! We had a great lunch, the portions are huge, I didn't want to have dinner later)) It is conveniently located on the way to visit the sights. Visited in April 2024. Thanks to all the employees of the Pilaf Center!
Almost the only place that was open on January 1. Hungry and cold in search of food, we found this place, ate delicious pilaf with salad and drank tea. The establishment specializes in cooking pilaf, so it's definitely worth stopping by for a quick and delicious meal.
Disgusting. The pilaf was "cooked" in 3 minutes. It is clear that they warmed up, but it was like yesterday's portion. The rice is already dried. They threw a piece of tasteless beef on top, they didn't even cut it up. Pilaf + tea 45 thousand. I was alone in the hall and there was a table where the owners/employees were sitting. And even so, I counted on myself. Judging by the reaction, the guys didn't expect anyone to come today at all, now I understand why. I do not advise you guys to take a walk further, it will be delicious and safe somewhere.

This is the most colorful food place I've been to in Uzbekistan! Here, of course, pilaf is cooked very tasty, everything is done in an open kitchen in large vats that are heated with polka wood, the buns are also very tasty, the dough of the buns is already yellow, everything is under my grandmother's childhood. Although a lot of people visit this place, the service is very fast, everything is very cool, I really liked it
The cafe does not look very good, but it is delicious, the menu is not bad, pilaf is made not only until 13:00, as in other places - they think about tourists, nimble and adequate waiters, pilaf came to me and my wife
In general, it makes sense to visit. The traffic is great, everything is fresh. There are a lot of waiters, they waited 5-7 minutes. The price is affordable. Flatbread + kettle.salad. satisfying.delicious. interestingly, you can see their huge vats). You have to go past the vats to the toilet. Its own flavor)))
A good cafe, delicious food, large portions.
There are tables both on the street and inside the cafe , they work until 0:00 , which is very convenient , we traveled all over Samarkand in search of an extensive menu at a later time, the staff is friendly, the food is served quickly. I recommend it!!!

Great place! We walked around the city all day, got cold, hungry, and stumbled upon this place. The food is delicious, warm, cozy, the prices are comfortable, the staff is very friendly. You can eat and have a good time. The only thing confused the toilet, but you can survive
Well, how to say it. On 4-. There is something to compare it with. Prices are more expensive than in similar ones.
We took shurpa, pilaf, and manti.
There are a lot of onions in mantas. Pilaf is low on meat. Shurpa - in addition to meat, horns and hooves, as they say.
The pilaf is so-so, it seems that the rice and ingredients were prepared separately. Nothing. A TV with Russian music videos is blaring from the ceiling - don't expect an atmosphere either. The menu is sparse. The waiters are slow, and 10% is forcibly credited to the bill for this "service."
We arrived at about 18:00, just "opened" the pilaf. It turned out to be very tasty!
In addition, they took samsa, shurpa and fresh vegetables. And locally produced beer. The service is very fast.
All together with the service cost 210 thousand soums (about 1.5 thousand rubles).
If you do not find fault with the interior, but come for delicious food, then the place is worth a visit
It's horrible. The pilaf is tasteless, the rice is unsuitable, the tea is cloudy. The staff is unpleasant. I read a lot of good reviews, we came here for lunch. Terribly
The soup in the pot smells so strongly of laurel that it is impossible to eat. Cutlets are bread with a lump of raw minced meat. Horror, horror, horror.
A great place near the main attractions of Samarkand! Orders are delivered quickly. The prices are very pleasant for a cafe with this location. Pilaf and lagman were wonderful!
It was 07.12.24. We took lagman, two types of barbecue, tea, flatbread. A flatbread is a raw dough. Lagman is a fat, empty broth. The noodles in it are tolerable. Lamb kebab is a small portion of stringy meat (half a portion is shown in the photo). Lyulya, you can eat. This canteen ruined all the vacation experiences.
An ordinary cafe.
We ordered pilaf and manta rays.
The pilaf consisted of coarse rice, boiled carrots on top, abundantly poured with oil and two dry small pieces of meat.
Manta rays are generally terrible, flat, blurred circles, inside pieces of meat with cartilage of an incomprehensible taste. Two hours later, she began to fight poisoning.
An ordinary cafe with a "big name", not really related to the Center of pilaf.
Hot serving takes 10-15 minutes, the prices are average.
The portions are normal in volume.
The pilaf itself tastes like 4 cups (and not quite "in Samarkand (rice is not dark)).
Manta rays are delicious
Lagman for 3 minutes (even seemed slightly sour).
As for me personally, nothing outstanding.
If you choose a place for your first acquaintance with pilaf, it is better to pass by.
Pilaf for 3/5 hard rice, there was little meat (
The rest is generally ok

Pilaf for 3 (little meat and fat, lots of carrots, not very good in appearance) tastes average.
Shish kebab lamb for 2- lots of fat and ribs (70%) meat 30%
The cradle for 4 is a little salty (we didn't plan to order, the waiter said). 2 kebabs)
A 10,000 sou flatbread is expensive for such a cafe and not hot
The service is 10% in the final bill, it is not mentioned anywhere (in other cafes they write about it in the menu)
The toilet is sad, without a mirror.
The atmosphere from the 90s is kind of colorful, but sloppy, dust on the walls, dirty.
I strongly advise against it
I ordered a shurpa - they brought soup with a layer of fat on top of half a centimeter, do not chew the meat at all, it is not suitable for soup at all (probably the cheapest)
I liked both pilaf and lagman. Portions per person. An institution in the national style. We were sitting in an air-conditioned room and it was very hot outside. The pilaf is here. They cook 2 times, in the evening, they say, there is also. I recommend.
It's a terrible place! It's not delicious. The worst place of which we were in Uzbekistan and the most expensive. There were feces floating in the toilet and it smelled very strongly of urine.
Awful.
The pilaf is not tasty, the cheapest and smallest rice, dirty and lack of repair, high prices for an establishment of this level. Complete disappointment.
The location is good, the advantages end there.
The pilaf is tasteless, the portions are small, there are much tastier and more nearby. In addition, you cannot pay with Visa or Mir cards, only with cash or local cards.
this is not a pilaf center, but an ordinary cafe, 3 balls due to deception... as a cafe is not bad, everything is delicious, but there is only 1 pilaf on the menu...
The food is very poor.
Instead of meat, fat, bones and cartilage are put in the lagman.
There was a piece of potato, carrot and something else indeterminately similar to a bone in the shurp.
The kebab is microscopic, rubbery, hard and also made from leftover meat.
Liquid tea seemed to be brewed in one bag in twenty liters of water.
It is better not to go into the bathroom at all.
The overall situation is terrible, everything is done on the knee and without any thought.
It's better to eat tortillas outside
Expensive and substandard. I took the pilaf, it was ripe. Prices are like in normal restaurants. Almost half of the menu is not available. Wouldn't come again(
My husband liked the pilaf, but Samarkand kind of should be with quail egg, not ordinary and with dark rice.
Tea-water with water:(
We also thought that this institution would specialize in different types of pilaf (as the name suggests), but there is only one here)
According to the decor, there is nothing substantial and sincere.
The prices are more than affordable.
Tea with lemon is not tea, but water with lemon ((( it turned out that this is such a Samarkand tea. Therefore, in order to taste the tea, you need to ask for more tea leaves.
Pilaf: rice is not very good, but the meat is very tasty and soft.
The service is fast and the waiters are polite. It is suitable for a quick snack.
We looked at the reviews and decided to go in for dinner. We ordered pilaf and lagman. The pilaf is normal, but the lagman turned out to be sour and spoiled. To which there was an explanation that spices were unusual for us in lagman. Definitely, these are not spices, but spoiled lagman. We were offered to replace it with another lagman (a good one)🤦♀️. Be careful, otherwise, after eating at this cafe, you can spoil your vacation.
A very sincere restaurant, delicious pilaf, hospitable staff, good music, portions are large and not expensive.

A very nice place with a national flavor.
A varied menu.
Located near Registan (go straight left)
Fast serving of dishes.
I especially liked manti and pilaf.
It is very tasty, Samarkand pilaf is an incredible dish. The peculiarity is that carrots, meat and zervak are served separately on a platter. The portions are large, one for two eyes.
