Taste of pilaf was ordinary like I cooked at home.

Should not go the restaurant.
We ordered 800gram lamb meat “Kuurdak” then they served huge femur bone and over fried small and hard meat.
Very much difference with picture.
And most sad issue was every employee was take dinner and watch us and lough and talk.
It was terrible experience that's ever in Uzbekistan.
They should shame it.
Everything was very fast, delicious, and varied. Nice interior, caring staff, pleasant atmosphere. The pilaf is delicious, typical Samarkand, but...there is only one type - with beef. But I really wanted mutton, so I had to look elsewhere later. This is not a negative, of course, but something to keep in mind when going there.
We visited the Swim Center in March 2025. The interior is simple, but in the national style. But the prices are very affordable. We ordered lagman, pilaf and samsa. Everything is very tasty and inexpensive. We regretted that we didn't come here earlier. We definitely recommend it!!!!
The pilaf is very tasty and satisfying, the manti are perfectly made. The staff is friendly and courteous. The prices are reasonable (pilaf cost 40,000 Uzbek soums, manti 10,000 soums apiece). Come on in, you'll like it.
Great place! We have been here several times, very friendly hosts and staff!👍 The food is delicious, we tried pilaf, shish kebab, salad of fresh vegetables - everything is delicious, tomatoes are good, not plastic👌 Plus there is draft local beer!, I recommend the establishment!
Everything is fine. Most importantly, everything is delicious! We were here more than 2 years ago and came now, we were not disappointed. The price is according to the price list, no extra charges on top, as happens in other establishments. Very nice people work in this place. Delicious)
Very tasty pilaf. We came here before a walk in Samarkand and were not mistaken. The guys are sincere and the prices are good. Compared to the restaurants in the center, the food here is much tastier. The photos speak for themselves - they ate every last piece of rice.
We stopped for a snack on 03.01.2025, hoping to try the delicious local pilaf. We ordered three servings, manti and samsa, tea and beer. There was very little meat in the dishes, mostly fat and veins. We asked to change the pilaf, the waiter replied that it was leftovers (!), so there was more fat, although the portions of pilaf that were served after us at the neighboring tables looked better when filled with meat. After my husband got a bug in his pilaf (!), I didn't feel like eating at all. The hostess, or the manager, of the establishment apologized and agreed that we would only pay for the beer.
Just an explosion of flavors!
Excellent, delicious pilaf!
Fragrant, satisfying, and beautiful!
They cook in huge Cossacks, it's hard to convey the taste)
I really liked it, great place!
Not a bad place. Comfortably. It's hospitable. After a long walk around Samarkand, we stopped for dinner. The menu is modest, but tasty and not expensive. We were even allowed to connect to WiFi. Special thanks for that.
It's a great place. Very tasty food, pleasant host, who told a lot about the local cuisine, gave tips on places in Uzbekistan.
Great atmosphere and good prices
We ate here several times because we lived nearby, and manti and shish kebab were very tasty.
Inexpensive and very tasty, there is an opportunity to sit outside and inside the cafe.
At first glance, it may seem like some kind of eatery, but this is a cafe with a historical flavor and interior! The pilaf there is very tasty, and the lamb kebab. The dishes are served quickly, pilaf in 5 minutes and shish kebab will be shown to you first and then cooked for 20 minutes. We spent only about 3t.p. on 3 people with wine (you can taste it). I recommend it.
Very tasty. But! Arrive no later than 12:15 - 12-30. Later, there will be no mutton. And from 13:15 - 13:30 they can put up a sign saying "there is no pilaf." Take the supplements (they bring a large dish with salads and other pleasant additions to the pilaf). They are not expensive. Remember that 8000 is less than 70 rubles :)
In addition, there is a bowl with ayran in which a cucumber is finely chopped. He drank straight from the bowl. That's really not to come off and drink the pilaf delicious! Tea is at the end... Magic baklava for tea.
Have a nice.
By the way, my wife and I have been to Tashkent, Samarkand, and Bukhara for 11 days.
The best pilaf is here!
A simple home cafe. Low prices. Pilaf, manti, delicious. Mint tea, just like at home. Pleasant service. Cute pet parrot corella Kesha. Only the bathroom spoils the impression and asks for repairs.
Great place! Very friendly staff, I would like to come back. Pilaf is very tasty, if you take it for two, take it in one dish, it tastes twice as good. Good merlot and local beer
Disgusting food, pilaf is just a disgrace to all pilafs. We went through the reviews here, I don't understand who all these people who wrote the reviews are! It's a really disgusting empty diner! It should have been alerted by now that there were plenty of laudatory reviews, but there was no one, just one table. When I told the waiter that it was impossible to eat dry pilaf with dry meat and one pumpkin, the cook came out and started hitting on me. When I pointed to the plate where everything was left, the answer killed me. "Everything is delicious here!" Dear friends, all those who do not want to lose their money, impressions of Samarkand and national cuisine - do not come here! The reviews are most likely artificially inflated! I'm writing this as a warning post! It's up to you!
Everything is very tasty, you can lick your fingers. We ate samsa, lagman, manti and pilaf, ate enough and gave away only 132 thousand soums. Nice friendly guys work, we recommend
I walked into the Pilaf Center almost by accident, walking from the mausoleum of Tamerlane. I wanted to try Samarkand pilaf.
I took shurpa-4+ (the meat is a little harsh), ayran-5+, pilaf-5-(rice is aldente, but the hospitable waiter explained that this is exactly how it is prepared). The carrots in the pilaf are gorgeous!! The meat is soft.
Thanks for the treat!
Great cafe. The pilaf is very, very tasty, the most friendly staff, the atmosphere is very cozy, the location is convenient. I recommend it to everyone.
Almost the only place that was open on January 1. Hungry and cold in search of food, we found this place, ate delicious pilaf with salad and drank tea. The establishment specializes in cooking pilaf, so it's definitely worth stopping by for a quick and delicious meal.
We ate lamb shish kebab, lula kebab, pilaf. Everything is very tasty. But I especially remember lyulya's beef kebab. I recommend it to everyone. Also ask the chef to share the secrets of the marinade.

This is the most colorful food place I've been to in Uzbekistan! Here, of course, pilaf is cooked very tasty, everything is done in an open kitchen in large vats that are heated with polka wood, the buns are also very tasty, the dough of the buns is already yellow, everything is under my grandmother's childhood. Although a lot of people visit this place, the service is very fast, everything is very cool, I really liked it
The food is great!!! The pilaf is awesome!!! Cradles are just a song - juicy, sweet!!! A place where we have returned and will return again!!! Thanks!!!!!

Great place! We walked around the city all day, got cold, hungry, and stumbled upon this place. The food is delicious, warm, cozy, the prices are comfortable, the staff is very friendly. You can eat and have a good time. The only thing confused the toilet, but you can survive
Very tasty pilaf and shish kebab! And a hospitable place! We had a great lunch, the portions are huge, I didn't want to have dinner later)) It is conveniently located on the way to visit the sights. Visited in April 2024. Thanks to all the employees of the Pilaf Center!
Well, how to say it. On 4-. There is something to compare it with. Prices are more expensive than in similar ones.
We took shurpa, pilaf, and manti.
There are a lot of onions in mantas. Pilaf is low on meat. Shurpa - in addition to meat, horns and hooves, as they say.
In general, it makes sense to visit. The traffic is great, everything is fresh. There are a lot of waiters, they waited 5-7 minutes. The price is affordable. Flatbread + kettle.salad. satisfying.delicious. interestingly, you can see their huge vats). You have to go past the vats to the toilet. Its own flavor)))
The pilaf is so-so, it seems that the rice and ingredients were prepared separately. Nothing. A TV with Russian music videos is blaring from the ceiling - don't expect an atmosphere either. The menu is sparse. The waiters are slow, and 10% is forcibly credited to the bill for this "service."
Of course, the level here is more of a dining room than a cafe. We ate the pilaf, it was delicious. But the service, of course, is lame. And the restroom, it's generally trash... Behind the screen you go to the toilet, along a mini corridor with artificial flowers, incomprehensibly old or with a layer of dust that won't wash off.., the door to the toilet is smeared with paint so that it doesn't shine through... !! It is necessary to think over the cafe above the restroom, and make it cozy and clean.
A good cafe, delicious food, large portions.
There are tables both on the street and inside the cafe , they work until 0:00 , which is very convenient , we traveled all over Samarkand in search of an extensive menu at a later time, the staff is friendly, the food is served quickly. I recommend it!!!
Delicious, great food, lots of locals, which speaks to the quality. They bring a selection of additional snacks in the form of pickles, salads and the rest.
It's horrible. The pilaf is tasteless, the rice is unsuitable, the tea is cloudy. The staff is unpleasant. I read a lot of good reviews, we came here for lunch. Terribly
The soup in the pot smells so strongly of laurel that it is impossible to eat. Cutlets are bread with a lump of raw minced meat. Horror, horror, horror.
I do not recommend this place if you are a tourist and do not want to come and find out that it is closed.
P.S.
In the morning, a hungry, and therefore angry, visitor who has spent time and effort on the way to you, because the services indicate that you are working, will not give a good rating. Think about it...
This is not pilaf. Rice without spices with raisins, sweet potatoes on top. Instead of two quail eggs, one was laid. In Russian, this is called kutia. I would have set it to zero, but it turned out to be edible meat. This is not what you would expect from a pilaf in the center of Samarkand.
It's a great place. We came here to eat as soon as we arrived. The atmosphere is what you need, the dishes are very tasty. Pickles are a separate respect, just a bomb. Thanks!
The pilaf tastes good, the staff is friendly, and the prices are affordable. Everything is a little tired inside. In general, the interior is cool, national.
Well, to be honest, a diner on the road is very bad for the city center. A cafe was set up between the houses, the walls were painted, carpets were hung. I don't recommend going to the bathroom at all.. Pilaf for three. I don't recommend it.
Friendly service, fast food delivery, inexpensive. The interior is very so-so. And, unfortunately, the pilaf itself upset me a little here. It has nothing to do with the pilaf, which can be enjoyed in many establishments in Uzbekistan.
Okay thanks a lot for the delicious dishes of vegetables fruits mushrooms berries fruits vegetables and herbs parsley salt pepper black color black color white background for payment
It was 07.12.24. We took lagman, two types of barbecue, tea, flatbread. A flatbread is a raw dough. Lagman is a fat, empty broth. The noodles in it are tolerable. Lamb kebab is a small portion of stringy meat (half a portion is shown in the photo). Lyulya, you can eat. This canteen ruined all the vacation experiences.
The pilaf itself is very tasty, but the meat is very tough and dry, it is difficult to chew. For meat 3, for pilaf 5! The service was quick, the interior is authentic
They have the most delicious pilaf in the city.
We've had lunch there several times, and I'm thrilled.
I want to come to this institution again and again
The cafe does not look very good, but it is delicious, the menu is not bad, pilaf is made not only until 13:00, as in other places - they think about tourists, nimble and adequate waiters, pilaf came to me and my wife
