A very beautiful place, a bay, mountains, pines. There is a place to ride a bike, there is a walk, the sea is clear, dolphins.
The food is monotonous, natural, and satisfying. For some reason, there are no eggs-an omelet once a week.. No desserts for tea either. Plastic tableware. There are a lot of people. Why do they give out Big lunch noodles on a dry ration for a tour (
The rooms are cramped, the mattresses are sold without springs-one mattress for two, if one of you turns, the other jumps😃
There is no cleaning in the rooms, you run around, you ask to wipe the floors in the shower. Towels were also asked to be changed once.
Very early departure, if the flight is taken out in the morning for 6 hours, and the flight delay for 2 hours was 6 hours spent at the airport.. It's not far to go.
We had bad weather from the 10th-one day, the rest of the days were 27, we swam on the 3rd day. The water is clean, there were a lot of jellyfish on the first day. Dolphins are passing by all the time..
for a relaxing, health-improving holiday, without frills. I recommend.

It's a great place. The old lighthouse. Abandonment in the form of an old cinema. The child liked it very much. We took a walk, well-groomed territory, drinking fountains, toilets. Of the cons, sun beds. They take 8-10 pieces each. They put the stones down and that's it, no one else all day. People who pay for admission, and even more so for entry, cannot fully use the beach.

We had a great rest, but there are a lot of "buts". The advantages of Pitsunda: incredibly clean and beautiful sea, dolphins (several evenings right in good visibility from the shore and there are many of them , this is a class) , pine forest (there is always shade and indescribable air), spectacular mountain views and much more....
Now about the boarding house... There are no advantages there:
Rooms: there is no smell of improved comfort (the rooms are small, the wallpaper is soaked from the top, full of ants and makrits, the curtain in the bathroom is in black mold, the linen is all in holes, furniture from the USSR, there is practically no cleaning (we did everything ourselves), the food is not tasty (if you like to eat goulash from STOMACHS And HEARTS you here) , only breakfast is acceptable, the staff is boorish, the prices for everything are wild. Generally, we follow nature to pitsunda, but we are no longer Naked in this boarding house!!!

Vacation in OP Pitsunda is a quest.
The payment includes the use of a chaise longue and an umbrella, which are booked with a fight before 6.00, because there are only 50 pieces and there definitely won't be enough for all of them.
ANIMATION is also included in the price. "Not a moment of peace." It's a joke, it's not there at all.
In the rooms: spiders, torn and dirty towels, 3 hangers for everyone, do not clean, do not take out the garbage, etc.
Horse and foot vehicles pass through the checkpoint.
If something could be made worse, then there is nothing left. The management is working to reduce the tourist flow.

The sea is clean, the nature is gorgeous, in general we liked everything except.....
We lived in the last building, there are practically no young people in the dining room, granny snatches ladles when you pour soup, I don't say anything about fruits at all, there was no fight)))
There was no water for our arrival 3 times, the light was turned off almost every day, the mattresses are terribly simple, thanks the springs did not pop out. It is stated to change the linen 1 time in five days, we did not see anything like that, we took out the garbage well ... we did not look at the sun loungers at all, we put pebbles on the towel and left for half a day, like the place is occupied...I have not seen such people yet....

This is an iconic resort for both Pitsunda and Abkhazia as a whole. Wonderful location, clean sea surrounded by relict pines, real beauty!!! Unfortunately, the restoration of the boarding house buildings is moving slowly and the prices are very high. I recommend you to visit if you are a connoisseur of nature and are ready not to notice some Soviet dilapidation.

I have been vacationing in the military industrial complex of Pitsunda for several years now. But it hasn't happened yet. Now it turns out that in the dining room you can put a dog at the same table with you and eat together. A wonderful miracle!!! Otherwise, everything is as before, the sea is clean, there are many cafes for any choice, there is even Uzbek cuisine.

We stayed from 11.7.2021 for 7 nights. Renovated room on the 13th floor. Clean, cozy. The TV is working, the Internet is stable with good speed. The food is varied. . Not a restaurant, a good dining room. The choice is excellent. The beach is great. The beach is cleaned daily. The room is cleaned daily. Nature is beyond praise. One of the disadvantages is that there is no mat in the shower, the floor becomes wet. Dolphins were seen daily. I will come here again with pleasure

We rested at the Pitsunda boarding house in August 2023, in the Amra building, I have not seen a worse place yet, the staff is rude, terrible, dissatisfied, they have not changed the linen once in a week, the towels are torn, when asked to bring paper, they said buy it yourself.The food in this place is just terrible, you can't feed people with it and you can't feed anyone, we got a terrible vacation for our own money, it was ruined. If you take a room of category 1, suite b in certain buildings, on a floor no higher than the 8th, overlooking the sea, know in advance that, having paid for a meal ticket, you will not eat there (the price of the ticket will still be much higher less than in other places without food), know where to walk, what to watch, what amazing places to go (and taxis are not very expensive, but you can also take minibuses if you want a taxi), if you do not clean up every speck of dust, but enjoy your vacation, the sea, nature, delicious food here the same, but in a cafe, then this is the place for an absolutely amazing vacation. So, the above rooms are normally renovated, with air conditioners working, normal furniture, mattresses, TV, bathroom, of course, quite simple, shower with curtain, curtain is not everywhere and not always new (these are the specks of dust that you can find fault with). Rooms with balconies, the first category with direct sea views is something, you wake up in the morning, get up, stretch, and in front of you the endless sea shimmers in the sun, drawings from rare boats on the water, a ridge of mountains encircling the bay on one side, and snow lies on the peaks. If you do not go out on the balcony, then it feels like the sea is outside the window. Going out on the balcony, you realize that 15-20 meters of the path and the beach separate you from the sea. Good afternoon! We had a rest earlier in the defense industry of Pitsunda in 2018, and this year in July 2022, so there is something to compare with. The level of service has decreased very much. In addition, there are buildings in the boarding house, where I think it's just a shame to settle people, especially for such money. I'm talking about the LIGHTHOUSE building! If it were possible to choose a building when booking with an agency, then this building would simply be empty. We escaped from it immediately, on the day of arrival. After the scandal, the administration graciously relocated us to Colchis. The rooms are much better, even those without a balcony. Administrators, for the most part, are quite nice ladies, but there is an administrator who believes that the problems of vacationers do not concern her, and this is not normal!
In the dining room at the entrance there are administrators with indifferent faces who do not even consider it necessary to respond to the greetings of vacationers!
I would like to thank the employees of the canteen, which includes the building of COLCHIS -Fatima and other guys! They did their job perfectly and seven days a week! Thanks!
About the sun beds - everything is true! Either come at 5.30 am or lie on the rocks for your own money. If the weather is hot, then maybe it can still be tolerated, but we were unlucky, it was cool and it was raining. Here is such a service.
It's a shame and I sincerely hope that the administration will consider it necessary to listen to the opinion of vacationers and put things in order - they will buy sun beds, they will not repair the elevator in July in the building, they will stop saving on food for vacationers!!!

We are resting now in July 2022. The weather, the sea, the air, the food are all great. They settled in the Bzyb building on the 10th floor. The room is good. But.. we live together, we were given one electronic key. They asked for it, but they didn't give it. So they ran after each other. One with the key is gone, the other without the light! Neither the air conditioner nor the TV can be turned on. There's a restaurant next door where the music is blaring until two or three in the morning. They complained about the reception, the reaction was zero.

The renovated rooms are good in the Apsna building, but everything else is a quiet horror.There is no cleaning per se in the room. When my son vomited all over the room, they barely found linen to change and new towels. There is no water, no electricity and terrible FOOD. If the electricity is turned off, then there is no water (pumps are not working). It was especially annoying on the day of departure, when I wanted to go swimming for the last day, we couldn't, because I didn't want to go unwashed after the sea, as a result, minus a day from vacation. Similarly, upon arrival, they could not wash, they had to go to bed unwashed (you can imagine the condition after a 4-hour flight and 5 hours before the hotel-the main time was spent crossing the border). Also, due to the water outage, the room constantly smelled of sewage. The food is bad, the buffet is 1 minus, although I am not picky, but even for my taste the food is terrible. There was nothing to feed the children. In the cafe, too, everything tastes and colors, there are no porridges, no eggs, no pasta, meat dishes are sometimes spicy, then something else. As a result, the children ate only potatoes. At the end of the rest, everyone was suffering with stomachs, so they did not go on excursions, and in Abkhazia this is the only thing worth going for.
The only advantage is a clean and warm sea.
There are no animations, no playgrounds. Slides and a mini water park are paid, sun beds need to be occupied at 5:30 in the morning. I don't understand why I paid 200,000...

The fungi are all old from the time of the USSR, they could have installed new intertwined roofs at the beach fungi, the straw does not fly at all in the wind... And the rest is great: the dolphinarium, restaurants, bars, children's attractions, an aqua park, etc. everything is fine..... Dancing in the evening!!!! There are also dolphins in the open sea!!!!

Those who do not plan to sit in the room too much, you can take one without extra overpayments. Food for the variety and quality of dishes for four. The dining room is separate.
The minimum stay is 3 days. The fifth building of the Amra has rooms with in-room amenities and renovation. The room price is almost twice as high. In the dining room of this building, the chefs cooked for three. In general, I recommend the Pitsunda defense Industry, if you are not polite. All buildings are right on the embankment, by the sea, there are 7 of them. A ticket can be purchased right on the site of Gitsba str., 5 in a separate administrative building. It's easy out of season. Dancing in the cafe Morskoe near the first building.

A wonderful place with the opportunity to choose a beach from sandy in the area of the Fish Factory to pebbly. You can get there by train Moscow-Sukhum to Gagra station and from there by minibus or regular taxi. Interesting sculptures, relict pines, magical nature. Delicious food, variety of excursions offered. You can stay in hotels and boarding houses, as well as in the private sector. When we were on vacation, we rented an apartment in a five-story building. We are very satisfied.

A wonderful boarding house with meals, always see which room you pay for. I had an economy room, without a balcony, and without a sea view. And I'm glad, because the TV doesn't work there in any of the 5 buildings, respectively, everyone takes a promenade after dinner, and someone hangs out on the Alley with benches until the morning, because alcohol is sold at the bottom of each building. A view of the pine grove. The Internet catches well, the rooms are not particularly cleaned, they only report toilet paper and take out the trash. But the most important thing is the location, on the one hand a grove, on the other the sea, for those who are vacationing with children-this option is for you.

Not really! I rested for the second time, the first time in 2018, it got worse.
Queues in the dining room due to marks in food stamps, there are few tables, queues for cups and soup plates, which are not enough for everyone, plastic dishes in the dining room, I have never seen this anywhere, there are no air conditioners in the dining room, it's hot.
The rooms have not been updated since 2016, they look older. The linen has not been changed once in 10 days. We bought toilet paper ourselves, and upon check-in we were given 1 roll of the cheapest translucent paper for 10 days. There is a TV and air conditioning in the room, but they did not work. The rooms (category 1) have a hairdryer.
There is a lot of garbage on the beach from tourists who have screwed up - the remains of corn, bones from various fruits, stubs, cigarette packs, neatly covered with pebbles. A syringe with a needle was seen on the beach near the Golden Fleece building.
The stretch of coastline near the Amra building, where swimming is prohibited, has been turned into a landfill. It feels like garbage is being taken there from all over the beach.
There are not enough umbrellas and sun loungers for everyone. I heard on the beach that they have been on guard since 5 a.m., game.
There is a construction site near Amra on the beach, the sounds of which do not subside until sunset, everything can be heard in the rooms on this side.
The buildings are not repaired - you can't look inside without tears.
For children - trampoline, cars, maze.
There are many cafes and souvenir stalls on the territory. Water park - 1300 adult ticket, 6 slides.
The towels have not been changed once in 10 days.
Of the advantages, only the clear sea, pine trees, a view from the window and the territory.

We got into this by accident: we needed a family two-room room, but due to late booking (a month in advance! before the trip) there were no such rooms in more decent hotels (When we arrived, it turned out that they could not provide us with a reserved, paid two-room suite, because it is located in a building that is being renovated! As a result, they lived in the "Lighthouse" in a dilapidated junior suite. At the far buildings, the beach is not equipped with canopies or umbrellas, there are no changing cabins. The toilets by the beach are stinky - creepy. A special shock is the canteen. To eat there, you will be given... coupons!!! Every time you come to eat, you will have to show two aunts some papers!!! and go through the "chopper". The dishes in the dining room are melamine! And mugs and plates! There are creepy oilcloths on the tables. The food is meager, but fresh: We haven't heard about poisoning. The biggest plus is the location BEFORE. The territory is large and beautiful, you can take a walk in the evening. And we also had a very nice maid

The beach is super, the sea is clean! The air is bombed! The hotel consists of 7 buildings, Wi-Fi everywhere; they feed 3 times a day! In general, a fairy tale with an echo in a Children's pioneer camp) in general, I advise everyone, you will not regret it. Fountains with drinking water throughout the boarding house are so cute; toilets, showers on the beach - everything is on top! But there are nuances.
Advantages:
- cheap
- a very picturesque place with stunning views.
- 1 line - i.e. walked 50 meters and on the beach

Minuses:
- when there is no electricity (and in Abkhazia it happens a couple of times a week), you will have to go to the 11th floor without an elevator
- the so-called "buffet" reminded me of an army canteen (a lot of everything, but not tasty)
- the service is unobtrusive, for example, you will not be interrogated with toilet paper :)
- there is an ATM, but it often runs out of money
If you want an amazing service, then you will not go to Abkhazia (in general, not only to this OFK). I did not go there for the service, but for nature and the sea. I liked.

We have been vacationing since September 11, 2022. You can close your eyes to the dead rooms and the boorish attitude of the staff, but everything was surpassed, of course, by the return transfer. When departing at 11:00 a.m., it was scheduled for 2 a.m. I have never seen more bullying of people. I just want to warn those who are going there, keep in mind that you can face this, and there is no one to make claims, no one is responsible for anything there. There are no questions about the nature: it is beautiful - the sea, the air, the weather, the mass of the hotel complex itself: from the broken tiles in the bathroom, the century-old dirty carpet everywhere, cardboard walls, to the reception staff, husking seeds and talking to vacationers at the same time, and shallows with falsely singing drunks until the middle of the night under the windows, which, by the way, they also leave much to be desired. Alas, due to the geopolitical situation, we are simply forced to travel to such places...I'll add more about nutrition - I'm quite unpretentious in food, but the lack of eggs for breakfast is discouraging, to put it mildly, there are porridges, casserole of unknown ingredients, cheese and sausage of suspicious colors. Lunch and dinner are very similar - all kinds of cow and chicken tripe, standard side dishes in the form of contaminated buckwheat, pasta, and some vegetables. In the morning, instant coffee and tea from a can, compote for lunch and dinner. Only soup and compote can be called really tasty. Perhaps, if there is a choice, it is better to make it in favor of no nutrition.
Another addition is that they will not change the bed linen, at most they will leave it on the bed, and well, it will be a miracle if it turns out to be cleaner than the one you have been using for a week.

The rooms were cleaned reluctantly. They wiped the floors and that's it. The staff is lazy and unfriendly. In general, it is completely unsanitary. You definitely don't need to come here.
