The beach is normal. The only thing in the surf, human garbage floated in the water near the shore, without excrement, of course, but not pleasant.
Free Saps on the beach. By the way, there is a construction site nearby) but, against the background of staying in Abkhazia, it did not cause discomfort.

The magical sea! Clean. Deep. Two steps and you can dive. Sometimes dolphins approach the shore, and whole schools of fish near the remnants of the breakwaters.
Despite the high season, you can find a place on the beach. Sun beds and umbrellas can be rented right there, but there is enough space for those who want to lie on the mat.
Since the beach is pebbly, I highly recommend buying special sneakers. You can walk on hot stones in them, and it is convenient to enter the sea. By the way, the beach is cleaned daily. I haven't seen any garbage in two weeks.
It is probably worth noting that in the winter of 23-24 there was a monstrous storm that smashed all the embankments of the city and destroyed the infrastructure. By the summer of 24, everything that they managed to fix was fixed, but, unfortunately, the consequences are still being felt.

We were in Abkhazia for the first time, we just returned. It's terribly simple. There is devastation, garbage cans and dirt all around. Excursions are a complete fake! They are forcibly taken to tastings of counterfeit alcohol and honey . The excursion service is at zero and there is nothing to show!Stalin's cottage on the cold river is shown by some brave local who knows nothing about the subject of the tour, the cottage itself was destroyed, the furniture was wrapped with cheap rags, the windows are open, bedbugs are sitting on the curtains!damaged furniture is taped!The horror! The stores sell completely unusable alcohol! Everything around is terrible!The beaches are dirty, they look like garbage dumps. I can only say good things about the beach and the Aquamarine Hotel, where we lived. There is nothing else good in Abkhazia!

There is a tea station in the rooms, drinking water is always available in the cooler, cleaning of maids for 5+,in the sanitary room there are shower accessories (shower gel, shampoos, toothpaste and brush), snow-white towels, on the balcony there is a table and armchairs, a clothes dryer, the food is just SUPER, not every housewife is like that he can cook at home like their chefs, every evening in the restaurant there is live music, an excellent children's club with professional animators (well done guys)!!!!. The suspect has a clean pool, the opening of the SPA area and the opening of several more pools are coming soon, excellent girls work at the reception (Lana, Maya, Milana, Olesya), they will always help if some kind of emergency situation suddenly arises, a beautiful green area, many THANKS to the manager Galina Rafailovna for her hard work, the ability to be in such excellent condition to maintain the hotel, as well as a wonderful doctor Tatiana, who will provide first aid if any medical situation arises

A wonderful vacation in Gagra. There is a lot of entertainment! Umbrellas and sun beds are available for a fee. Churchkhela, cold beer and cheese rings will be offered by peddlers. Unfortunately, there is no trash can. There is one huge container near the beach, but it is rarely taken out, often overflowing.
