In general, it's fine, there are pros and cons everywhere.
It's great that on a hot day you can swim and swim in the cool river! But... The sand ends a meter from the shore, and then a dirty muddy bottom with mussels, algae and periodically floating boats from coast to coast, a patrol forbidding swimming behind buoys, burning sand and little shade.
On the other hand, there is an opportunity to sit by the water, in nature, there are changing rooms and a toilet. And for 1p. you can go by boat to the other shore and walk along the embankment or in the park.
Unfortunately, it's getting worse and worse. Both the beach and the river are overgrown with grass, the sand from the beach is washed away by rain, the pine has probably not been cleaned since the Soviet era! There are NO pleasure boats, the recreation park is in a depressing state... And this is the "pearl" of the Belarusian Polesie!
The beach itself is nice and very spacious: the sand is good, changing rooms, barbecues, etc.
But there is something that is repulsive, there is a lot of vegetation in the water! The water is muddy.
We spent the night there, except for swimming, everything is super!
Although I'm not a fan of river bathing, but you can sunbathe on the sand there. If you want kvass or ice cream, you will have to pay the boatman to transport you from the realm of sunbathing to the realm of waking and back. ;)
Residents of the city are very concerned about the question of why, with such a wonderful embankment and a beautiful river, the river is completely overgrown covered with mud and no one cleans and no one pays attention to it, meaning the city administration
The beach is not equipped with anything except garbage cans scattered at a decent distance from each other. For comparison, the beach on the other side of the bridge is equipped with benches, at least. The city authorities do not pay any attention to the city beach.Although the nature in this place is very beautiful.
