A normal beach. There are very few sunbeds. Garbage is practically not cleaned. But this is the fault of the vacationers themselves. Where they were sitting, they left it there.

We had a rest in June 2022. The building of Colchis, OP Pitsunda. The season started with a delay due to the weather.
The beach is more or less clean, there is little debris, mostly wood chips or a few branches or logs at the water's edge. If vacationers throw something (bottles, plastic), then in the morning employees come and clean up this garbage. Chips and logs are cleaned less often, but I would not say that the beach is dirty.
There is a problem with the sun beds. It's a matter of organization. The sun beds are distributed between the buildings. It turns out that there are 150 sunbeds on the first building and the beach to it.
For the next 3 buildings on the second beach, there are the same 150 sunbeds, for which all three buildings are fighting. The sun beds were occupied from 5 a.m.
The Lighthouse (the last buildings) had sun beds, about the same number, but I did not see that they were in demand. Maybe because these buildings were not fully populated. It would be logical to transfer some of the sunbeds to Colchis so that there would be no hype.
I really enjoyed the rest. We'll consider ourselves lucky with the weather. I had a pleasant experience.
Thanks to the staff and the administration for a good rest.
The place is not bad, but to charge 50 rubles for admission in order to buy elementary is complete nonsense and extortion of money. By the way, such fees are illegal.
The sea is gorgeous!!! But everything else leaves much to be desired. A dirty and undeveloped beach, a neglected nature reserve, mud near a cafe on the beach. But 4 "stars" are only beyond the sea!!!
The beach, as an organized place of rest, of course, is no - there are few sun beds and umbrellas, brisk pensioners score them for the whole season at once. The infrastructure is also not very good. But the sea and the purity of the water are just perfect!)))
I liked the beach. Pebbles. We were out of season, so I don't know if the sun beds were paid - there weren't many people, no one was chasing) we were lying down - no one ever came up to us.
Entrance through the checkpoint is paid, but there is a bypass through the stairs.
You just have to be careful, there are snakes.
The beach is wide, pebbly, but there are few sun beds, there are not enough for everyone, people take up from 5 o'clock, in a fight, and it's so clean and the sea is the purest.
One of the symbols of Abkhazian tourism, famous throughout the USSR for its high-rise boarding houses, clean water, relict pines and glamorous Soviet past
Pitsunda is Pitsunda..,
In 2022 housing prices are significantly higher than in 2021. If you plan to look for housing on the spot, do not be lazy, ask in advance so that it will not be a surprise.
