We spent three wonderful days in Podere Casanova in November. It's probably even more wonderful in summer. Very atmospheric place on a hill near Florence, great view of the surrounding area. The hospitable hostess Lisa met us, provided us with all the necessary information and maps of the surrounding area. We lived in the Ciliegi apartments on the second floor. It is very cozy and warm. Unfortunately, there were no spices in the house, I had to ask Lisa, she immediately provided them. But it is better to buy everything you need in advance, spices, butter, sugar, coffee, etc. There are shops in nearby towns where you can buy everything you need. Also, there is a restaurant very close by. I liked everything very much, maybe we will come again.
