After reading excellent reviews about this place, we came to eat simple dishes that turned out to be simply too much for the local cuisine. Fries (photo below) 180p : cold, empty, tasteless, is it really so difficult not to serve absolutely cold?
The service is just a dump of everything) the waitress says from the doorway that you won't sit down, and when you sit down, she doesn't do anything to make you eat, she just doesn't fit, and when she does, she obviously does you a great favor. You can't even pay off properly, because the waitress is just not interested in you) she walks away from you without even noticing that you are very polite to her. There is only one conclusion: not a foot here.

A cafe with a claim to a restaurant. Prices are lower than in the restaurant, but slightly higher than in ordinary cafes.
I have read reviews about rough service, but I have not personally observed this when visiting. The girls are friendly and smiling.
The food is delicious, the portions are large. We went there for breakfast and dinner.
There is a small selection of alcoholic beverages including local wine and chacha.

We lived in Ldzaa for 9 days, ate in this cafe every day. Thank you very much to the hardworking Abkhazian girls for the delicious, safe (you can safely come here with children), varied food, perfectly clean dishes, and fast service!!! I especially liked cheesecakes and pancakes for breakfast, khinkali and mashed potatoes with a cutlet for lunch, all grilled dishes for dinner. Thank you to all Sunflower workers!

We came from the beach for 2 days. There was no place on day 1 so we left. We came on the 2nd day there was no place, we waited for about 15 minutes and a place was vacated. For food: we took noodles, okroshka, chanakhi, fried eggplant and khachapur. The noodles were good, the okroshka was empty, there were a lot of vegetables and little meat in the vats, fried eggplants were delicious, khachapur was average. It was better last year.

Overall, I liked it.
Pros: cleanliness and clarity are beyond doubt, there is a small lounge area around and children play there. The place is solid, solid, without the typical Abkhazian barn style.
Cons: it's expensive (a plate of hearty soup from 350 rubles, as far as I remember). Not everything is wow-delicious, a khachapuri boat and tastier ate. Children's menu - sausages!? There are no cutlets with mashed potatoes for a child.

Caustic remarks on elementary requests and questions are the corporate style of the institution. I asked the phlegmatic girl at the bar a question. The answer is gorgeous: "Do I look like your waitress?"
No, damn, you look like a habalka working for competitors!
In fairness, it should be said that one of the girls corrected the situation a little. When she saw that her colleague (our waitress) was much more interested in the phone than our needs ("why couldn't we order everything right away???"), she brought the matter to the final and accepted the second part of the order from us.

The food is delicious (and we had fastidious people in food), the staff is friendly, responsive, always went to a meeting. The waiters in the evening, when the landing is complete, spin like bees)) Vika, Danya, Vlad and another pretty girl (I'm sorry I didn't find out your name) - you're all just super!!! It was always a pleasure to communicate, to cheer up) no one is kept waiting in vain! If you compare it with other places, then you can say a restaurant here!

We visited this cafe several times in July 2024, starving on modest Abkhazian grubs. I liked everything the first time, quickly and inexpensively. Then we took pizza to take away, pizza is also normal. On the last visit, before leaving, they were poisoned either with borscht or meat, and drove home in a semi-fainting state (which is generally a so-so experience behind the wheel). Soups can't be taken there for sure, it's not known how old they are.
She was killed by a waitress who was a royal, who was being pestered by some plebeians. I brought 4 appliances instead of 5, half a liter of lemonade instead of a liter, an inadequately aggressive reaction to a polite request to convey the missing, and finally, the final question (when they ate everything): "Well, what else are you missing?" ))

We came for the first time, the waitress girls were sitting at the table talking and laughing. they didn't pay attention to us, so we had to take the menu ourselves and call them over. a hundred years later, a girl came up to us and made an order. the food is brought for a very long time, I ordered pilaf - it was over-salted.
the next day I ordered chicken Curry with rice - the rice is cold, it is impossible to eat.
Today I ordered a dish, I waited for 40 minutes!

We visited a cafe.
We ordered 2 pieces of chicken noodle soup, kharcho, solyanka and khachapuri.
Noodle soup is one name, it feels like it's diluted.
My wife threw up at home because of the pickle.
For some reason, the kharcho is made of pork, and for some reason the pork is not a piece, but like porridge in soup.
Khachapuri waited 45 minutes, the total time was 1:20, although we stopped for lunch for 15 minutes and went for a walk to Pitsunda. As a result, we returned to the room and lay down.

This time we came and took pancakes with condensed milk for breakfast 2 servings, in these two untouched portions we found hair, naturally we did not pay. And besides, we waited for orders for 20-30 minutes. I do not recommend this cafe!

We were in this cafe in September 2023. We got such a disappointment.... for 8 years we went to Lidzawa for a month + and we always went there to eat and everything was just wonderful. But not this year. We ordered a Sunflower salad and a frying pan. The salad was probably brought yesterday, and the frying pan was simply warmed up without thinking for a long time. What can I say, there was no bread in the cafe (and it's not fate to run away to a penny) Some visitors themselves went for bread for a penny. And this is in the middle of the working day. Such a terrible disenchantment! We loved this cafe very much, but it's so grumpy that they served us this time, it doesn't go through any gates. It was such an atmospheric place and what happened to you? It was always very tasty, excellent waiters Marina and Samvel were always hospitable and friendly. And now what? Warmed-up food with meat that was given to dogs....By the way, in the Abkhazian vkontakte group I left a review about this trip to Sunflower, (it was so insulting what happened to this cafe) which was safely demolished by admins, probably so that people would not read the negative. But after all, you are being scolded for the cause. I hope the owner of the Sunflower reads these reviews. Well, we don't go there anymore. Like that.

I remember going to Abkhazia twice to the same place. We went to this restaurant every (almost) day, and everything is just gorgeous! All the food is just wonderful, always appetizing, everything is done properly.
There are always very appetizing dishes and a pleasant atmosphere. The staff is just wonderful!
Apparently, everyone is trying, everyone is in time. By the way, I was very pleased with the boy Danil, like his name is).
He always does everything carefully, even when he was sleepy, tried to do everything with a sense of humor, always on the positive side. :) But others are not bad either.
Generally, 10/10.

The place itself is located away from the road, everything is pretty enough. There are no dirty tables. After the guests, everything is quickly cleaned. We were hit by a full landing. I had to wait about 20 minutes, not critical.The waiters are running around like ants. The order was for 13 people (8 adults and 5 children). It was delivered within 20 minutes, which is good. Prices are the same as everywhere else.
For food. I speak only for myself. I ordered meat from Abkhazia and Gourmet salad + Soviet draft beer. I didn't like the food. The meat was sinewy and chewed for a very long time, I didn't even finish it. Gourmet salad is generally a separate topic.
The composition includes eggplant, cheese, tomatoes and walnuts + dressing (this is on the menu) price 350 rubles / 250g. They brought something scattered on a plate. A few pieces of eggplant, tomato and cheese on a pillow of lettuce, there was no walnut, no dressing either. This salad is one of my favorites and I always order it on occasion, but here I was very upset about the content and taste. It felt like a piglet was cut up and take it and eat it. Of course, I understand everything, a full landing is a big strain, but spoiling a salad is something. The beer is delicious.
The children were given French fries and strips. The strips are not tasty, but the potatoes did not come with a bang.
