Good evening, everyone! I almost never write reviews, but something is very "hooked" today! I applied for a visa at the Consular and Legal Department of the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in Minsk on 04/01/2025. My impressions and observations are based on several visits. How well the department's work is organized: everything is clear, fast, and professional! There is no nervousness and fuss, starting from the entrance, submitting documents and ending with payment. The kindness and responsiveness of each of the employees. Here's an example to follow!!! I've also read negative reviews, but let's remind ourselves that most of our compatriots work there, and do we always react and behave correctly ourselves? Friends, let's start with ourselves, so that every day we can be or become better than yesterday, notice and absorb all the best that others have. Respect and respect for the organization of the work of the Consular and Legal Department of the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in Minsk! You really are a role model!!! Sincerely, Natalia Bogomolova.
I'm thrilled. Everything is very fast. People are as polite as possible. They explained and showed everything. I got a very good specialist, a man with glasses in the 4th window, who helped and explained what documents needed to be done at the bank. It's convenient to wait in line. They work fast. I liked everything.
A terrible embassy!!!
It is impossible to obtain information before filing, they are incompetently consulted by phone. You will be told "come, we will sort it out on the spot" and hang up. As a result, on the day of submission, even if you collect all the documents according to the brochure). You are forced to redo the documents (even if they correspond to the originality, with all the seals, etc.... they give you about an hour to deliver the documents (physically it is extremely impossible). On a request to inform during the day , it is negative to refuse - it may depend on the person who accepts ). When considering for a visa within 2 weeks, even if there are doubts about the documents, a normal embassy requests additional information from the applicant via e-mail or by phone, here anyone is lucky. You can come for your passport on the day of issue, and you can be re-requested for new documents and given time again until the end of the working day (about ~ one hour). In this case: if you inform and prove your purpose of the trip, they will issue a visa, if not, then you will take a clean passport with a refusal (we saw from the experience of other applicants while we were waiting). The embassy left an extremely negative impression.
