It is impossible to obtain information before filing, they are incompetently consulted by phone. You will be told "come, we will sort it out on the spot" and hang up. As a result, on the day of submission, even if you collect all the documents according to the brochure). You are forced to redo the documents (even if they correspond to the originality, with all the seals, etc.... they give you about an hour to deliver the documents (physically it is extremely impossible). On a request to inform during the day , it is negative to refuse - it may depend on the person who accepts ). When considering for a visa within 2 weeks, even if there are doubts about the documents, a normal embassy requests additional information from the applicant via e-mail or by phone, here anyone is lucky. You can come for your passport on the day of issue, and you can be re-requested for new documents and given time again until the end of the working day (about ~ one hour). In this case: if you inform and prove your purpose of the trip, they will issue a visa, if not, then you will take a clean passport with a refusal (we saw from the experience of other applicants while we were waiting). The embassy left an extremely negative impression.
I would like to express my gratitude to the embassy employee who accepted documents for a national visa on 29.08. She correctly understood my situation and accepted the documents corrected in accordance with the previously submitted requirements in the best possible way. Inappropriate behavior of call center employees. Disrespectful communication, constant interruptions, and the cherry on the cake is just hanging up the phone and not being allowed to finish.
Today, together with my mother, I applied for a visa to visit relatives abroad. I have not observed more boorish behavior on the part of an embassy employee accepting documents in window number 4 in any other place (I have extensive experience in obtaining visas from Schengen countries (Italy, Spain, Lithuania, Poland). The embassy employee talked to us arrogantly and in raised tones, casually threw documents into a safe deposit box for their transfer. After such an experience, even if the German Chancellor invites us to get a visa at this Embassy, we just don't set foot there. Incompetence, open rudeness and arrogance begin to be felt as soon as you cross the threshold of this institution.
I've been waiting for my turn for 6 months. There will even be more now. If someone is not urgent, you can wait.
I've heard that the failure rate is minimal. We delivered it as requested, a one-time one for 1.5 months. They even gave me 2.
I had to clarify the question on the phone - they answered quickly and hung up without even listening to my next question. They respond promptly by mail.
It was submitted for the first time, the passport is clean. I was worried. There was one problem with the document, but it was quickly resolved and I succumbed on the same day. The interview was a maximum of 15 minutes. Basic questions.
10 days were given for consideration. I came to pick up at the 4th window - they said that I had not delivered the paper. There was no question about it at all) they didn't tell me ANYTHING on the day of submission. I lost a couple of days. Not critical, but an unpleasant situation.
Two days later I came and gave this certificate. And they already gave me a passport with a ready-made visa right away. But there was a long queue, waiting for 30 minutes.
Of course, it is not pleasant that they did not immediately say that they had to deliver the documents. But everything is individual.
After reading the reviews here, I was afraid to go, but everything is fine.
You can't use the phone, you can leave it in front of the insurance building for free donation.
I'm glad I got the visa I wanted.

The staff is very friendly. However, everything is strictly according to the rules: phones, large bags, etc. can not be carried with you — they check at the entrance. There are two insurance companies nearby where you can make copies, and a BSB bank.
When applying for a national visa, it was unexpected that the whole procedure took almost two hours — checking the documents and then discussing them, combined with an interview. Although I expected that I would just hand over my documents and fingerprints.
The first time we applied to this embassy, of course we were worried. The girl listened, looked at the invitation, was polite. The interview was no more than 20 minutes, they were invited even ahead of time. The visa was issued as much as requested. We are very satisfied with the embassy, the service and the organization.

The young man who accepted my documents was very friendly, polite and courteous. If I had any questions when filling out the questionnaire in German, he did not help. He was tactful. The diplomat girl who talked to me later was also very pleasant, smiling and understanding (even after receiving the Goethe Institute certificate, I did not understand all the words). The only thing that upsets is the timing of the review, but it no longer depends on our side.
I guess I was unlucky with the employee accepting the documents. That's horrible. They didn't want to give me any answers. I have to collect all the documents "at my discretion." What amount is needed for the maintenance of children "at your discretion", how to arrange it correctly "at your discretion" and so on, that's all I tried to find out. No embassy has ever talked to me like that before. I didn't expect this. Especially from the German embassy. Although the employees are ours.
I called to clarify some questions about the documents. I ran into rudeness from an employee. They didn't let me finish, they hung up with the words "there are no consultants here." How can I find out information while living in another city?

As in all embassies, everything is strict, everything is on time. The big disadvantage of this embassy is that it is located in a residential area. People come from different cities. The nearest toilet is at McDonald's!!!! - but you need to know about it. We have repeatedly observed how people tried to nestle around the corner.
Everything is clear and to the point, the queue is by appointment, no madhouse like other EU embassies. The staff is strict, demanding and working strictly according to the rules.

They regularly create difficulties when applying for a visa. They report clearly incorrect information about the requested deadlines and rules for the use of visas, do not accept insurance, criticize invitations, accuse out of business, and generally consider themselves smarter than the consul and employees of municipalities in Europe
In the Netherlands, they recommended complaining about embassy staff at the country's Foreign Ministry.
Multi Schengen visas are not given for tourism. You can't take your phone and stuff with you, there are no storage rooms. The queue is not moving very fast. They can send for additional documents. On the plus side, there is always time to record, even for tomorrow.
The process of obtaining a Schengen visa is quite fast, but the ban on bringing mobile phones into the territory, even when turned off, is simply killing.
Everything is clear. And probably the most loyal employees will always explain and help if there are any questions.

I have not encountered rudeness from employees. The only downside is that you can't carry a phone. (For example, at the Russian embassy in Germany, it is allowed to simply turn it off).
There are constant queues outside in any weather, and insurance agents are like wolves waiting for everyone passing by. There is no concern for customers.
