A very interesting museum dedicated specifically to military operations on the territory of Latvia.
In terms of subject matter, it largely echoes the Museum of History and Navigation and the Museum of Occupation and serves as a good addition to their exhibitions.
I especially liked the hall dedicated to the struggle for the country's independence in the early 20th century.
The military actions during the Second World War are also reflected in great detail.
Importantly, admission is free.
The place is like a place and quite to itself, if not for the ideological component of the eternal whining about the Soviet occupation and how we are now ready to take Russia away. The purely Latvian version is dumb, even dumber
