A hotel with good service and tired rooms. The staff is attentive, very responsive, responds instantly to all requests. The breakfast is good, there are three options to choose from. The rooms are clean, but everything is dead, starting from the crumpled pillows, to the ancient windows that are difficult to close, the rooms have cosmetic repairs, but the furniture is asking for replacement. In general, it is very good for 3 stars

The hotel is not bad, even good. At first we were happy with everything. Although it was quite cool in the room (with the temperature outside the window - +7-10). But you can see the mountains, and the room is spacious. Breakfast is included, but the vegetables on the plate are "artificial". Just the cheapest tasteless tomatoes and cucumbers. It's a shame that they save so much on guests.
But everything went fine until the last day of the stay. Firstly, it's getting colder outside, and the room is already full of detox. The balcony does not close completely, and even the air conditioner, set to +30, did not help. Just a doofus. And there was such a little thing. One day I ran out of toilet paper. I didn't really want to designate this intimate point, but I would like to draw the attention of the hotel administration to this.
But the most unpleasant moment happened when we began to pack our things before leaving and found that our package was missing. There was nothing valuable there, just tea and a few other things, but the fact that the staff decided that since the black bag was on the floor, it was garbage... How is this even possible?!! In general, the impression is greatly spoiled.

Not in the city center, but very close. A beautiful building. Polite staff. Super view from the balcony to the mountains. Cozy beds. A delicious continental breakfast. The building was built in 1974, which is very good, given the seismic activity of the region. The sound insulation in the rooms is weak. Not a very comfortable sink (very short faucet). All toiletries are included. Overall, I had a pleasant experience.

There's not much left of the hotel. Most of the premises are rented out for offices. The interior is shabby. There was no trace of the former luxury. There is a mini coffee shop in the lobby. Not bad. In short ... it's more like a business center (and far from super), but like a hotel - so ... a three on a five-point scale.

All the administrators are polite and helpful (they helped me more than once), the maid girls are smart!
Before booking a room, of course, I read the reviews. It is clear that as many people as there are opinions, but!!! People!!! If you know where you are going and where you will move in, then why are there so many disturbances???!!!
Personally, everything was fine with me; yes, in the Soviet way, yes - everything is modest, but cozy, there are no foreign smells, air conditioning, hot water, etc.!!!

There is a cooler on the floor. The bed is comfortable without bedsores. There is flooring in the room. My room was clean. There are slippers, bathroom accessories. There are 4 types of breakfast to choose from.
A check was issued at the check-out. The documents were promised to be sent by mail.

This is a tin! If there is an opportunity not to stay here, then don't stop! I have never seen a worse hotel in Almaty. The rooms are old, the furniture is too, the bathroom is in poor condition, the breakfast is meager. The windows on the old metal frame are glued with plasticine, no heat and noise insulation.

The hotel is famous, but very old. There is no spoon in it.
When entering with suitcases, you immediately get stuck and slow down due to the carpet.. The cleaners scurry around like they're in charge, not us.

Special thanks to the young man named Format, very polite and hospitable, promptly solved issues, suggested where the pharmacy is nearby, what you can see in the area. In general, I made our stay at the hotel comfortable. Among the disadvantages - the light in the room is not very conveniently made (there is no lamp or light bulb above the workspace), not a very fast elevator, a mini-bar that for some reason warmed inside instead of cooling (for us it was uncritical, but strange of course)

The Alatau Hotel... I've loved this building since I was a kid.... And what a view of the mountains from the upper floors... Thanks to the owners for leaving the Soviet sculptures in the yard. Now it is not just a hotel, but also a business center with a convenient location. And there works, on the 8th floor, the best tattoo artist and tattoo artist in the city, Yura Burmistrov, and in the next office the coolest master stylist Sasha Churikov makes super haircuts))

I really liked the staff! Clean, cozy, great breakfasts! Special thanks to the chefs! The pizza "four cheeses" was extremely delicious! Of course, the hotel is not new, it would not hurt to update the bed linen and towels. But in general, I am not picky, the price per room is affordable for my income! I used to think that this was an ordinary Soviet-built hotel. But it turned out that there is a fitness center, a gym, a Fight club, a kinesitherapy center of Dr. Bubnovsky, which puts you on your feet and allows you to treat many diseases of the joints and musculoskeletal system.
There is also a Baymax cafe with a summer playground and live music, a Sofia food canteen with delicious and inexpensive food.
The hotel is half a business center, where there are beauty salons, a massage center, a Free dombyra music and vocal center, a notary and a lawyer, a language learning center, educational centers for children and adults, travel and advertising agencies, a fashion studio, a dental clinic and an aesthetic medicine clinic, design and design companies and much more other things.
I was pleasantly surprised that Premier Alatau has many organizations whose services may be needed in everyday life.
