Very tasty! I have not eaten such a meal even in Moscow in a "specialized" restaurant. Fresh dishes, a delicious bouquet of spices. It's delicious at home. We took satsivi (as you already understood)), meat in Abzazi (a little fatty and on smoked meat - who likes it), simply incomparable achapa, grilled vegetables, amazing khachapur, feijoa compote - the most fragrant (maybe a little sweet), la-la - dump of the head, hominy, really, on semolina (as far as I know, traditionally, it's corn), delicious eggplant rolls! In general, if there are 6 times there, it is delicious and satisfying! I definitely recommend it

We went to a cafe for dinner based on a large number of reviews, we have a large company of 7 people, unfortunately no one liked the result. The portions of salads are small, the potatoes were served overcooked, there was just a huge amount of mayonnaise in the French chicken, meat in a pan, of which there was very little, mostly vegetables and again - mayonnaise... the only cafe where the figure of 10% for service was rounded up, and not towards the guest... the prices in this cafe do not correspond to the quality of the dishes served and are significantly overstated... We didn't go there anymore...

Get out of here! THEY WERE POISONED VERY MUCH BY SHISH KEBAB!!!!
Apparently, the meat was either already spoiled, or improperly stored or cooked poorly - God only knows.
We visited this institution on August 02, 2023, went to dinner, took from the dishes: crispy eggplant salad, shish kebab, vats, French fries.
A piece of cardboard box was found in the salad…
The French fries were raw and it felt like they were store-bought frozen…
Everything has already been said about shish kebab above.....
Also, a dry martini was sampled from alcohol — one diluted VODKA!
Not to mention that the service is lousy.
The only thing that was more or less decent was the chanakhi.

We went to the cafe according to the reviews, we were disappointed. They asked for black tea with mint, either they poured little tea, or they did not pour boiling water, the tea did not brew. They asked to fix it, added boiling water and tea, the tea became stronger, but it killed the taste of mint (the quality of tea is also not very good, not leaves, but chopped twigs).
I ordered stuffed peppers, it would be delicious if they were salted...I usually have a lot of salt everywhere, but here the meat was as bland as possible. The taste was pulled out by local herbs and pepper, well, and the salt I added on top.
My husband ordered a shurpa, I liked it, it was delicious. And khinkali, which all fell apart out of 4 pieces, that is, the meaning of khinkali disappeared, it was necessary to drink broth from a plate.
Interestingly, they sell caesar with Peking cabbage, but at a price as if with an iceberg. Prices are generally very close to Moscow prices, but the taste and quality of service are good there, and here...The waitress girls were inattentive to the guests, dirty dishes and napkins were left on the table. But they will definitely take 10 percent as a service fee.
For some reason, there are a lot of people sitting, maybe because of the pretty veranda. In other cafes, where the food is more decent, but there is no such veranda, there are fewer people sitting.

but! The waiters - slowly girls who prefer to just sit at the tables, instead of serving customers - had to get the menu themselves and run to ask for the order to be accepted. As a result, I also had to wait an hour for my order. Are the waiters not watching the filling of the napkin table? No, you haven't heard, wipe after the previous client? Well, that's according to the mood.
Terrible service spoils, or rather its absence, spoils the whole impression of the cafe....

but how long everything has been, there are clearly not enough waiters. First you wait for the waiter, about 20 minutes to make an order. We have done it, we are waiting for an order, 20-60 minutes, more often 40-60 (despite the fact that this is not for a large company, but two people for a hot drink and a drink). Then you try to catch the waiter and ask for the bill (go to the bar faster and do it there). Now we are waiting for the bill for 20-30 minutes. These expectations spoil the whole impression.
The waiter guy was pleased - he is always polite and friendly, but the girls are friendly selectively, not for everyone.

Great cafe.
The location of the tables on the street is convenient, there is a landing along the sea, tables under a palm tree and 2 gazebos for a company of 8-10 people, in the cafe the landing is dense and in summer it can be stuffy.
The menu has no claim to haute cuisine, the portions are large, the menu contains a gram for delivery. Prices are average for New Athos.
Soups are a definite plus, rich, meaty - which is what shurpa, kharcho and hashlama should be. Definitely 5.
Salads are different and for every taste- for me on a solid 4.
National snacks are a must-try - meat and grilled cheese, peppers and tomatoes with nuts. 5 unconditionally.
Hot dishes in the assortment. Abkhazian meat, tapaka chicken and khinkali deserve attention. These are exactly 5, the rest is +-4.
Dishes from the grill are a song! All kinds of kebabs and trout are extremely good. Juicy, without a lot of spices. The cooking is perfect, the sturgeon kebab is incomparable.
Sauces are good, especially nutty ones. Try to take trout on coals - you will not regret it.
Cocktails are quite a standard set, with no complaints about the composition. Homemade chacha is very decent, homemade wine 5, bottled like everyone else's.
Desserts ice cream and milk shakes. Like everyone else.
Priboy is an excellent family restaurant, friendly staff, good location and a large number of delicious dishes.
Negative reviews are not very clear . The delivery of dishes is not fast-+ 20 minutes, but it's not street food either- everything is prepared with you and it takes time, plus only 2 waitresses work.
The conclusions are simple - a great place with a wonderful view, delicious cuisine and an adequate price.

Every time there was pleasant foreign music, French, Italian, English, Russian and other melodies. The tables are located under palm trees. All palm trees are illuminated in the evenings. Great view of the sea during the day. There is a closed area in the hot season. Well, the main thing for the cafe is the kitchen. There is a choice. I liked the sturgeon and lamb kebabs the most. At the same time, the price-quality ratio is pleasing. Good drinks and a wine list. The staff themselves do not hide the fact that some guests were not always satisfied with the taste of the dishes, while naming which ones. The staff is friendly and friendly. But it all started from the very entrance, there were no people, one table was occupied inside, 0 staff. We walk slowly, waiting for someone to meet us, and then from this single table they tell us "like Russians, why don't you say hello?" and this turned out to be the staff))))) the first impression has already become lower, well, then the food was brought, an average khachapuri, a lower-average caesar, a mojito consisting of ice, in general, at first everything was 3/5, but that's because we were hungry, then the score dropped even more. There was no waitress. In general, it is not clear why this institution has such a high rating. Finally, when we went out, the door to the kitchen was open, everything seemed to be OK, but the kitchen was like grandma's in the village... it didn't seem disgusting, but it also had some unpleasant aftertaste

Perhaps the best cafe in Athos.
Everything is very tasty, starting with homemade bread and wine and further down the menu!
Unobtrusive neutral music of moderate volume, without national accents, excellent location by the sea and reasonable prices.
Yes, you have to wait 30 minutes, but you can be sure that they are preparing for you upon order.

Caesar is a separate pain (they brought a mountain of cabbage sprinkled with cheese and rubber and tasteless shrimp. Tips are also included in the bill, although they do not correspond to reality. The chairs at the table were in a disgusting state, one broken, the other with a huge greasy stain on the back.
