This is not a hostel. This is a great guest house. There are three apartments on the third floor, reception, etc. The place is a bomb: the location is the best, the city center, everything is nearby! The rooms have a refrigerator, kitchen, good Wi-Fi. Cleaning every day. The hospitable and helpful host Ramin is always in touch and helps to resolve all issues related to his stay in Baku. Very reasonable prices. We were satisfied, we recommend it!
One of the advantages: the house is not far from the embankment and opposite the government house. We started walking from the house and walked 40 minutes to the old town. Through the most beautiful streets of the city. If you walk along the embankment, the fashionable Crescent pier is 25 minutes to the left, Denise Pier is 30-40 minutes to the right. You can also walk to the white district in an hour.
At first, I was alarmed by the owner's request to make an advance payment, I thought it was a hoax, but we took a chance, everything turned out to be honest. He met us personally in the apartment, and we had a good conversation. I answered questions later on WhatsApp.
Cons: the third floor in the old entrance, similar to the St. Petersburg front. And we were with a stroller! And they didn't know at all that it was impossible to get up with a wheelchair. We suffered all week, lifted together from two sides. The floors have not been cleaned in the room for a week! I have a baby who started crawling and it was very important to me that the floor was clean. I asked the owner's assistant every day, she said "okay" and never washed!!!! I would have washed the floors myself, but the mop and bucket were locked in their closet. The assistant only washed our dishes. I would have washed the dishes myself, but there is no sponge or detergent, and when I asked if you would give it to me to clean up, the owner replied, "there is a store nearby, buy there."
