Beautiful place, nature. A lake with swans, a pond with fish. There is a small zoo, peacocks scream very loudly. There is an excellent khachapurnaya near the lake, the best in Abkhazia. They cook large, very tasty boats in the oven. The size is impressive.

Every time we are in Abkhazia, we come to this cafe. Gorgeous ice cream with fruits and admiring the fish in the water around the cafe. Children are especially interested. You can go boating. Now everything is still around and everything is being repaired and cleaned. Well done!

A great place to relax and have a good time. Clean, culturally, there is a lot of greenery around. Black swans, peacocks, ostriches. There are outdoor cafes with Abkhazian cuisine in different parts of the park. Live music is played mostly in the evening. When crossing the road to the coastline, there are organized places to relax on the beach with sun beds under a canopy, cool drinks and Sukhumi beer are on sale.

The views are amazing...the fish swimming in the canals is soothing. There are many cafes of different sizes....prices are basically normal....but at the limit. There are catastrophically few toilets...and elderly people will miss the shops.

The park is good, but there are many BUTS. I would like landscaping, flower beds, clean, non-smelly toilets. In a Cafe on the water, meat (kebab, kebab) is not possible in principle. Khachapuri is delicious.

We rested in New Athos in August 2021, at the foot of the mountain, three minutes from the sea there is a very beautiful park. Its territory is large, green, with many different plants. There is a pond with swans (white, black), declarative ducks, ostriches all along the park! Special houses and aviaries are provided for birds.You can hide from the sun in beautiful gazebos, and the evening will be decorated with a walk along illuminated bridges spanning the water. There are several cafes in the park where you can have a delicious snack and dance!

Well, like many places in Abkhazia, it asks for care. There are Black swans in the pond and ostriches in a cage with peacocks. A lot of fish in the pond water and even more frogs are beautiful in general. You can walk the entire area about 100 meters in length.

As an avid aquarist, I couldn't look at polluted reservoirs. Do you even know that they need to be cleaned at least once a year?! In one place we heard the polyphonic croaking of frogs, there are just a lot of them there. And because part of the reservoir is overgrown and has become a swamp. You need to take care of all this, so only the frogs will stay there.
