I would really like to leave a review from the genre hospital and the staff working there, perhaps someone is planning to give birth in Turkey on the Antalya coast and does not know which hospital to choose.
On 04/29/2023, we were lucky enough to become the parents of a beautiful girl. Let's start from the beginning:
1) my husband and I do not speak Turkish, when we got to the hospital we were immediately provided with an interpreter. Layla. This wonderful and professional woman immediately aroused our trust. She told us everything, showed us, walked with us by the hand in the literal sense of the word. She translated, showed, calmed, and did much more than her duties.
2) Gynecologist - Dr. Ahmed Yaman. This is a doctor from God who not only knows his job, but sincerely loves it and respects his patients. I took the necessary tests, did an ultrasound, told about all the risks (we wanted to give birth naturally), did not insist, but told about our problems and said that it was up to us to decide: cesarean or natural. Of course, we did not take any chances, and we said that then let there be a caesarean section. The operation itself lasted 40 minutes plus 20 minutes to prepare me, anesthesia, etc. After 10 minutes I lay down and stopped feeling the bottom of my body, I heard my daughter crying, and after another 5 minutes I was already given to hold and kiss her. Then my daughter was taken away, and literally 30 minutes later I was brought to the ward, where my husband was already waiting for me with my daughter in his arms.
3) pediatrician - Dr. Hassan Yildiz. He is a very caring and competent doctor. He constantly examined, monitored, and gave recommendations to our family about our girl.
4) The ward is just something - a five-star hotel room. There was everything from a comfortable bed, a folding sofa for my husband, a cradle for our daughter, a refrigerator, a safe, a shower, a toilet, a bathtub, air conditioning. It feels like a resort. Food for both my husband and me - the most delicious four meals a day, diapers for both my daughter and me, diapers, provided absolutely everything. In my opinion, this is the merit of the chief physician, Dr. Hassan Arpachi.
5) nurses- I had my nurse 24/7, my daughter has her own nurse 24/7. There was also a nurse - a kind, delightful woman - Teresa - who spoke Russian, she fully taught us how to swaddle, how to change diapers, how to feed and much more - explained everything and constantly came and helped.
I can't help but express my gratitude to this hospital, everything was Competent, at the Luxury level. Doctors, staff - this is something that cannot be described. I definitely recommend this hospital, we gave birth there, but I'm sure that not only childbirth, everything is at this level. Once again, thank you very much Akdeniz Hospital!!!
