We rested here a few years ago, for a whole month. This is actually not a hotel, but a complex of apartments that were bought by private individuals and rented out, our room belonged to some Italian woman, and we rented it through an agency in this very town of Costa Adeje.
The rooms are quite simple, there is a kitchenette, a sleeping place is fenced off by a glass partition, but each room has a huge elegant terrace with a table. There are no air conditioners, but there is a ceiling fan in every room, it doesn't get hot, the climate is very mild. I'll give you an A for proximity to the ocean. In the courtyard formed by a ring of buildings, a large swimming pool opens at 9 a.m., and until 18 o'clock the British and Germans soak and lie on the beds there, and only Russians and Ukrainians on the beach by the ocean)
There are a lot of restaurants and cafes on the shore with hearty breakfasts and cold beer, there are many shops in the town for profitable shopping, prices are low, because this Tenerife has some kind of tax-free zone. The products were bought in large Mercadona hypermarkets, inexpensive and very tasty. There are also only fans in the shops, there are no air conditioners. There are Chinese restaurants with a buffet, Indian ones, where there are three dishes to choose from for a fixed price. The town is very safe, quiet in the evenings, the British sing karaoke in bars, no one drinks on the streets.
The Atlantic is usually cool, but sometimes the water is very warm, depending on the currents. But the sand on the beach is very hot, volcanic, gray and even black, it is very hot in the sun, it is useful for joints, but it is better to take an air mattress for lying down, not a blanket, it is not hot on it.
There are many excursions offered, you can rent a car, very cheap compared to continental Europe, and go around everything yourself, and Loro Park, and Teide volcano, and the whole island in general. Traffic is on the right, the roads are safe, very smooth.
I recommend it for a relaxing holiday with children.
