An amazing place!!! I strongly recommend an individual visit, and not with a tour group! Here you need much more time for a leisurely tour of the palace and a mandatory walk through the territory and the park with fountains (during an excursion visit you will not have time for this). We lived in a hotel within a 30-minute walk. In the middle of November, after 15-30, we slowly reached (there is no longer any heat) before the visit center, we bought tickets ourselves at the box office (at the time of the visit 75 dirhams (if you take 65 dirhams on the website)). We passed the inspection and got to the palace by bus. We walked around the territory in the light of day, then inspected the palace, and by sunset we went through the territory again. The beauty is unforgettable! The fountains around the palace and the labyrinths of bushes around them are very beautiful. 30 minutes after sunset, the laser performance begins - interesting and unusual.
At the entrance to the palace and further inside, there is an opportunity to take a photo with a photographer, then they put your photo on the interiors of the palace and views from the street. Some shots are successful, some are not - see for yourself whether you need it or not. And, yes, of course it's not free.
I don't see any point in describing what's in the palace, look at the photos better.

The Presidential Palace is definitely one of those places in Abu Dhabi that is a must-visit. It's just beautiful. But keep in mind that you can comfortably stay on the street next to the palace from November to February, during the rest of the months you will be like in a frying pan. It's cool inside, and the air conditioners are working. Comfortable buses will take you from the ticket offices to the palace and back too. I was on New Year's holidays, there were few people, the queue for tickets took 10-15 minutes, which, for example, cannot be said about the Dubai frame, where during this period the queue was for 2 hours, they did not even try. In general, holidays in Abu Dhabi, unlike Dubai, are quieter, there are significantly fewer people and somehow everything is calm, there is no feeling that you are in a large metropolis, where everyone is running somewhere, fussing, and there are fewer visitors from India and Pakistan.

I really liked this place: a beautiful palace, a beautiful area around. Inside, all the decorations are in gold and Arabic ornaments. It is interesting to see how presidents work: a meeting room, a library, a banquet hall. There is a room with gifts to the President of the UAE from other countries: the Korans impressed. There is also a mini-museum about the history of Arabic science. All the exhibits are signed in English, if you know, then it is clear what is where.
The ticket costs $ 18 (bought on a tripster with a Russian card with a transfer to rubles). So an adult ticket costs 65 dirhams. You can buy it on the palace's website (Russian cards do not pay). Clothing: all knees and shoulders are covered, both men and women. You don't need a handkerchief.
The beauty is incredible, super photos, worth a visit!

I came in transit for 1 day to Abu Dhabi.
Qasr Al Watan is one of the best places I have visited. Wonderful views, beautiful territory and architecture, wherever you look, everything fascinates and enchants with its beauty!
There is a very good organization here. To begin with, the entrance is not through the main arch, but from the side. Two passes for people who bought a ticket in advance on the website and for those who did not buy. The ticket price for an adult is 75 dihrams.
Clothes should cover the shoulders and knees! Do not shine through!
After buying/checking tickets, go through a bag check, as there is a list of some things that you cannot take with you.
And then you expect a bus that will take you straight to the Palace through the territory.
In the palace, the time on the ticket is unlimited. You can also go inside or out as many times as you want. The territory outside is very beautiful and clean. It's cooler inside, but it's also beautiful and clean. There are several halls inside, with small descriptions in English and Arabic.
There is a cafe where you can have a snack, the prices are slightly cheaper than at the airport.

Parking is paid 35 dirhams. There are two entrances for people, 1 - who have booked and bought tickets online, 2- people who will buy tickets on the spot, there is a bus waiting at the entrance to transport people to the palace. The palace is nice, huge, really a masterpiece. It's worth a look.
