It is a very beautiful park, with a delightful attraction, the Initiation Well. The well itself opens into a cave and through it you get to the lower part of the park. There are many towers and buildings on the territory. And before leaving the park there is a beautiful palace in the Manueline architectural style. It offers room interiors and views of the surrounding area. The ticket office is at the entrance, the ticket costs 11 euros. It is better to go to the ticket office first and buy a ticket, and only then take a queue. It's even better to buy a ticket online. Rigaleira Park is one of the most popular and interesting attractions in Sintra.
Of course, the place is a must-visit. We arrived at the opening by taxi from Lisbon, if there are three of you, then the cost for UBER is the same as for the metro, train, bus, if you add everything up, and if there are four of you, then you will also save.
We bought tickets online - we avoided the queue, but still had to return to the ticket office for an audio guide, but without a queue. There is no need to talk about the castle, it is a must-see.
The most visited palace in Sintra is on a par with Pena Castle. There is a large interesting park around. There are a lot of people. Of course, it's worth it, but, for example, the Montserrat manor garden is no worse.
The castle is mesmerizing with its splendor and wealth! The owner of the castle had good taste and a rich imagination. Pomp and grandeur in each building, which gives rise to various legends and myths about the first owner. Legends about the Massonian secret society, in which the owner of the castle was a member, mysterious buildings with secret doors and secret passages, play out scenes of mysterious ceremonies in the imagination of visitors and will not leave any visitor of the castle indifferent.
The house and garden are Masonic in the Neo-Gothic style. There were two times. We will be happy to go to the third one. Wonderful dark tunnels - you need a flashlight.
