A good hotel, but a little outdated in terms of furniture. Excellent cuisine and breakfast, a variety of dishes from all over the world. Helpful and friendly staff, always open to communication and help.
Radisson Blu Plaza Bangkok:
1. Ground floor, reception and service: convenient parking for check-in, met the concierge, helped to lift the suitcase - everything is on the level. At the request, an early check-in was held for free, no queues, everything is comfortable. The concierge helped to purchase tickets for Thai boxing, tk cards of Russian banks are not accepted and online purchase is accordingly unavailable. The main staff at the reception speaks very little English and has a strong accent that it is difficult to make out the words. But "on the fingers" everything is easy to explain, they do not refuse anything. Also on the ground floor there is a bar, nothing interesting, refreshing drinks under the air conditioner in the weather in Tae is always nice.
2. Room, room service and room cleaning: I saw reviews that smell of cigarettes, the rooms are "tired" and saw a lot. In my experience, it was cleaned perfectly, all standard kits, including bathrobes, etc. everything is in place. Of the advantages in the room, in addition to the fact that it is already visible, I will note the connection unit to the TV (hdmi, tulips, etc.), suddenly you want to connect a laptop and watch a movie, etc., but it's better to take the wires with you. Of the minuses, the rooms are really old, which can be seen by the cracked cobweb on the knee headboard of the bed, scuffs and chips in the bathroom and plumbing in general. Cleaning was constant, one day when I wanted to sleep, I pressed the not disturb button, after which they left a note under the door for me to call when it would be possible to clean the room, this is a plus. Regarding the room service, they said they can't without a card, we ask them to ask the restaurant if they can accept cash, I didn't call, I didn't find out in any of the 4 restaurants, but I think it's not a problem to pay cash at all and it was rather a communication problem at reception.
3. Food, restaurants, gym and swimming pool on site: the rooftop bar is excellent, beautiful, delicious. The restaurant on the second floor is open for breakfast, everything is basic. As for working outside of breakfast, I personally did not like it - there is a buffet option for a fix or on the menu. I had a terrible experience, because they don't understand English at all. I ordered tom yam, Greek salad and mojito. The mojito was ignored, Tom yam was so sharp that tears came out of my eyes, despite the fact that I am one of the people who really likes spicy and asked for a medium for sharpness, I ate shrimp and 2 spoons of soup. I haven't been to other places, because I preferred to see the places around.
