Friendly people willing to give all the information. Especially the receptionist named Kalandar. He speaks Russian and English fluently. Very good buffet for breakfast. Great location. The room with balcony is spacious and comfortable. Beautiful view of the Sea of Marmara!
A small cozy hotel in the old town almost on the shore of the Marmara Sea. We took a room with a balcony and a sea view - wonderful views! There is a small garden under the balcony. The convenient location of the hotel is 10 minutes to the central square with the main attractions, 26 minutes to the Galata Bridge and the marina of marine transport. There are many restaurants and cafes around - there is a place to sit and something to see.
The hotel staff is very friendly, the rooms are clean. The breakfasts are so-so, but you can always choose something to eat. We liked it, we recommend it
I really like staying at this hotel, wonderful view from the balcony, walking distance to the sights, very pleasant, polite and helpful staff! Customer focus on 5+!
I'm here now. Everything is on the level. Cleanliness, a huge bed. Ironing board, iron. 4 of our TV channels. Excellent breakfasts. There is really no porridge. A variety of cereals with milk, scrambled eggs, scrambled eggs, all kinds of cheeses, juices, fruits, sweets. Friendly staff.
A twofold feeling. The hotel is located in the tourist center, the building is old, beautiful, the breakfast is varied and delicious, the staff is friendly. But. An unsuitable mattress pad was laid on the bed, because of which it was unclear how to sleep, I had to take it off. The bathroom is cramped and the shower itself leaves much to be desired. The carpet is quite worn, the wallpaper on the walls is partially lagging behind. The same goes for various little things: there was no shoe spoon, cotton pads / sticks. In general, it does not pull five stars, but I put a solid 4 👌
Great location, 5 minutes walking distance to the central attractions. On the shore of the Bosphorus. The breakfasts are excellent, delicious fish and decent sausage. Scrambled eggs and omelette are being prepared. A small number of rooms. But that's a good thing. The cleaning is acceptable, the staff is friendly. On the downside, at the end of November it was very cold in the room, it was just very cold. An employee was invited to set up the air conditioner, worked for 2 days, then it blew out cold again. I opened the window, because it was warmer outside than in the brick building of the hotel)
Not a bad hotel. A good table. There is a parking lot.
But you need to keep in mind that these 5 stars are not European. The bathroom door handle is loose. The 3 sets of towels and slippers we were given were brought from the second time.
Also: I was surprised that in addition to the paid hotel, a deposit was required upon check-in. I'm sorry, but I've never seen this in 5-star hotels. After the bickering, they did not take the money.
That's not bad.
We lived in Radisson Sultan Ahmed from 20 to 29.03. The location is ideal if you are new and love history. All the main sights of Istanbul are within walking distance. My top: 2 cisterns (underground reservoirs), Museum of Archaeology. The main thing is that the hotel is on the shores of the Marmara Sea. After a noisy city, you get to a well-maintained embankment without a huge crowd of people. My husband ran in the morning and worked out on the playground. Minus - there is a car road between the embankment and the hotel. We took room 309 with a view of the mosque. It's quiet and the rooms are a little bigger. Excellent breakfasts with fresh juice, scrambled eggs and smoked salmon. We drank coffee on the terrace overlooking the sea. In fact, it is a boutique hotel. Three floors without an elevator. (Consider who walks badly.) I think the best choice is in Fatih. I definitely recommend it.
We stayed at the Radisson Sultanahmet Hotel from 01/05/2023 to 06/05/2023. The rest brought a lot of positive emotions: the room is comfortable, with a view of the Bosphorus, the staff is attentive and responsive (special thanks to the Kalandar manager, who suggested that you can see for free, where to go shopping and even shared a map for traveling to the subway, and all this in pure Russian), in the lobby there is a cafe with a varied menu. The hotel is conveniently located: it takes about an hour to get from the new Istanbul airport, and all the time along the main streets, bypassing the intricacies of small streets in the city center. And across the street from the hotel there is a pier for pleasure ships, on which you can take a two-hour walk along the Bosphorus. We will be happy to come again!
A normal hotel for this money, Istanbul is generally a very expensive city
It is well located, everything is nearby, the view is excellent, the staff is also well done
There were a couple of questions about the service, but we tried not to bother, not to spoil our rest
The rooms are too small... straight, very modest. But the balcony is large
The location is close to the historical center, all attractions are within walking distance. The rooms are very small. They took a room with a window on the Bosphorus, but in fact they did not open the windows, because a busy b-r Kennedy is passing nearby, very loud from cars. In general, it was not bad, the breakfasts were good. But on the last day she managed to get poisoned. Be careful, buns with cheese, cottage cheese and herbs may be stale.
A great hotel in a good location. One tram stop to Sirkeci Train Station or a 15-minute walk to the Blue Mosque. There are rooms with a balcony and views of the Marmara Sea. The breakfast is good, the service is normal, no kinks) the rooms are small but cozy. But the main thing, of course, is the location and the sea view!
It's a great location. Probably one of the best in the city. to put it mildly, mediocre breakfasts (children have absolutely nothing to eat). We forgot about the wife's birthday. There was a presidential suite, the bar was not replenished. For the first time in our lives, returning to the hotel, we had to buy drinking water.
A wonderful hotel. Sea view. The rooms are small, but generally cozy. We had a balcony overlooking the sea. The staff is very friendly and courteous. We had tea before check-in. My friend was given a cake at the DR and handed it to a song with congratulations. The next day, fruits were brought to us with wonderful wishes and thanks for our choice) breakfasts are generally good for Turkey, there are fruits, omelets, croissants.
I advise everyone.
