The train station is very conveniently located in the city center, you get out and see all the tourist spots at once. Within walking distance. You can easily have a snack, but no more, the toilets are small, cold and paid. There are some boutiques. If there is a lot of time before the train, then there is nowhere to expect much and drafts are all around, perhaps it is more comfortable in summer. Otherwise, everything is clear and organized.

Florence is in the center of the Italian boot, and there are many passing trains, despite the dead-end tracks.

But there are nuances.Buy tickets only on the Italian railways website, otherwise just stand in line for 40 minutes and get a non-registered ticket, without the train number and departure time.That is, you can use this ticket to get to your station by the end of the day, but I do not know which trains are suitable for me.Two employees of the station recommended me to go to two different trains on my ticket.I'm terrified!But the story turned out to have a happy ending.Italians are nice kind people, they help with great pleasure.

So - with your back to the station, facing the tracks, go to the right and along the outer wall of the station past the McDonald's until you see a storage room on the left.
