A harmonious quiet place at the entrance of the Belarusian Rakov with a temple, a church, its own gallery and a music school.
And next to it is a memorial stone to Sergei Pesetsky, an adventurer, smuggler, agent of all kinds of intelligence services, who described another Crayfish - Tortuga of the interwar Polish borderland in the autobiographical book "Lover of the Big Dipper".
This place has a story, I decided to share it so that most of you understand how important it is to visit this WONDERFUL PLACE!!!
Once a blind man got lost in the woods near this place, it seemed to him that he was all dead, he was exhausted from thirst and hunger, as he wandered for more than one day. One day, when he was wandering through the woods again, he heard the sound of water and of course went to her....
At the moment when he got as close as possible to the "noise" of water, he was afraid... to stumble and drown.
Fortunately, it was a spring sent to him by God himself so as not to die of thirst.
He could not drown in it, it did not pose a danger to him, at that moment the blind man drank water and washed his face...
At that moment the blind man regained his sight, he fell to his knees in tears and crossed himself three times, because this MIRACLE happened to him.
Since that amazing moment, this spring is considered a holy place, to drink water and wash there is considered a direct opportunity to protect yourself from diseases and life troubles.
The visit time is about 5-7 minutes, a cool place, in A.G. Rakov, which was a border trading town in the 19th century, with its own culture and atmosphere. There is something to see and where to spend time usefully!
It's a very atmospheric place. A spring with clean water. According to legend, this water cures eye diseases. The priest in the chapel is very positive, you can order a service from him. And most importantly, there is a font where you can plunge into and be cleansed of sins.
