The hotel is located 10 minutes from the tea plantation, which we visited the next morning. We were given a large room next to the reception with a view of the waterfall. A good bed, an outlet compatible with our chargers. It was only at 5.30 that the Buddhist monks began chanting and finished at 6.30. It was impossible to fall asleep under it.
Dinner and breakfast were average. We ate something, but it wasn't delicious.
It's fine to stop for one night. And immediately sleep in earplugs or headphones.
An elevator, of course, is an additional advantage - you don't have to carry suitcases up the stairs. There is also a swimming pool, but we did not go there.
We stayed here for 1 night in a 2-day excursion, only positive emotions remained: location next to a gorgeous waterfall, nice spacious room, stunning view from the pool 🤩 you can swim in the dark evening and early morning to the songs of Buddhists 😍 opposite you can see the neighboring Tea Bush hotel
The hotel is located in a very picturesque location overlooking the waterfall. There is also a path leading to it and a playground nearby. A serpentine car takes them down to the hotel (a minute), we get to the reception area, where everyone is very friendly, then a pan-steam elevator takes them to the floors. There are rooms in the main building, and there are 3 cabins (for 2 rooms each), after the restaurant along the pool overlooking the waterfall. We had the most extreme-chic view. In addition to the terrace with a view, there is also a balcony on the other side. We didn't see any monkeys, but they screamed terribly in the evening)
Dinner: it was delicious enough and there was live music, which immediately raises the bar of the hotel.
Yes, as in many Sri Lankan hotels, repairs are required, but spending one night is a good option. The only hotel in Sri Lanka where the suitcase was not only carried to the room, but also back.
