We took a two-day tour of Sri Lanka, checked into this hotel for the night. By the standards of our hotel where we stayed, it was just a castle. Fairly recent renovation, clean bed linen and towels in the rooms. The sockets duplicate the Euro and English standards, so you don't need adapters to charge your phones. They had dinner and breakfast in the restaurant, there was a buffet without any special frills, but hardly anyone would stay hungry either. During the dinner, live music was played by local musicians in an acoustic version without amplifying equipment. There was a pool with fresh clear water near the restaurant, we did not swim. There is a pedestrian descent to the waterfall, we went down in the morning and took pictures. The views from the hotel windows are impressive, mountains, waterfall, sea of green plants. One of the disadvantages is that the payment with the Union Pay card did not go through at the bar
It's a nice hotel, the rooms are big and clean, and we got a view of the waterfall. There are three waterfalls of incredible beauty near the hotel. There is a small outdoor swimming pool on site. Dinner buffet with a large selection of delicious dishes
A chic hotel with a view of the waterfall, a delicious buffet, nice rooms, friendly staff, very cozy at home, I would really like to return, just nostalgia
The view is wonderful. We spent one night, I didn't want to leave the balcony, it's so beautiful there. The room is nice and clean.
There is a swimming pool on site
The food in the restaurant is normal
We visited in December 2024
There was live music
The hotel is located in a very picturesque location overlooking the waterfall. There is also a path leading to it and a playground nearby. A serpentine car takes them down to the hotel (a minute), we get to the reception area, where everyone is very friendly, then a pan-steam elevator takes them to the floors. There are rooms in the main building, and there are 3 cabins (for 2 rooms each), after the restaurant along the pool overlooking the waterfall. We had the most extreme-chic view. In addition to the terrace with a view, there is also a balcony on the other side. We didn't see any monkeys, but they screamed terribly in the evening)
Dinner: it was delicious enough and there was live music, which immediately raises the bar of the hotel.
Yes, as in many Sri Lankan hotels, repairs are required, but spending one night is a good option. The only hotel in Sri Lanka where the suitcase was not only carried to the room, but also back.
The hotel is located 10 minutes from the tea plantation, which we visited the next morning. We were given a large room next to the reception with a view of the waterfall. A good bed, an outlet compatible with our chargers. It was only at 5.30 that the Buddhist monks began chanting and finished at 6.30. It was impossible to fall asleep under it.
Dinner and breakfast were average. We ate something, but it wasn't delicious.
It's fine to stop for one night. And immediately sleep in earplugs or headphones.
An elevator, of course, is an additional advantage - you don't have to carry suitcases up the stairs. There is also a swimming pool, but we did not go there.
We stayed here for 1 night in a 2-day excursion, only positive emotions remained: location next to a gorgeous waterfall, nice spacious room, stunning view from the pool 🤩 you can swim in the dark evening and early morning to the songs of Buddhists 😍 opposite you can see the neighboring Tea Bush hotel
The hotel is good, there is everything you need. We stayed at the hotel for a day, but we were satisfied with everything. Breakfast and dinner are varied. View of the waterfall from the hotel.
Gorgeous views from the room to the tea plantations and the waterfall! In the evening, it's nice to swim in the pool, and at night you can see fireflies. In the evening, there is live music on the buffet, there is a choice of dishes, you will not stay hungry. The hotel left a pleasant impression.
Just a gorgeous place, a wonderful hotel for comfort and service. We stayed for a 2-day excursion, everything was like in a fairy tale, wonderful views, mountains, waterfall, clean air. Delicious breakfasts and dinners. We got a lot of impressions
It's a cool hotel. We were on a two-day tour and spent the night at the hotel. Spacious, clean rooms, air conditioning, good hot water pressure. The rooms were overlooking the waterfall. The food is excellent, everything is delicious and varied. A good bar: we drank cocktails - excellent, there is billiards.

We stayed here as a group during a tour of Sri Lanka. We had a bad room. Unfortunately. Clean linen/ that 's the main advantage. The room was large, family-friendly and its main attraction was a private observation deck at the waterfall. Delicious buffet breakfasts and dinners. You can play billiards . The excellent location of the hotel, the insane beauty is the biggest attraction of the hotel. Maybe / there are good rooms, I do not know. The staff is hospitable.
The hotel is in an amazing location. You need to settle in cottages. Preferably extreme ones. The views of the waterfalls and the valley are breathtaking.
An outdated hotel. Although there are already rooms and renovated. They're really good. We were a big company... someone got the old ones, someone got a great one. The food is ordinary..., delicious and fresh. There is a view of the waterfall from almost all rooms. He was just gorgeous from ours.
The hotel is very beautiful, the staff is friendly. Good restaurant service. Convenient access and parking. Crazy view from the room. The rooms are clean and tidy.
It's an incredible experience from this hotel, but we must not forget that it's cold in the mountains. Unfortunately, we were not warned about this on the tour.
The waterfall is mesmerizing and the views are simply a delight.
The most beautiful place on the planet Earth, clean air, waterfalls all around and mountains of tea plantations. A gorgeous swimming pool and a restaurant with live music, I recommend it to everyone
As well as many who leave a review here, we were on a 2-day excursion, and spent the night here. Beautiful view from the room, and what a view from the pool to the waterfall. Dinner and breakfast buffet, I would say not very much, the choice is small, dinner with live music, super.
The hotel is a little tired, but if it was in perfect condition now, then I would have to give it 7 out of 5 points. The location is simply magical: our room had two windows and a balcony overlooking two waterfalls. It's an indescribable feeling. I strongly recommend staying at this hotel for at least a couple of days.
An old hotel with the same rooms, but the view is just GREAT if you are above the third floor because from the second floor you can partially see the roof of the building in front.
The comfort of the sleeping area is satisfactory, and the shower and toilet are tin, the toilet stands as if it was designed by the dumbest architect in Sri Lanka, because my knees rested against the wall along with my head and left shoulder, although I am of average height and build, I think we had room 211.
There are good places on site where you can sit with a beautiful view.
There is a waterfall nearby.
A nice hotel in the mountains with stunning panoramas. The Ramboda Waterfall is 2 minutes from the hotel. The breakfast is good. Buffet, a large selection. It is better to close the balcony and hide things, there are a lot of monkeys who enter the rooms as if they were at home.
