One of the few truly preserved town halls in Belarus in the form in which it was built. Another uniqueness is that it is not just a town hall, but also a complex of warehouses and retail premises. There are very few such examples where merchants' shops are located directly in the town hall in Europe, and in Belarus there is one in Nesvizh. There were weights and measures in the town hall to resolve all trade disputes between sellers and buyers over underweight and underweight.
The building is perfectly preserved, has not been damaged by wars and revolutions. Now there are children in it and, frankly, they can only be envied
A very beautiful and quiet place!
The old town hall and the courtyard are beautiful. The most amazing thing is that the building around the town hall is a new model, built in the 90s according to old drawings, so now an ordinary secondary school is located there! The children who study there can only be envied)
The structure is impressive, the site is well maintained, beautiful rosehip bushes, the grass is neatly trimmed, military equipment is behind the fence, monuments to the heroes of the Soviet Union, the Avgans. Plus the temple opposite. In general, there are a lot of interesting things in one small area.
The gymnasium is located in the building of the town hall. You can easily enter the territory of the institution and feel the breath of time. Obviously, the spirit of antiquity should inspire students to study successfully. The entrance is from the Postal Street.
It certainly looks beautiful and impressive. What I would like to note is the preserved style of the original structure and the harmonious color scheme. For her sake, it is worth coming to Shklov as an extension of your historical and cultural impressions of the architecture of this town and, of course, to see and visit the temple there.
A wonderful monument of architecture. Now it is a modern school. The only one in the city of Shklov teaches in one shift. Although parents collect money "for the needs of the school" as in other schools))
It looks very decent, it's nice that it has been restored. But it is depressing that it is not used for its intended purpose, the building is given over to a school.
It was Sunday, it turned out to be closed. Everything is closed in the city! You won't even be able to have a snack in the cafe because they are closed!)) and so a small, clean town, sparsely populated, roads, as in all of Belarus, moved out of the center, asphalt ended its life))
We were on Sunday after 16.00, we didn't even get into the territory, the gates are locked around the perimeter, so if you can get inside, it's definitely not at that time. We only looked at it from afar, but it's still beautiful, so 5 ⭐
