The hotel is very cozy and modernly renovated. The room is clean. There is a small kitchen with a stove and microwave on the 2nd floor. On the second floor there is a beautiful veranda for evening gatherings.
Friendly and helpful Maka, thank you for her work!
A very cool idea is roller shutters on the 1st floor, which will make total darkness in the room for your sound sleep!
The only disadvantage of our stay was rotovirus, the whole hotel was sick, unfortunately, but this is almost unavoidable!

We had a rest with the company in early June at this hotel. I would like to express my special gratitude to the manager of the hotel, Maka. A very friendly and sensitive girl. Any of our requests were instantly fulfilled.
The rooms are cozy, bright and clean. The linen was changed every 5 days. The refrigerator and air conditioner were frozen. The hotel has a cozy balcony where we sat in the evenings and enjoyed the warm weather, met people from other cities.The beach is a 3-minute walk away. Nearby there are pebble and sandy beaches. On the way to the beach, we ate in Maria's dining room. It is very tasty and homemade.

We were at the hotel from October 1 to October 7 .I really liked the location of the hotel, close to the sea and to all the entertainment in Gagra.The hotel is small, very cozy, the rooms have everything you need, a very big plus of the hotel is that there is a veranda on which all the rooms gathered in the evenings, got acquainted and had a great time! I do not know how much to drink to fall asleep in this hotel! ? This is a horror! It's like you're lying on the track and the racers are racing around you... The location of the hotel is just terrible. If you close the window, it becomes stuffy, it is dangerous to turn on the air conditioner, it blows directly on the roof, About the hotel itself is a separate topic. The shower stalls are tiny, and the toilet stinks of sewage. There are no blankets, there are blankets with a sheet. The TV is not working. The Internet is barely there, the lights are turned off. Once again, I am convinced that it is better not to contact a travel agency. If it wasn't for Biblio Globus, I would have taken the money and moved out of this hotel.

I arrived from this cozy and hospitable hotel only yesterday. The review is not on order. I liked it very much. A cozy room, it has everything - a comfortable bed, a toilet with a shower, a TV, air conditioning, a refrigerator and a kettle with cups. The room is cleaned at the first request. The reception is very sincere. There is also a kitchen, but I ate outside the hotel. A very intimate terrace where you can have tea or coffee with mountain views. In the afternoon, there is no sun on it anymore and it is very comfortable to rest. Any excursions can be booked at the hotel. The sea is no more than a five-minute walk away. I advise everyone to come, you will not regret it.

Do not try to plan a vacation at this hotel! All laudatory reviews are 100% written to order.Everywhere in the hotel there is terrible dirt and unsanitary conditions, everything is broken, lockers, shower stalls, cracked windows, smudges on the walls.The kitchen is a horror:the microwave does not heat, the tile does not work, there are no appliances.The kettle in the room smelled of molten plastic, the refrigerator did not freeze from the word at all.A couple of days after checking in, a basin with dirty bed linen was found on top of the shower stall. There was no cleaning or linen change.The much-vaunted veranda-balcony is a smoking room where no one ever cleans, as in the entire hotel.We talked with other guests-everyone was shocked and regretted the ruined vacation.The fact that the sea is nearby also turned out to be no plus in any way-in this place, the entire beach is in sewage with a corresponding smell on the coast (and swimming in these marine waters, everyone inevitably fell ill with rotavirus.The whole hotel was sick when we were there.In general, dear people, take care of yourself, and be careful when choosing a vacation destination

Here we rested at the hotel for a week with a small child.In principle, the atmosphere in the hotel is kind, there are many shops and cafes nearby.It's bad, the service station is cleaned in the room on request and then reluctantly.We ourselves tried to keep clean and even swept and took out the garbage.It's not difficult, but it's not really a case.Great,'that they gave a clothes dryer to the room, because the humidity is high and nothing dries on the shared balcony.

The hotel is located 5 minutes from the sea. The rooms are nice, clean, cafes and shops are within walking distance. But we did not like the kitchen, the microwave visually works, but the food does not heat, it is very problematic to use the stove (we waited 30 minutes for the water to boil to cook the eggs), it is forbidden to cook fish and fish products, and in general everything is done in the kitchen so that they do not cook. If there are cafes, then everything is OK. And another disadvantage of this hotel (or we were so lucky) is that in 14 days we cleaned and changed the linen with towels only ONCE, and upon departure, they said that there was piggishness in the room, although there was nothing dirty except pebbles on the floor, we even took out the garbage after ourselves (after we checked out we were sitting at the reception from the room and waiting for a taxi, we heard a lot of things that were not pleasant). They probably wanted us to wash the floors and generally clean up for the next guests)).

We rested in this wonderful place in July 2022. The hotel is in a great location. Everything inside is modern, stylish, well thought out. Panoramic Windows, curtains, blinds, TV, refrigerator, beautiful bed linen, comfortable beds and pillows. The veranda is beautiful, where you can have a snack or relax on a soft sofa. Air conditioning is available in the lobby and corridors. The hotel is perfectly clean.And of course a wonderful Poppy. Attentive, tactful, caring. It is very pleasant to relax in such a place. We want to come back!

We had a rest in August 2020. Convenient location: close to the sea, close to shops, pharmacy, cafes, travel agents.
The rooms are clean, equipped with modern furniture, good bed linen, dishes. Kettle, refrigerator, TV. On the floor there is a kitchen with a stove, microwave and all necessary utensils (there is only one inconvenience: you can not give meat and fish, because there is no hood. But there are so many inexpensive meals around that it didn't bother us). There is a washing machine.
The main advantage is the track!!! It's nice there at any time of the day: comfortable sofas and tables, you sit and enjoy the view of the mountains!!
Special thanks to the managing director Maka. A real hostess! Friendly, caring, ready to help in everything. Even put the laundry on and hang it up so that our things are clean and dry by the time we return from the tour!
In general, Kristina (the hostess of the hotel) was lucky to find such a worker.
By the way, thanks to Kristina too. Always in touch. Even at the stage of selecting a hotel, she told me everything, showed me photos, gave me a discount on two rooms!

Horror, they gave me a room with a constantly noisy ventilation pipe by the window. There is no sea view. Another room is on the noisy motorway and the slamming car doors of the parking lot of a large hotel. There is a smoking room on the terrace. They don't clean it up.

We were at this hotel in July 2021, together with a furry friend (with a German Pomeranian). This hotel is a real doc friendly - it's a huge plus. We had a vacation in August 2020. We were in Abkhazia for the first time and were just delighted with Abkhazia, the city of Gagra, the RD Hotel. Upon arrival, the Mac administrator met us. I posted it right away. She is a very pleasant girl, hospitable, responsive, and executive. The hotel is perfectly clean and this is also due to Maki. The room is clean and cool, because Maka turned on the air conditioner in advance. Nice bed linen, cotton. Two towels. The shower cabin. Kettle, dishes. The hotel has a kitchen-dining room equipped with everything you need: electric stove, microwave, pots, pans and other utensils. There are also tables where you can have lunch. There is a great veranda with tables and sofas. In the morning you can drink tea there and look at the mountains!The hotel is very conveniently located. There are many cafes, canteens, shops, tents with street vendors nearby. The sea is a 5-minute walk past the stadium. The embankment is close, along which everyone walks in the evenings. There is a public transport stop and a taxi stand nearby.
I recommend this hotel for a vacation! You won't regret it!

We were the first in the 2020 season. We were very well received, went to a meeting due to early check-in (it was 5 a.m.), the manager Kristina was always in touch with us. A very nice girl named Maka met at the hotel, as it turned out later, the administrator, escorted her to the room, showed everything and told her. She was unobtrusive, attentive and very responsive! In the evening and in the morning, she always offered to treat me to coffee on the terrace overlooking the mountains, which was incredibly pleasing. I had a moment when both washing machines were busy, and it was very necessary to wash by the evening, we agreed with Maka and left it to her, she washed everything and hung it up to dry. We felt almost at home in this hotel, and our pet (dog) was generally over the moon, he was loved there (I think he longs for a vacation at the RD-hotel)
There are no complaints about room service, ask them to clean your room, change your linen every 4-5 days. Clean, delicious-smelling hotel-type linen (it's nice that it's not from an IKEA-type mosmarket), white towels (2 pcs per person). She did not specify about toilet paper, we just bought the package right away, but there is no freshener, but it is not so expensive (well, if you really need it).
Everything in the room is as described, if I'm not mistaken, we had a standard. The bed with a mattress is also of a hotel type (I checked with Kristina, because it was important for us!) Two cabinets, each with an outlet. There is a separate bedside table with a mirror and a small pouf, a wardrobe. Mini fridge, but with a freezer. A teapot, two coffee mugs, two glasses, saucers and a large dish! We liked the room very much, everything was very good. There are all three wishes that you would like to change or supplement:
1. Mirror the windows, otherwise it is not convenient to spend the whole vacation with curtains. We didn't really want to please the guests of the neighboring hotel with our view)))
2. Well, I think that it follows from the first one, it was not convenient to make up more light (at least in the shower).
3. There is a great lack of a full-length mirror (or at least from the top of the head to the waist)
And I recommend the hotel, the location is very good, there are a lot of cafes and shops within walking distance of the sea.

Apparently, relatives write positive reviews (solid familiarity). I can't remember a more creepy place. The hotel is not being handled at all, there is a lot of dirt and breakdowns. There is zero service. Despite the fact that prices are not cheap, we did not expect anything special from Abkhazia in terms of hotels and service, we are unpretentious, but even we experienced people were struck by this HORROR. The verandah is eternal in bulls, it's just a smoking room. The receptionist is always BUSY and always unhappy, the rooms are falling apart, they were in several, they only thought about us, but they met people from the hotel, poor devils. The hotel opposite the grand is the same septic tank, alas. People are rude and indifferent. Of the advantages, the sea is really nearby, but the plus instantly turns into a minus when you witness a sewer drain in several places. Of course, we don't go to Abkhazia anymore, we are very disappointed, especially with fake reviews about this hotel. And there is a big problem with decent cafes, canteens or restaurants, they simply do not exist in the area. The hotel has a kind of kitchen (killed) with a tile on which it is unrealistic to cook, due to its breakage and heating for 40 minutes. The windows in some rooms are broken, the old showers are shaking, the beds are falling apart, the air conditioner was clearly broken, but it seemed to be blowing somewhere and something... you just won't wait for cleaning and changing clothes, after long and persistent reminders, they may look in on you once. The hotel lacks staff and repairs, lacks service, equipment and furniture upgrades. Yes, what can I say, you can write for a very long time, just think carefully when choosing this hotel, well, or you will have strong nerves, by the way you will not have to sleep at night, because people will yell under the windows all night long, also near the highway and unreal racing with roaring engines every night. And of course, the well-known rotovirus in these places (and in nearby places) will complement your vivid impressions on your long-awaited vacation. Nothing personal, God knows, we write as is and even not all of our impressions yet. The bitter truth is what it is. I hope my review will warn someone, because my husband and I, alas, read only fake reviews here before the trip!!! And no need to beg for good reviews from customers, it is known that people rarely write unless they have a boil or if they are not asked!

I'll start with the pros: the hotel itself is very nice, clean, compares favorably with local housing in Gagra, but the whole catch was in the manager Angela, who apparently had never been to a real hotel in her life.
It all started even before we went there with the girl.. before we could throw our suitcases and decompose, they began to show us where it was, how to use it, etc., and at the end they added "if you suddenly get poisoned and dirty your underwear, wash it." Next, we learned that it is necessary to return before 23:00 (although there is not much to do after 11, but still it is not very pleasant for someone to limit our time on vacation).
On the second day, we were poisoned, and found out that toilet paper is supposed to be the only one for the entire rest period and by the way, soap was not given at check-in, the air freshener was also missing.
On the second floor there is a great veranda with glass tables, comfortable sofas and a good view, but even here this "angela" managed to spoil everything. It is impossible to sit quietly, she occasionally hangs around there and every time she needs to insert her two pennies and interrupt the normal flow: "clean up the ashtrays", "Throw only small garbage into this urn, throw large garbage into some other place", and even when we were already sitting at the reception, the girl bought 0.5 soda and finished it, and threw it away, to which, in response, the manager managed to make a remark here that she needed to pour the water first, and then throw it in the trash (it was hard for her to carry garbage), and every time you leave the hotel: "Where did you go? And what time will you be back?" and so on. It feels like she worked at the turntable area for 20 years, and then got a job at this wonderful hotel.
I would put 4+ for the hotel itself,
but for such a "wonderful service" and for such incredible laziness of the manager, who absolutely does not want to do anything except talk all day with people like her and watch TV series - a score of 0

Apparently, the staff read the reviews and corrected themselves. We had a rest in early July, everything was fine and calm. It's clean everywhere. No one interfered with the rest, the sound insulation is good. The sea is nearby, 3 minutes away.
