A beautiful place and a view from the tower, inside it is good to escape from the heat. but there is almost nothing inside, there is not much to look at.
The Red Tower is a great place with beautiful views. It is worth coming to it just to admire Alanya from a height. The cost is about 60 liras.

Kyzylkule (Red Tower) is a unique medieval defensive masterpiece of the Mediterranean of the 13th century: harbor, shipyards, Alanya fortress. This masterpiece was built during the reign of the Seljuk Ruler Alaaddin Keykubat I and the master of construction from Aleppo Ebu Ali Reha el Kettani (Ebu Ali Reha el Kettani) for defensive purposes against enemies coming from the sea.

An unexpectedly interesting place, with history and energy. Stunning views of the surrounding area. The beach at the tower will be appreciated by those who do not know how to swim and love sand.
The Red Tower is one of the main attractions of Alanya, a symbol of the city, depicted on its coat of arms. A powerful and formidable structure. It was built in the XIII century for the defense of the fortress and the shipyard. The octagonal tower, 33 meters high, is located in the port and consists of 5 floors. The museum of Alanya is located on the ground floor, a steep staircase leads to the upper floors, which offer beautiful views of the city and the port. There is a water collection tank in the middle of the tower. And of course, as with all buildings, the Turkish flag is flying over the tower.
We looked at the tower and the shipyard, we really liked it, it's impressive, on the way to the shipyard, you can take a lot of beautiful photos on the wall. Ticket 12 lira only for the tower, 17 lira tower+shipyard, 23 lira tower+shipyard+damlatash cave.
The tower will turn 800 years old in 2026!!!
The height of the Kyzyl Kule tower is 33 meters, which is approximately 11 floors of a typical high-rise building, there is no elevator. It is difficult to climb up, the steps are high and not very comfortable.
Other metric parameters of the tower: diameter of 29 meters, wall thickness — 12.5 meters. The real floors are only 5 — ground, ground, suspended, open floor (roof) and terrace.
The terrace offers a very beautiful view of the city and the seaport.
I wasn't particularly eager to go to this tower, but it exceeded all expectations. It's interesting inside, the view from it is good. At the entrance to it, you can buy a combo ticket to the cave, the shipyard and this tower.
A very steep staircase For the elderly, it will be a problem to climb up
The ticket costs 17 liras including a visit to the shipyard, a small amount to take beautiful photos
There is a small beach under the fortress walls where the sea is the calmest in Alanya
An interesting place, you will be in Alanya, be sure to take a look. From the top of the tower there is a picturesque view: the sea, the pier, the city. Entrance ticket in autumn 2020, 10 liras.
