Great environment, super nice and friendly staff, very inspiring conditions and an overall positive experience. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to have a healthy and athletic lifestyle.
Initial Review (4 June, 2023): My experience visiting the "Reebok" sports club left a profoundly negative impression. The inappropriate use of space and absolute incompetence of the staff made me question their professionalism.
Firstly, the reception of the club raises many questions. Being there in twos or even threes, they are unable to answer the simplest questions, referring to the manager instead. It's unclear what they are doing there if all issues are supposed to be solved by one person?
The conditions in the club added to my disappointment. Instead of a functional cloakroom intended for the storage of outerwear, there's only a cramped changing room with extremely small lockers. If you came to the club in a jacket or coat, you will have to cram all your clothes into this tiny cell, which causes discomfort and tension.
And this is yet another confirmation of the club's wasteful use of space. The irony is that there is a fairly large store of sports goods here, but they couldn't find room for a well-equipped cloakroom for customer comfort.
The workout area seems too small, most machines are represented in a single copy. At the same time, the cardio area is disproportionately large, and I've never seen all the treadmills occupied. Numerous empty halls, wide corridors, and large spaces are used ineffectively. There's not even a basic area for warm-up and stretching - instead, a corner in the training area is allocated, which does not contribute to a comfortable workout.
The club's inventory is a separate topic. There are not enough barbells and dumbbells, and visitors rarely return them to their place after use. The staff does not keep order, and visitors have to "hunt" for the necessary weights.
The most disappointing thing in this whole situation is that it seems the club's management does not care about their customers. It seems that their solution to the problem of the influx of customers boils down to a simple increase in the cost of the subscription, instead of rethinking the use of space and improving service. The cost of the subscription, which was unreasonably high already earlier, only increased this year.
It's really a shame that such a well-known brand as "Reebok" has allowed these kinds of miscalculations in their club's work. Based on my experience, I strongly do not recommend this club for workouts.
First Update (12 July, 2023): After leaving a comment, representatives from Reebok reached out to me. A conversation with the gym manager, Soso, took place, but ultimately, it led to no resolution. He responded to all my remarks, including those listed in the comment, saying that it's a franchise and they can't change anything. When I mentioned the lack of benches and the possibility of adding more, he simply said that it wouldn't make a difference; if more were added, they would also be occupied. At this point, logic left the conversation and I saw no reason to continue it. There was also an attempt to appease me with a free training session with a coach and an invitation for tea. But I don't need any of this, what I need is a problem solution, or at least to see that the club cares about these issues. However, a month later, nothing that I mentioned has changed. Other issues have surfaced, related to group training sessions, about which I will write later. But I want to note that so far, I've only met one person there who is open to conversation and listens to what you say, and that's the manager Zhora.
A very cool club, a large territory, there is Parking. Several floors with halls, a swimming pool, a cafe and much more. Separately, you need to allocate a 50 m swimming pool, with areas : Jacuzzi, sauna, hammam. There is a small swimming pool specially for water aerobics.
There are questions about the design of the changing rooms on the ground floor, in the pool area. Lockers and showers are opposite each other. All the "water" dust from the shower fills the locker room space, stuffiness, humidity and the most unpleasant thing is fungus in the corners of the lockers. On the floor above, things are better in the gym locker rooms, because the mental zone is slightly away from the lockers.
And also, I would recommend giving out two towels, not one. The big one is for the shower, and the second one is for the gym. For here, apparently, there is no hygiene culture, namely, to lay something on the bench during the exercise.
As a fitness expert, I can find a lot to complain about in small things. In general, the club deserves attention! Many sports under one roof!
I've only been going to the pool for a year and a half, regularly. What is good is that the pool is large 50m and there are enough paths.
For those who swim on their backs, there is a chance to break their heads, because there are no flags, after a couple of bumps you will begin to navigate along the ceiling.
What's bad: a very uncomfortable locker room, wet, narrow, small combined with a narrow shower, as a result, all dry things are slightly wet and you will change clothes standing in a puddle.
It turned out to be a very common story that the towels ran out and you won't have enough!, maybe if they bring it they will give it out in an hour, you will need to ask the cleaner to bring it to you.
It also happened that they didn't give out towels for a whole month, well, something broke down with their logistics and that was it, but they warned about it.
Another service: there were a couple of times that some kind of entertainment events were held in the fitness center, but they did not warn that the pool would be closed for several days (sometimes they send an email), as a result they would not apologize and would not renew the subscription.
You can get used to everything, of course, the first times you will spit, but then accept that the alternatives are no better.
The repair is at a height. The pool is great. You can swim endlessly.
According to classes with a coach, of course it is better to choose a coach carefully, we are all different and all coaches are suitable for us.
A large sports club with everything you need. There is a cardio, strength training, yoga, martial arts gym, swimming pool, spa and restaurant. You can practice both independently and with a trainer. If you are from Russia, then there are Russian-speaking and English-speaking coaches. They explain everything in detail, follow the technique of exercises and listen to the wishes. Modern simulators with intelligent systems. Of the disadvantages, it can be noted that there are always a lot of people. There are always a lot of people in the early morning and late evening, queues for gym equipment and jostling in the locker rooms. Otherwise, everything is fine. There are also no prices on the website, nothing is reported by phone either, they invite you to come to the club. After that, the manager conducts a short tour and only after that calls the price.
A very good sports club, good managers, as well as employees. The restaurant is wonderful, everything is delicious. The pool is clean, as well as the gym is straight top. I Advise Everyone.
I've been going to this gym for more than a year - I like everything. Everything is clean enough.
Sometimes friends complain that the service is bad here: when, for example, they come to squash (this is not included in the subscription), they have to wait a long time at the reception, then look everywhere for a long time for a person who will open a squash hall, etc.
But if you have a subscription, or you do not plan to play squash, then you will not have to wait anywhere.
The gym itself is great, but there are many disadvantages: the locker room on the ground floor is always wet (who thought of putting showers right where the lockers are?). The locks on the lockers often break, and to open them, you need to go to the reception. And if you leave the pool, how do you go there if your clothes are in the locker?
On the third floor, the sale of protein bars has not been working for a hundred years (And there is a terrible smell in the hall itself - someone decided that the smell of the air freshener "perfume from the union" would interrupt the smell of sweat - but no, this is not so.
And the sauna shop has been broken for a year now, but no one is doing anything about it.
An excellent sports complex in terms of equipment and service. But only 3 stars - because there are no monthly subscriptions, respectively, you need to pay at least a year at once-and this is expensive and very inconvenient.
Excellent new equipment, halls for aerobic and anaerobic training, a beautiful Olympic-standard swimming pool. The content of chlorine in the pool is extremely insignificant, underwater robots for cleaning the pool are admired every time)
Unfortunately, there are very gray schemes in terms of finances. Under the pretext that the terminal is not working at the moment, they ask for cash or a transfer to a person's account, the terminal has been "not working" for a couple of years. In addition, we agreed on a corporate discount, but every specialist you get to calls a different cost. For old customers, the program costs more than just coming from the street. Coaches also say that their coaches are being paid late. I feel uncomfortable studying in such an unclean place.
One of the top clubs in Yerevan. Subscription prices are expensive, but this is the norm for Yerevan. The coach - to put it mildly, there are no coaches there. A personalka is when a coach runs around the hall between 5-25 people and directing them not to the program, but where it is free. Well, if there are few people, the coach is on the phone. No one cleans up the shells in the gym, including the coach. It's very stuffy, even though there are air conditioners.
I can't help but note that the halls, changing rooms and showers are clean. A shower towel is given, but only one.
Sales department managers have a separate impression: girls are friendly, men - if you ask them what they are not interested in, they start to be rude and say that you have no rights under the contract, the staff is always right.
Tatev is the most customer-oriented.
PS In principle, Yerevan has one of the best clubs, if not for the mess in the gym and the coach.
There is a rather unique installation with an artificial wave for surfing. I took a lesson with an instructor, it turned out to be very exciting. The guys explained the technique perfectly and at the end of the lesson I was already riding without help!
I like everything
Clean, warm - quite modern exercise equipment - swimming pool, sauna, everything is normal - it's really expensive - but the market dictates its prices
Of the minuses, the children's room does not work on Sunday, not convenient card formats, but the hall is clean, everything works, a large swimming pool, spacious
Probably the best fitness club in Yerevan
Great pool
And the gym
In the sauna, however, seats are repaired all the time
And the subscription is quite expensive
The children came for the summer holidays. They didn't know where to send them to study. Since they always go to fitness, they were very upset that there was no place to practice in the summer. But we were advised to contact here. Are they already going to study with her?We have never regretted that we chose Reebok. The staff is very helpful. And high-class fitness.Everything is at the highest level.
We booked squash for the second time at this club, the first time everything was without problems, but the second time there was some kind of technical error and upon arrival all the courts were occupied. They couldn't offer us anything but to wait for an hour and drink tea. It is a very strange attitude towards clients and their time, considering that this is the most expensive club in Yerevan. I don't see any point in coming here anymore if this is how the management corrects their mistakes here.
In confirmation, I attach a written complaint that the girl wrote
If in the option for a trial session for which you will pay 20,000, be prepared that nothing will be explained to you, neither where the locker room is located, nor where to get a towel (by the way, you will pay separately for it), where the spa area is located. Be prepared for the fact that you will wander in a Kafkaesque hell on three floors, asking everyone in a row, looking for doors to locker rooms that are indistinguishable from doors to toilets, looking for areas that are not signed in any way, banging assholes with other visitors in micro locker rooms, etc. You will have one towel for everything, and even for money you will not be given a second one. Therefore, all visitors polish their equipment (good, by the way) with sweaty backs and necks. Also, there will be no wardrobe, you will pack your jacket with the rest of your belongings in a micro locker.
The most negative experience.
In short, at least go to a trial session before taking a subscription to see if this is right for you.
I signed up for a massage with a woman for a certain slot in a week. I come and find out that a man will do the massage.
As a result: I lost time, I moved the slot, the standard "sorry" from the SPA.
For the equipment 5, everything else is darkness and horror.
There are a lot of people, you don't expect such a crowd for this money :)
It's stuffy in the hall.
The main disadvantage is the attitude of visitors to the inventory: did you work out? Why clean it up, just drop it! Using a bench press as a shelf for phones is a great idea, no one may need it :)
Employees don't care about the mess, it's just that "it's so accepted here"
In the photo is not an expressive illustration at all, just walking around the hall and taking pictures is not in the mood
I take off one star only for not giving out s/p to employees for months and the best coaches go to competitors. Residents of the club remain without the best coaches
Everything is fine, except the changing rooms and the shower. Mold on the ceiling in the shower and cramped locker rooms spoil all the positive impressions.
Not a bad sports complex. Dear, but the cleanliness of the locker rooms is very lame. Hair dryers for drying hair are broken. Isn't it possible to upgrade them for such prices? The gym itself is very small, apart from the cardio zone. The only thing that made me happy was the Olympic 50m pool!
I do NOT recommend Reebok.
In my ranking of all fitness clubs, it is the most unintuitive.
The pool does not meet the requirements of FINA. It's not even suitable for small-town competitions. Poor ventilation, a cramped bowl, no viewing balconies, and generally no seats for competition spectators. It is clear that the developer did not take qualified consultations during the construction of the aqua zone.
The towers are closed, there is no marking for spinners, the sides are uncomfortable and without running boards. Children get stuck, it's dangerous. The children's section is there until the first dry drowning.
One of the advantages is a funny bottom vacuum cleaner. The rover is like this, I liked it very much)
The service is friendly but not))
A man fainted in the hammam. The staff does not monitor the ventilation + poor ventilation.
To get to the gym, I ran twice from the 3rd to the 1st floor - they didn't help, then to the sales department to show where the door is. None of the doors on the entire floor of the gym led to the gym. A locked (!) door without markings from inside a separate changing room led to the gym, which you pass by if you have already undressed in the lower changing room.
To hand over the towel, there's a secret room behind you, there's a crack open around the corner, and over there, you have to click a card and put your nerves in a bucket. I didn't understand where to get a towel at all, the technician brought it to me.
The men kicked me out of the hammam because it's male. The neighboring hammam turned out to be shared. There is no female. The markings are in Armenian. It's not clear at all in this club
