Terrible attitude towards guests of your hotel. This is not the first year we have been vacationing with you, we booked a hotel for September 1, but due to health problems we are unable to come. Absolutely indifferent attitude of the hotel staff to this situation, to return the cost of the reservation. They even refuse to move the dates to the next season. I would like to note that you work just for money, and not for people! Terrible attitude and indifferent approach. I called you from August 15 to resolve the issue, no one even called me back. Think before choosing this hotel, most likely you will be deceived!
Lovely rooms. Clean, comfortable and beautiful. Delicious breakfasts! Lots of mirrors, stylish interior. They settled in quickly. Beautiful well-maintained territory.
You can only go here if you want to get the experience of a 1-star motel at the price of 5 stars.
We stayed with friends at this hotel in October 2023, were supposed to stay for 3 nights, escaped after 2. This entertainment cost 2500 euros.
We had 2 rooms booked, one of the rooms was not ready upon arrival. A room is not ready for 2500, seriously? There were no apologies on this score, we were not told at the arrival where the pool was, where the breakfast was, or that the pool was closed until May the day after our arrival. Outside + 25 and the sun!! And these were the last sunny days in the next 2 weeks + also weekends.
The situation with the pool was as follows: we call the reception on the first day, ask to book sun beds, they say to call back "tomorrow" at 9 am. We call back in the morning, at the reception they say sweetly "now we will connect with the pool", they connect, and the employee wildly rudely and arrogantly informs that the pool is closing right now, to the question "why", he said with the intonation "are you a fool?" that it will rain. Let me remind you, +25 and the sun. There was no rain that day or the next, there was no rain even in the forecast for that day.
Let's get back to the settlement. They were extremely arrogant and rude to us. For 2500 euros, apparently it is so accepted? We asked for rooms nearby, the hotel is filled at ~ 20% maximum, but they did not have rooms nearby. We settled into a ready-made room, it turned out to be 2 categories lower than the booked one, without a bath, without a view, with 1 bed, although there should have been two, tiny. Then another 40 (!!!) for minutes we tried to get from the girl at the reception just the rooms that we booked. No upgrades, etc., just what we paid for, for 40 minutes a girl with the name of Ivan at the reception could not understand our very good English and a request to give normal numbers.
After 40 minutes they figured it out, one of the rooms was not ready again because THEY DID NOT EXPECT IT. What? That we want to get what we paid for? After another 3 hours, the second number was still ready. There was water running in the closet in it. And it was the most disgusting room of this category, instead of the promised terrace space of 1x2 meters. Let me remind you that the hotel was empty, and a huge number of rooms with full terraces were free.
The next day there was a circus with a swimming pool, which I described above.
We also tried to go to the spa (indoor pool, couple of saunas). Very dirty saunas, you literally sit down in a hammam and feel either sand or dirt, the shower in the hammam does not work to at least wash it all off, the taps do not work to even stupidly wash your hands. There is also a mood shower, 5 different modes. Only one worked.
On the day of our departure, there was no electricity in one of our rooms, no electricity at all. It turned out that the "master light" button turns off not only all the lights, but also the sockets 🤡🤡🤡 No one told us anything about this.
And the final thing: it turned out that the hotel has 5 stars for 2500 euros PAID PARKING. 30 euros. A curtain.
There were no apologies, questions "why are you leaving earlier", "did you like everything" from any of the employees.
The only thing that was not bad: breakfast. And then, on the second day, they closed the outdoor terrace in the restaurant, because it's "not the season" (it's still +25 outside)
I'm sorry, but I haven't seen such service in the Regent restaurant anywhere. My wife and I went to the summer terrace of the Regent restaurant. A waiter with glasses came up to us . He didn 't have a badge . When I came up to us , I ordered coffee for my wife . I asked for the main menu and lit a candle that was on the table. Next, I asked him to help me choose a hot soft drink. Then our waiter turned around without taking my order and left. I was very surprised, but I didn't take it into account. Five minutes later, this waiter came up to us and asked what we were going to order? I asked for the menu again , to light a candle and 2 coffees. Saying OK, the waiter left. 10 minutes passed , and coffee was brought to us . Another waiter was asked to light a candle, to which he immediately set it on fire. Then watching the actions of the waiter with glasses . I was amazed that this employee of such an elite restaurant could afford to scare customers (bent down and shouted in their ear from behind), and passed his hand over the head of other visitors. With other visitors, he could just stand and talk for 10 minutes. As a result , the menu was not brought , after smoking 5 cigarettes , the ashtray was never changed . I have a question, or is this attitude towards Russian speakers, or is this service in the restaurant of the five-star REGENT hotel? This unusual officer's name is Savva. I do not recommend ordering in Russian in this restaurant, you can just be ignored.
